We stopped by Blueberry's Grill while we were on vacation in Myrtle Beach, and it definitely lived up to the hype! It was pretty busy when we arrived, but we were able to grab seats at the bar, which worked out perfectly. Our bartender, who was also our server, was fantastic. Even with how packed the restaurant was, our drinks and food came out quickly, and the service never felt rushed. We started with a mimosa flight, and every flavor was refreshing and delicious. For my entrée, I ordered the Fennel Kale Spicy Chicken Benedict. I don't usually order eggs Benedict for brunch, but I'm so glad I gave this one a try. The combination of flavors was unique and really well balanced. It was served on sourdough instead of the traditional English muffin, which was a nice twist, although I think I still prefer an English muffin personally. The crispy home fries were the perfect side and rounded out the meal nicely. The restaurant itself has a bright, modern, and aesthetic atmosphere that makes it a great brunch spot. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back. Next time, I'll have to try one of their signature blueberry dishes!

The service was great even tho she made a few mistakes. Mistakes are forgivable because she was so pleasant!! My sweet potato pancake was extremely dense. So were the blueberry hush puppies. Not a fan. The eggs were delicious and I am not a scrambled egg fan. These were PERFECT!!!!!!

I've had Blueberry Grill before but my 1st time at this particular location. This time was just as amazing as the first. I had the Breakfast of Champions w/ sweet potato pancakes- chef's kiss. Everything was fresh and amazing!!!

I am glad we came early to this cute place because it gets very busy, quickly. We loved it so much here that we dined here 2 mornings in a row. The first visit, we started with the Mimosa Flight, SO good; blueberry was my fave, so I got a glass of that the 2nd time we went. Both mornings we were a large party; we ordered the salmon benedict, blueberry pancakes, blueberry waffles, Southerner skillet, Truffled western steak skillet, melting pot omelet, The traditional, and steak chimi and eggs. We all loved our meals, both days. We were also fortunate to have the same waitress, Bradyn, both days; she was excellent. Again, get there early, or you will definitely wait, but well worth it.

Went to this place to see what the hype was about. I was sadly disappointed. The Cinnamon Roll French Toast was a bit dry. The eggs, just okay, a little bland. The waiter that we had never asked if we wanted any drink refills. Also, we ate inside the restaurant and there were flies swarming around the entire time, to the point I brought out my fan from my purse to try and hold them off. The ambiance was okay, it does get pretty loud inside with conversations and no type of buffer. Also I got the impression that there a/c may not have been working because it was quite warm inside, and I saw a few of the employees fanning themselves. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone that I know, as all this to me was a turn off.

Perfect Brunch, I'll be dreaming about the Blueberry Hushpuppies. Best service we experienced in Myrtle Beach.

I wish we had this restaurant in Houston because it was sooooo good! It was our last day on our trip and we were on our way to a fishing trip. It was surprisingly very busy for a late Monday morning. We barely had an hour to eat, but fortunately we were able to be seated immediately on the patio. We told our waitress we were on a time crunch and she took care of us so well to get us in and out! She was quick taking our orders and went ahead and brought us the check when our food came out. As for the food, absolutely delicious! I ordered the blueberry hushpuppies to start. They came out warm and soft on the inside with a little crisp on the outside. They were cooked perfectly and the butter and compote that come with it really set it off. I loved them! I ordered a classic breakfast with scrambled eggs, grits and blueberry sausage. The grits were creamy and I liked the sweet and savory of the blueberry sausage. I was not disappointed at all by this breakfast and was sad I found it in my last day. I highly recommend!

Got on the waitlist at 11:30, seated at 11:50. That's good for a Sat am. The place is jammed. Got a waitress for a drink order quickly. The ten minute wait time gives me a chance to the menu. Lots of choices. Waitress returns quickly With juice and takes our order, an omelette and a western skillet. Decor is diner style with cooks visible to the diners. Loud, lots of banging . The food came quickly and the skillet was very good. I would have preferred one more egg and few less potatoes, but the mixture of potatoes, ham, onion and bacon was excellent. The wait was short. I went through Google for seating. I know the wait can be long at this place. It is well worth it. I wanted everything blueberry on the menu but I know my eyes are bigger than my stomach. I settled for the blueberry donut wholes, not sure the name. The drink menu with coffee spiked drinks with bourbon and the other drinks was a great selection. I didn't get that but wanted to try. I wouldn't have made it to my son tournament. If I am in the area again I will be back. I highly recommend this place. read more

