This place lives up to the hype. We were told about a 45 minute wait but we were sat just 15 minutes later! Although the decor is pretty run of the mill for breakfast spots, something seemed different. It might have been because the spot was packed with all kinds of people, young and old. The atmosphere really felt uplifting. Anyway, it's hard to describe exactly but the dining experience was pretty flawless for what it was. I ordered the chicken and waffles, which was great. Chicken was boneless and the breading was so crispy and flavorful. I had to take a break several times to savor my meal because it was that good. Service was great. Checked on frequently enough and drinks re-filled promptly. The one downside, which caught us by surprise is they charge you a fee for using a credit/debit card. We came Monday afternoon and used the Yelp waitlist ahead of time. You have to go inside to check in and their timing to call you back was spot on. Even though it was a super busy afternoon all the staff were friendly and accommodating. The inside of the establishment is a nice layout with the long bar being in the back portion of the restaurant. My friend ordered his favorite from any brunch spot chicken & waffles. He devoured the waffles without even letting me get a bite so I know they were good. I was able to steal a bite of the chicken, the meat itself was well cooked and seasoned inside however some sections of the fried batter were a tad bit undercooked. I ordered the Dublin omelette with grits but some components were mixed up in the rush of things. I instead got potatoes but our waitress brought out grits in a jiffy when she saw the mixup. The grits were warm, hearty, served w additional butter on the side and come low seasoned which I prefer so I can salt to my liking. Also my Dublin did not have the Brie drizzle on top like the other images were showing the cheese inside did not taste like Brie as well. I'm pretty sure the plate was mixed up but it was still delicious and fresh. I'm for sure going to come back again to try more items on the menu. Opted to skip the English muffin so I basically had homemade corned beef hash, poached eggs, hollandaise, with a side of fruit. The corned beef was not really cut in a way it would be tender, but there was a lot of it and I was able to slice it into smaller pieces. Walked (easy 15 min walk) from our beachfront hotel for brunch- joined waitlist before we left and easily checked in for a short wait when we arrived.
