Sedona Power Bowl ($18) very good, but pricey
Joe P.

Bluefire is the bfast/lunch/dinner option at the Hilton Scottsdale Resort & Villas where we stayed. I receive a $15/person daily food & beverage credit as part of my Hilton membership, so I decided to use the credit at Bluefire one day. The low carb option they have is pretty tasty. There are two poached eggs, avocado and cauli rice. The only downside is the price, but it met the daily spend requirement along with a couple of coffees. Vivian handled my take out order. She was super nice and attentive. The space is casual and open air. The layout caters to family and business travelers. I wouldn't go out of my way to come to Bluefire. Nonetheless, it was a positive experience. There is also a cafe if you want to just grab a coffee and pastry.

Had to ask for sweetener for my coffee. Had to ask for a spoon to stir my coffee. Luke warm potatoes. Mini slices of bread for toast. Rubbery egg 1/3 of omelette has no filling. Chorizo spicy (not expected). Server was nice but not very proactive. Disappointing for a Hilton.

It's convenient since we are staying at the hotel. Nice sunny day sitting outside in the patio area near the pool. The food is what you would expect from a hotel restaurant. Nothing too fancy. They use shredded chicken for the chicken quesadilla. Salad was definitely overpriced.

Dined here for breakfast several times and at night for drinks before retiring at the hotel. It's a rather smaller dining room and a big U bar. Bar closes at midnight daily, which is good since so many places nearby are closed after 10, except for Old Town area. The service is friendly at all three occasions. Breakfast buffet is your standard buffet with scrambled eggs, bacon (one of the best I've had; nice and thick), sausage links, French toast, potatoes, bread bar for toast, oatmeal, pastries, and cheese and meat board. On Sundays, they have an omelette station too! The bartender made my drinks as requested (good old fashion drink) and our nachos at night hit the spot. Only complaint why was the inside bar closed and the outdoor bar opened on a Saturday night, in December? It was freezing at night. It doesn't make any sense. Anyways, a good dining option if staying at hotel. Flemings steakhouse is also inside this hotel as another, albeit expensive, dining option too.

This is inside the Hilton hotel. I arrived about thirty minutes prior to closing. I had a chicken sandwich that was the best I've had in a while. The wait staff was not too attentive. Is this a Scottsdale thing? Seems to be that way all week here.

They were able to accommodate us although the hostess was a little rude as we could've just went somewhere else if there was no room. All of us ordered the steak frites and a lot of ours had really big fat pieces so there actually wasn't much "meat." In comparison to the first time we went here, the steak the first time was much better. They also changed the chimichurri recipe which was needed and was really good this time. A few people got the dole whip boozy marg. They said it was a 3/5 as it was inconsistent drink to drink, ex: one got cherry, one didn't; one was more watery than another one. They said they wouldn't get it again. Overall it was a little disappointing compared to my first visit, especially with most of us only being able to eat half our steak. They also changed the plating to the wooden boards which were kind of warped so when we were cutting our steaks, it was shaking the table a lot.

For the same price and a much better vibe Hillstone easily wins that battle. I've had a few other items. Cheese curds are good. Chicken sandwiches are good but wayyyy overpriced. Sam was our server and he was absolutely amazing--super friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations. Pro tip: check out the photos on their website beforehand because everything on the menu looks so good it's hard to choose! We ordered the jalapeño pickle bites, green chile chicken Philly with fries, and the chicken salad sandwich with a side salad and avocado lime dressing. Every single thing was delicious, but the chicken salad sandwich completely stole the show. So good. The vibe was just as great as the food. Super upbeat atmosphere, really good music, and fun quotes all over the walls that made it feel lively and unique. We were sitting next to a couple visiting from out of town who said they had already come earlier in the week and had to come back one more time before leaving--which says everything. Highly recommend if you're strolling through Old Town. We'll definitely be back!