My experience at Blueberry's was good, but nothing special. The wait time was long, and we enjoyed our meals but I would say the food isn't worth the hype- Although, we didn't order a "blueberry favorite", so I might feel differently if I ordered one of the dishes they are known for! We came here for breakfast and it was packed. We had a party of ten so we have to join the waitlist. The wait wasn't that bad only 35 minutes and our waitress was very nice. Lots of options on the menu. Also make sure you get coffee or a cocktail. We ordered the blueberry hushpuppies and they were so tasty. We got the chicken and waffles and it comes with there bottle of warm syrup and the waffles batter was good. The chicken strips were good chicken meat no rubber. The hey blueberry omelette was good I recommend getting the sour cream and salsa on the side that way if you like the salsa you can pour it on top. We also got the chicken sausage and avocado harissa and hummus which was good the chicken sausage was okay. The place is packed and very clean. The noise level is not that bad even if they are slammed. read more

You have to try this place. A little pricey but worth every penny. We split a monte cristo and an order of blueberry hush puppies. A-mazing food!! The restaurant has a small dining room inside but we opted to sit outside under an umbrella. It was crowded and pretty loud inside. AMAZING breakfast in Myrtle Beach. It's located in strip mall, but don't let this prevent you from finding some good morning grub. - Indoor and outdoor seating - Great service - Extensive menu of sweet and savory breakfast items, including focus on blueberry dishes (true to name) I enjoyed the JUNGLE ISLAND SKILLET. Corned beef hash, mushrooms, & jalapeños. Topped with Cheddar-Jack cheese & avocado crema. The jalapeno spice was perfect balance with the savory hash. It came with some hollandaise sauce to pour over, which made the dish. Absolutely loved it. The wife ordered the chorizo Benedict and enjoyed it. GLUTEN FREE The daughter is gluten intolerant and enjoyed GLUTEN FREE pancakes topped with strawberries, blueberries and whipped cream chocolate chips. It's rare to find gluten free pancakes which she said were very tasty! FRESH SQUEEZED ORANGE JUICE You can tell that this is actual fresh squeezed juice. It was really tasty. It was expensive, but you get what you pay for. LEMONADE High quality lemonade. Daughter enjoyed regular and I enjoyed the raspberry lemonade. It doesn't come with free refills so pace yourself. It's refreshing and easy to gulp down quickly. COFFEE I am coffee snob, and found the coffee mugs to be lovely with a nice fat round lip...and are for sale if you want to take one home. However the coffee was artificially flavored (likely blueberry) which I found to be bad tasting. I am not a fan of flavored coffee, which may just be personal taste. The food was super good. Definitely the one of better options in Myrtle Beach. The wait was not terrible. We were told 45 minutes but I'm sure it was not more than 20 minutes. We sat outside. I appreciated the fans that were going. Our server was great and helpful. I got the two eggs breakfast , my son got pancakes and my hubby got the omelette. I really enjoyed my breakfast until I tried my husband's omelette. The omelette was fresh and fluffy. The pancakes were too thick for me. Pro tip: Order the blueberry hush puppies, it's the restaurant's signature dish. My Yelp buddy Joe told me I have to hit up Blueberry's Grill when in Myrtle Beach. There are multiple locations so I chose the restaurant closest to the hotel. Once inside, it's magic. We're greeted warmly and shown to a large booth. Our waitress takes our drink orders and brings to the table blueberry corn hush puppies. It almost looks like a small zeppoli but one bite and I was hooked. Blueberry's original recipe. Made with blue corn meal and mixed in blueberries, those puppies are served warm along with honey butter & blueberry compote on the side. I cracked open a puppy, slathered on some honey butter and then dipped it into the compote. Slap your mamma good! I was craving pancakes, my sister in law ordered the sweet potato pancakes and I ordered a short stack with pecans. I said please put "pee cans" on top. The waitress said "Pa canns", yes sir. I know I'm down south, I'm still saying pee cans! Haha I ordered a side of their homemade sausage. This breakfast was heavenly. The pancakes had a nice rise to them and the addition of warm syrup made this treat complete. This is a large restaurant in a strip mall. Plenty of parking, I found our visit to be enjoyable. The menu has lots of contemporary breakfast choices. Enjoy! read more

