A perfect little coffee shop! Gregory's has a fantastic selection of drinks, milks and grab n go bites. I've tried their iced love affair with almond milk and it was great and had a wonderful sweet, strawberry flavor, but was a bit pricey. I'm not a huge coffee drinker so in the future, I hope to try their matcha. One of my favorite things about this spot is how quiet it is and how much seating is offered. I've done work here many times and really appreciated a quiet place to work in the middle of the city. Staff is friendly and the line is never long. read more

FASTEST COFFEE SERVICE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED!!! I am not sure what sorcery was in the air but it was not seconds after I'd put my credit card back in my wallet after paying that my drinks were ready! I was a bit skeptical about the quality of my drink given how it seemed to have appeared out of thin air, but I was not disappointed! My Nu brew was satisfying--neither too sweet nor watery. My mom's wet cappuccino was even more flavorful and got the job done in delivering the needed caffeine boost. The reasonable price is an added plus! I stopped in here on my way to a meeting in Midtown. The line to order moved quickly, but there was a backlog waiting for their drinks to be made either from ordering in-store or from ordering ahead. There were a lot of people behind the counter, but it was pretty disorganized for the 9am morning rush. The interior was clean and there was a little seating area in the back. There is a public bathroom, code is 1999. There was a variety of drink and food options. They did have the ingredients and nutritional info listed next to them which is helpful. I got the Flower Power cold brew which is made with lavender, honey, and almond milk. The lavender flavor definitely had a chemical taste to it which was a let down. The "best" part is definitely the amount of coffee for the price. The large is 24oz and it only cost $5.85 ($6.37 after tax) which is noticeably less than what small coffee shops or chains like Starbucks cost, and they did not charge extra for almond milk which is a plus. read more

I popped in on my way to work on a Friday morning. It was a crowded but my order was completed in a reasonable amount of time. The ambiance is laidback and the art on the wall is pretty cool (pictured). The food does not look that appetizing- perhaps it's a case of it tastes better than it looks. I ordered a Nu Cold Brew via Seamless for pick up at the store on East 33rd Street in Manhattan, NY. When I arrived, the baristas were friendly and courteous, but unfortunately they had not received my order for some reason. As soon as I showed them the order I had placed on the Seamless app, they made my drink immediately on the spot, no questions asked, no delays. and it was absolutely DELICIOUS. Years ago, I found Gregory's when I was lost in midtown, reeling from vertigo and hurting from neck strain, badly needing a quiet place with bucket-list coffee or better. Spent a lovely hour pondering how much i love NYC, ever since childhood in the Village. Quiet conversations, a book reader pausing mid-page because mid-bite was so delicious (yours truly) and coffee so wonderfully good that the smell returns in dreams, up here in Montana. Told a friend to make Gregory's a first stop on his city visit, and his hotel was just across the street. Matcha latte was very weak. Tasted more like steamed milk with a hint of matcha. the presence of matcha is barely there until the end so I suggest giving it a little swirl every now and then. The good thing is it isn't grainy and did taste better the more I drank. Really impressed with this place! One man was running the counter on a Sunday and although there probably should have been someone else with him based on the number of customers (I assume they called out or something) he kept it together, did everything well and continued to have a great attitude toward customers. There are Gregory's all over the city but this one was directly across from our hotel (the luxurious Hilton Garden Inn). Clean, spacious interior. Friendly counter folks. Baked goods looked good but I didn't try any. The cold brew was smooth. I sampled the Honey Badger which is an interesting coffee concoction made with almond milk and honey. This mostly NY based coffee chain has some of the best coffee drinks! During covid they don't have any indoor seating but they have a few tables and chairs set up outside to use. I am personally a fan of their cold brew creations. I've tried the hall & oats (cold brew, oat milk, cinnamon and vanilla) and the seasonal smashing pumpkin (cashew milk, pumpkin spice and cold brew). They both drink really smoothly and the hall & oats isn't too sweet. Note that it's premade so I wasn't able to adjust the milk or sweetness. The smashing pumpkin is delicious and really unique! The cashew milk adds a really interesting nutty flavor and creaminess. The spices seem different than your typical pumpkin spices in a good way. I've ordered in person and app ordering and both are equally convenient. Definitely recommend checking this place out! read more

After a bad chai latte from a coffee shop near Central Park, I was so glad when we stopped at Gregory's the next morning for coffee. The vibe inside was nice and cozy with dark wooded floors and walls and warm low level lighting: perfect for a rainy Saturday. The girl at the counter was really helpful because I asked her what flavors she had and she listed them all out for me, which I know can be a little annoying to do so I really appreciated it. I ended up ordering the maple latte and it was perfectly sweetened with just the right amount of milk to espresso ratio. It also paired really well with the bagel I had grabbed down the street! I really wish they put the almond milk out for customers, but if you ask for more, they'll just give you the carton. The staff is quick here, and they always put out free pastry samples.
