Had to ask for sweetener for my coffee. Had to ask for a spoon to stir my coffee. Luke warm potatoes. Mini slices of bread for toast. Rubbery egg 1/3 of omelette has no filling. Chorizo spicy (not expected). Server was nice but not very proactive. Disappointing for a Hilton.

It's convenient since we are staying at the hotel. Nice sunny day sitting outside in the patio area near the pool. The food is what you would expect from a hotel restaurant. Nothing too fancy. They use shredded chicken for the chicken quesadilla. Salad was definitely overpriced.

Dined here for breakfast several times and at night for drinks before retiring at the hotel. It's a rather smaller dining room and a big U bar. Bar closes at midnight daily, which is good since so many places nearby are closed after 10, except for Old Town area. The service is friendly at all three occasions. Breakfast buffet is your standard buffet with scrambled eggs, bacon (one of the best I've had; nice and thick), sausage links, French toast, potatoes, bread bar for toast, oatmeal, pastries, and cheese and meat board. On Sundays, they have an omelette station too! The bartender made my drinks as requested (good old fashion drink) and our nachos at night hit the spot. Only complaint why was the inside bar closed and the outdoor bar opened on a Saturday night, in December? It was freezing at night. It doesn't make any sense. Anyways, a good dining option if staying at hotel. Flemings steakhouse is also inside this hotel as another, albeit expensive, dining option too.

This is inside the Hilton hotel. I arrived about thirty minutes prior to closing. I had a chicken sandwich that was the best I've had in a while. The wait staff was not too attentive. Is this a Scottsdale thing? Seems to be that way all week here.

This was my first time dining in, and I decided to bring my mom while she was visiting me. Overall, it turned into a wonderful experience, but it did start off on the wrong foot. The restaurant itself is beautiful. It's right along the Scottsdale Canal, and the atmosphere is inviting from the moment you walk in. I especially loved the open kitchen concept. Watching the team prepare drinks and food while working together so seamlessly added to the experience. You can tell everyone works as a team because multiple employees helped deliver our food and picked up our empty plates instead of leaving everything to one server. Unfortunately, our first interaction with the hostess left us feeling uncomfortable. We arrived before the dining room opened at 11:00, and she invited us to sit and wait, which was perfectly fine. However, as other guests began arriving, I noticed she was asking everyone else for their names while adding them to the waitlist. She never asked for mine. Instead, after three parties were seated before us, I politely asked why we had been skipped. Her response was that she had "grabbed my description" instead of my name. That honestly didn't sit well with me. Being identified by my appearance instead of simply being asked for my name felt unnecessary and uncomfortable, especially when everyone else was asked for theirs. We were also initially placed at a table tucked into a corner by the entrance, where there was a lot of traffic coming in and out. After I spoke up, another hostess immediately apologized and happily moved us to a much more comfortable booth, which I appreciated. Thankfully, everything changed once our server, Gustavo, introduced himself. He completely turned the experience around. He welcomed us warmly and explained the menu in detail. When I mentioned I needed a moment to translate for my mom, he immediately smiled and switched to Spanish. Seeing my mom's face light up because she could comfortably ask questions and understand everything made our lunch even more special. His hospitality was genuine, thoughtful, and exactly what great service should be. The food absolutely lived up to the hype. We ordered three bruschettas the mozzarella, avocado, and strawberry goat cheese and every single one was delicious. The artichoke dip was my favorite. For our entrée, we shared the salmon, and I loved that the kitchen plated it already divided for us without us even asking. It's a small detail, but one that showed attention to the guest experience. The surprise standout was the soup of the day and that was the lentil soup. It was honestly the best lentil soup either of us has had! My mom mentioned how good the coffee was three different times, so you know it was good! On the drinks side, I asked Gustavo for his recommendation, and he suggested the watermelon sangria. After trying one, I immediately ordered a second. That's how good it was! It was refreshing, perfectly balanced, and easily one of the best sangrias I've had. Even the little details stood out. The restaurant was spotless, the restrooms were well maintained, and the quality throughout the space reflected the care they put into the entire experience. Despite the frustrating start with the hostess, Olive and Ivy won us over because of the incredible food, outstanding service from Gustavo, and the beautiful atmosphere. We'll absolutely be back, and next time I'll be looking forward to the meal just as much as that watermelon sangria! "Gracias Gustavo"

(I'm sorry I did not catch her name!!). We split the cinnamon roll and egg sandwich and it was great! Probably some of the best breakfast potatoes I've ever had! The only reason I would give them a four out of five star review is because their Coke zero comes in a bottle rather than fountain, but definitely personal preference! I do wish they had misters everywhere outside instead of just one place along the water, but also you could sit inside as well. We will definitely be back to try other things.