Our server Jameson took very good care of us. I was torn between a couple of items when ordering. My shrimp and grits tasted delicious, with the Bloody Mary sauce. My wife and I met up with my niece and my brother for brunch. This restaurant was very busy so we were waitlisted, which went quickly. Finally gets getting seated and are orders put in, food started being delivered to the table relatively fast. Beyond this restaurant is very nice. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We had a great meal at Blueberrys grill. The service was very quick, which is important when you have three little kids. I had the smoked salmon omelette, which was delicious. Delicious breakfast spot if are visiting Myrtle Beach!!! I can't wait to go back!! Our server was super friendly and attentive and gave some great suggestions on hat we should try! I had the cinnamon roll French toast which i must say was perfect, not too sweet and light and fluffy! The regular French toast was amazing as well! Sometimes i wish i could just have both lol! We decided to try Blueberry's for breakfast as a break from the drive for donuts. Before I get started reviewing make sure you take advantage of the waitlist feature here on Yelp, it's a life saver. When I think breakfast I think greasy spoon diners personally. Eggs and biscuits covered in gravy, so Blueberry's was a little different than I would typically have went with. I definitely mean that in a good way. My wife went with the traditional blueberry pancakes and they did not disappoint. Fluffy, fresh blueberries with a touch of sweetness and tartness. My youngest son went with the plain Jane French toast with powdered sugar. My other son went with the chicken and waffles, I ate the waffles. Both dishes were fantastic. The French toast may have been the best I've ever tried, and the waffles were fluffy with a slight crisp. I can't speak for the chicken except to say my picky 12 year old finished it before I had a chance to ask for a taste. I have the "Jungle" skillet. It had potatoes, mushrooms, jalapeños, bacon and kielbasa with an avocado crème and hollandaise sauce on the side. As I said earlier I'm a greasy, heavy breakfast guy but this was pretty light and refreshing. The avocado and hollandaise sauce paired well together and I ended up satisfied and full, we all did. The crowds can be daunting and if you don't get on the list you may end up waiting upwards of 45 minutes, but it is definitely worth the wait. I'd recommend Blueberry's to anyone staying in the Myrtle Beach area. read more

