The place wasn't busy for an afternoon brunch. The portion is still decent size and the staff is friendly. Beware there is a credit card service fee. Yes everyone is doing that now. But just in case, carry cash if you do t want to use cc.

Alaina was such a delightful server. The food was a nice diner quality and worth every penny. We have four more servings for leftovers. Portions are HUGE! The sausage gravy is delicious. The Blueberry was thick and luceous with the Blueberry compote and glaze you could really dress it up but it was great on its own. The chicken fried steak was excellent, breaded, and fried to perfection. Our grandson had the Captain Crunch French Toaste which was good but I was expecting a more robust cereal topping instead of a light dusting. Bacon and sausage links were typical and the hot chocolate was rich.

Such a good place to go when it's freezing outside! We got the red velvet pancakes and coffee and both were great! :)

We had the Fiesta & California skillets, they tasted great. Service was quick & so was our order. Everyone was very friendly! The restaurant was clean & we went around noon on a Tuesday so there wasn't a lot of people.

Chunky monkey Belgium waffle I really enjoyed this today!

A great place for breakfast and lunch or brunch! I ordered the Chunky Monkey Belgium waffle. I love a good Belgium waffle with pecans because the crispness of the toasted nuts along with the crisp edges of the waffle are so good. Add sliced bananas and you feel like you ordered from the "get healthy" menu. My friend ordered the tuna salad with sweet potato fries. I tried a fry and it was really good. Our server's name was Jesus. He was very attentive yet gave us time and space to enjoy a leisurely meal. I hadn't seen my friend in a couple of years and this was a great spot to enjoy a meal and catch up on life. I would never hold a table hostage if they were super busy and needed to turn the table over for another guest on a wait list. Bottom line is: enjoyable lunch with a sweet longtime friend that I only see when I'm in town combined with awesome food = a great dining experience!

As far as the food, everything was great. We were not able to finish it all the only thing that we would change is the quinoa bowl to have a little more seasoning, but everything else was cooked to perfection. I will definitely visit again. The breakfast options are the things most people get from here so most of the menu consists of these. Of course not everyone wants to get it. There's also lunch options like salads and sandwiches. At lunch we got a couple of these items. It's about $15 to get the Power Spinach Salad. A lot comes on it. There's chickpeas, cucumbers, house vinaigrette, onions, parsley, pomegranates, quinoa, and spring mix. Quite enough. The sandwich options include classics like Reubens. Great to come here hungry. It's got a few locations. They're open until the early afternoons so hours are limited which is the only bad thing.

The pork belly, ciabatta, and balsamic were all good individually, but together the flavors just didn't work. It felt mismatched... * Colorado lamb kebab: 10/10. This is one of the more $$ entrées on the menu, but it's absolutely worth it. The portion was generous, the lamb was high quality, and the artichoke pesto paired really well with the rich, gamey flavor. The roasted pearl onions were a great addition too. I would definitely recommend this dish. * Foxtail paella: 8/10 flavorful orzo paella loaded with seafood. Definitely a sharing type of entree! Always a great time at Foxtail with great food and great service!

You could drive right by thinking it was a vacant building except for all the cars in the lot. The notion of vacant building is dispelled immediately upon entry. The place is busy, loud, vibrant with customers clearly enjoying the food and experience. The interior is decorated simply, with muted colors, is well lit, and clean. There are a lot of hard surfaces which makes the ambient noise level fairly high; however, it did not detract from the experience (but just be advised in case you feel this is bothersome). We were greeted warmly and though the place was packed, we were seated quickly. Despite the diner-like vibe, there is no counter, just tables and booths. Our server was prompt, very pleasant, and efficient. The coffee was hot and flavorful. The food: Large portions, well prepared, warm, savory, satisfying. The loaded Cheers omelette, with hash browns and pancakes, was more food than I could enjoy in one sitting so I have leftovers for tomorrow. Prices are in line with more reasonably priced independent eateries. A two-egg, hash browns, pancake combo is $14. This place will be an option in the future.

They also feature an extensive craft beer selection. I went with the seasonal Abita Bad Mother Shucker Stout, which was a fun nod to Mardi Gras and a solid stout choice for the occasion. For my entrée, I ordered the Mardi Gras Platter ($32.99). It included: * Choice of soup (I chose the seafood chowder) * Shrimp Creole * Jambalaya * Chicken Étouffée * Crawfish & Shrimp Monica * Broccoli The restaurant was busy, which is understandable for Fat Tuesday, but our food took quite a while to arrive. The soup was delivered at the same time as the platter. In my opinion, the soup should have come out first. Ironically, the seafood chowder ended up being the highlight of the meal--rich, flavorful, and well-balanced. Unfortunately, by the time I finished the soup and moved on to the platter, most of it was only room temperature. The items were layered and grouped together in a way that made it unclear what paired with what. The chicken was noticeably overcooked and lacked depth of flavor. It tasted as though Cajun seasoning had simply been sprinkled on top rather than developed into the dish. Overall, the platter lacked the bold, authentic Cajun flavor profile I was expecting. The Crawfish & Shrimp Monica was advertised as coming in a bowl but was served in what amounted to a cup-sized portion. The menu description listed Cajun Alfredo sauce, crawfish, crab, blackened shrimp, pasta, Parmesan cheese, and broccoli. After mixing in the Parmesan, I searched for the seafood components and found none--no visible crab, crawfish, or blackened shrimp in the pasta. I mentioned this to the bartender, who said they would bring some out to add in. A few minutes later, three Cajun shrimp were delivered. There was still no crab or crawfish. While the Alfredo sauce and pasta themselves were very good, the absence of the advertised proteins significantly hurt the dish. Had I ordered the Crawfish & Shrimp Monica on its own for $24.99 and received the same portion and lack of seafood, I would have been extremely disappointed. Overall, while the concept and menu sounded promising for Mardi Gras, the execution--especially at that price point--left a lot to be desired.