When I told the server, he replaced it, but didn't give everyone new glasses. Only me. My friend ordered a wrap and asked for it to be gluten free. The person who brought the food told her that it was gluten free. The server, who had taken the order, came back and told her it wasn't gluten free. He told her he'd replace it and take it off of her bill. It took her forever to get the new wrap. And when she got the bill, he hadn't removed it from her tab.

Our party arrived right on time for our reservation, but we were not seated until 15 min later because our table was not ready. It took about an additional 15 min to get tap water for the table (there was not enough provided anyways), and to place our orders too another ~20 min. The food did not arrive until 30 min later. For context, we eventually learned that the restaurant was short staffed and the bartender was also operating as our waiter. When the food finally arrived, there was a mix-up on what was delivered. We had checked with the staff who delivered one of the dishes: we ordered the "wild mushroom" side, but what we received did not look quite like it. We asked clarifying questions x2, but were assured, "no, it is the wild mushroom." Turned out, it was the mushroom empanada that was delivered to our table, which we originally did not order. The management did rectify the situation upon the conclusion of the event when we were paying the bill, but to us, it felt a bit accusatory as if we intentionally wanted to cause a huge fuss about the final total, which was absolutely not the case. The food in general was delicious. If this was a more standard dining experience, it would have been 4-5 stars just for the food. The service was very subpar, and really colored the entire experience negatively, therefore the two star review. I understand that staffing shortages happen -- fine. My family has worked in food service as wait staff for 25+ YEARS, so I am empathetic. But for management to ring up our bill and then come confront us in an inflammatory manner, making us feel like we were wrong, on an occasion to celebrate something special, was extremely disappointing.

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the staff with a warm hello. We grabbed seats at the bar and were immediately welcomed, offered menus, and asked what we wanted to drink. We both got skinny margaritas, and they were really good. You could actually taste the tequila and fresh ingredients rather than an overly sweet margarita mix. We both ordered the Breakfast Burrito for $14, which comes with housemade chicken sausage, roasted potatoes, scrambled eggs, green chilis, mozzarella, cheddar, and fire-roasted tomato salsa. We also got ketchup on the side. The burrito was delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff explained that they focus on fresh, locally sourced, high-quality ingredients, and you could definitely taste the quality. The ambiance was great too. I loved the wood details throughout the restaurant, everything looked clean and well maintained, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I hope they're able to maintain the quality and local feel because the food, ingredients, service, and atmosphere really stood out. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

The place was buzzing with loud electronic music and tons of people dining -- I think because the ceiling is so high the noise is amplified. Because it was so busy it took a while for the server to come over but he did with waters which was nice but then the menus are all on QR codes -- which is annoying because it is hard to look at everything and because the menu is very confusing it would have been nice to see everything on paper. The menu is confusing because the selections are very odd -- I thought it was a mexican-asian/sushi fusion restaurant -- which I guess it is but it was still really hard to create the best food experience when I couldn't see everything available. My friend was hungry so she immediately put in an order for calamari and I was being called to order the blood orange margarita slushie. When the margarita came it was like nothing I have ever seen before. It looked more like a milkshake or like a creamsicle. I dove in thinking it would be too sweet but it was actually quite delicious and I sucked it back in a second! Also I put in an order for the edamame which sounded really good in the description -- "woodfired" and spicy miso butter -- but when they came they were really spicy and the woodfired element was making me cough, strangely enough -- I couldn't finish them! Finally after waiting forever we got the drinks and apps. It then took another 15 minutes to order our food. Again it was busy and my friend and I were catching up so it wasn't a big deal. We wanted a fairly light dinner so we just ordered one roll -- the Fuego, which had yellowtail and a whitefish, chili, cilantro and cucumber plus a pico de gallo on top -- it was very flavorful -- although a bit spicy for those who are spice wimps like me. Overall, thought it was a good meal but wasn't blown away.