While we were waiting, the bartender asked where we were from. We told her Southern Maryland, and when I said Huntingtown, she immediately said, "That's where I'm from." That alone surprised us not many people even know where Huntingtown is. When we mentioned the road we live on, she said, "That's the road I turn on to my parents' house." We had no idea that this was a bottomless refill, but I don't know how anyone orders more than one extra entree because the portions are huge and quite filling. We were lucky to get a table close to the window so we could have a nice view. All of the workers were courteous & kind. If you are super hungry & have a larger party, you have to come here at least once, while visiting Broadway at the Beach. So I can say without any reservation that we would have never returned if the food we had today was being served back then. Paula Deen's fried chicken once upon a time was EPIC. But IMHO, this current offering in comparison is night and day to the deliciousness once served in Savannah. As a matter of fact, we didn't enjoy any of the meats or sides. Our food experience tasted like an entirely different restaurant recipe and to top it off the chicken was overcooked and dry, something we never experienced at Lady & Sons. After sharing our disappointment with management, our bill was cancelled (except for my cocktail) and we left, likely never to return. What a disappointing end to a fabulous food era, because the food at Lady and Son's was one of our families favorite reasons to vacation near Savannah. It was almost always the first meals of our vacation, but the food we were served on this most recent visit to Myrtle Beach they can keep. On a brighter note, the restaurant interior is beautiful and the location is fantastic. The staff were friendly and our server pretty much brought out the entire menu trying to satisfy us. Each bite of each item was so disappointing that I asked him not to bring anything else, but he insisted on finding something, anything redeeming. This restaurant was a surprise from our oh so friendly, engaging, interesting and very accomplished Accordion Virtuoso, Mike. To our very enthusiastic, lovely, patient, Server Berkley. To our food which was divine. To the "Old World" Italian environment, kinda like Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, without the human statues that move ever so slightly, but just enough to to make you feel, something is a miss, but what??? Man, that drove me crazy. Also, you want to go here to dine because their competing Restaurants in the area feel having you wait in very long, well over an hour and a half lines, just to get in satisfies their need not to take any reservations. Hun...? Yep, they're fine having Aunt Susie's makeup looking like Mark Shostrom, the Master Makeup Artist from the horror series "A Nightmare on Elm Street" movies, put it on for her. We all know also, because while we tried our best not looking at how Aunt Susie's makeup was contorting her face, it was like trying not to look at a car wreck. Their appetisers looked awesome however, this is an "Old World" Italian restaurant that offered their minestrone soup, and their Caesar salad which came with our meals, was very tasty, and paired very well with the bottle of wine from their varied, and well selected wine list, which we all shared. First, I read some of Villa Romania's great reviews on Yelp, before making a reservation, most especially, because I did not want anyone to have to repeat "THE LONG Lines" at our Fried Fish Palace, lol experience from two nights earlier. All of our entrees pictured below, were savoy, aroma enticing, tastebud thrilling, flavor forward, and exceeded all our sensory expectations which helped us all unwind while really enjoying our evening out together as it unexpectedly, evolved into an event for us all. While all their deserts sounded wonderful we were all completely full. But on our next visit, tiramisu, ice cream, and cannolis for all. So it's expensive, right? That is a great question Poindexter, but wrongo, my parsimonious friend. It was again, surprisingly affordable, and "I shall return" as General Douglas MacArthur once said. Why? Because sometimes you just can't find what will work for everyone, and that feels and tastes, just right. That's it! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! It is very rare for me to be as furious as I am to make a yelp review. We came into Blueberrys around 11 am on May 29th. They told us it would be a 25-30 min wait, no problem. We waited on the side and were told that we have to wait outside because there was no room, in the 90 degree weather. Not a big deal. We went outside and waited, 40 minutes go by and no one has called us. I went inside to notice they skipped over our name on the wait list, and were most likely not going to be served until I stepped inside to see what the deal was. Our server was okay, didnt pay us much attention. We got the glasses of water and the smell was HORRENDOUS, the glasses smelled like fish. We asked for 2 new glasses and the waitress responded with "I'm so sorry about that, let me get you guys a few bottles." She comes back with sparkling water. I tasted it and didnt like it, so i left it aside. an hour goes by and the food hasn't come, we ask another server about it and she says she would get our waitress. Finally it comes, the pancakes are drenched in butter and the omelet is cold. I was upset and just wanted to leave so i asked for my check. I noticed the waitress charged me for the 2 sparkling waters even though we didnt touch them. I asked to speak to a manager and no one ever came. The waitress was kind enough to take them off. The management here is terrible. I would not recommend this place if it was the only place opened in Myrtle. read more

This was our second visit. Last time we were there, just a couple of months ago, all was great! Hence, our return. The food is still very good, and the service was excellent too --once we got seated. We were told there would be a 90-minute wait. There were patrons seated at exactly five tables, inside AND out, when we arrived. 90 minutes..? We then watched table after table get seated and served. I approached the hostess again, and they said they were short-staffed (?). When I told all three of those young ladies that they have obviously seated people ahead of us, they shrugged and offered to "move us up" on the seating list. List? WE were the only people waiting. After this, things moved along fine, but it truly was ridiculous. If there is such a significant problem with employees, please save the public from the hardship and close after 3 or 4 hours instead of 7. We clearly would have visited their other location, if a real problem with being served were made clear. We really liked this place, and hope to be back, try not to do this again, as this was pretty bad. Just the wife and me hitting up Blueberry's Grill in Myrtle Beach. Heads up -- it's popular, so get there early unless you enjoy twiddling your thumbs like a retired professional. We ended up sitting inside, which was cozy and low-key. Menu? Oh man, we wanted to order everything -- so many tasty options, it's like they're daring you to pick just one. Service was awesome, friendly folks who didn't mind us hemming and hawing over every dish. Drinks showed up a little late (I had to remind myself I wasn't in a rush... much), but honestly, that didn't stop the good vibes. Food was solid, portions generous, and flavor on point. All 5 of us were speechless by the environment! It was clean and classy! All of our orders came out at the same time and we were in heaven! The food was amazing and their brunch mimosas are to die for! We live in the New York area so our expectations were very high! This place measured up to what we were expecting! The staff was so friendly and patient. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Evi Spaho. He was delightful and down to earth. He made sure we enjoyed our time and food while we were visiting. I really wanted to love Blueberry Grill, but the wait time was absolutely ridiculous. I checked in at 10:48 am and wasn't seated until 12:36 pm. Almost two hours--totally unacceptable. As for the food, it was hit or miss. The chicken and waffles were great--the chicken was flavorful and cooked well. However, the new steak sandwich was disappointing. For the price, there was barely any steak, the bread wasn't toasted, and it felt like I was eating more bread than anything else. The blueberry hush puppies? Overcooked. The one saving grace was the service--our server was attentive and friendly despite how busy they were. But overall, the long wait and some underwhelming dishes really took away from the experience. The English muffin on the crabcake Benedict was so hard so I just ate the crab cake which has a nice flavor to it. Home fries were good. Online shows that there's vegan options but that's not true per se. They had oatmeal made with water which had zero flavor and was so watery my baby and husband didn't bother to eat it. Leaving them to eat a hamburger for breakfast. The atmosphere is nice but i don't think it was worth a 45 minute wait. read more

My wife and I ate here today and the food was delicious. We walked in and it was very busy, but the hostesses in the front were warm and inviting and asked us how we were which set the tone for a nice accommodating breakfast. The food came out quick and they even cleared off a special booth for us. My wife enjoyed the coffee and even took one to go. The servers were all so friendly, and the service went from great to exceptional on our way out the hostess (I think her name was Laurie) held the door for my wife and I and told us to have a great day and for that we will be returning ! read more

Went based on reviews and didn't disappoint. Did outdoor seating with three adults, 3 year-old and baby. It was nice ambiance and wait staff was very good. Constantly came to the table to top up coffee and made sure everything was okay. Pancakes were a little under done for the little one but they happily gave us a new batch. The Chorizo was amazing as was there build your own omelette. My wife actually ate the whole omelette which she never does and I ate the entire chorizo skillet - Which I never do. The food at this place is great and the service is good - but it is breakfast. We would love to go here once per week - but unfortunately, because of their prices - it is now only for special occasions. For breakfast, you don't expect to have a check for 2 people to be over $30 - and the portions are VERY small. We already know that when we leave from here and went to Starbucks for pastries to actually fill us up. Had breakfast on a Sunday and thanks to Joining the Waitlist on Yelp before we arrived, the wait wasn't terribly long even though it was crowded and busy. I had the bananas foster French toast and it was delicious AND filling. My friend got the Eggs Benedict and she gave me a bite to try along with the potato wedges and it was also delicious. I have been going to Blueberry`s since they opened and have always been happy with it. However the last 2 times I waited forever to get a waitress to even come to the table even though they were not even busy. I heard they were expanding to another location. My advice is to get service at your first place running better before you open another one. Since my first visit right after Blueberry's opened I have become a regular. The waffle blast is divine and my once weekly treat. Also a favorite is the Scrambler. Lunch favorites are the Kale salad with grilled chicken and the Charleston Shrimp and Grits. It goes without saying that the blueberry muffin is the best ever:) The staff is always friendly, helpful, attentive. They even stayed open late today to let a friend join me for a late lunch. This is my go to! Bananas Foster French toast made with Halle bread. Grits with goat cheese and pesto! There are three kinds of shrimp and grits on the breakfast and lunch menu. The food came so fast, I swore it was somebody else's. It was excellent and on time and correct. My first time there was on Mother's Day several years ago. They were slammed but everyone was happy. We waited about 45 minutes on the waitlist for our party of 2 before we got manually removed by the host when we were 3rd in line, I'm not sure if they were assuming we were going to be a no-show. Family came down to Myrtle beach for vacation and a friend recommended this place and their sweet potato pancakes. For a party of 6 (4 adults & 2 picky kids) no plate was left unturned.
