My FAVORITE brunch/ quick coffee/ matcha spot in Manhattan Beach!! ( or even a cocktail ) Absolutely amazing people who work there : Uirel , Edward and others. Australian coastal vibe... Love Bluestone lane

First time trying Bluestone Coffee and it was so good! I came in after a run on the strand and I got an Iced Vanilla Latte with oat milk. They make their vanilla syrup in house which I loved! The service was good and fast. It's a cute restaurant, I'll definitely have to come back to try the food. It is on the pricier side but totally worth it!

Excellent food, great service, and reasonable prices. We were initially attracted to the waiting crowd outside another breakfast place, but after comparing the menu and reviews we abandoned our place in line there to come here, and boy were we glad we did! This place is bustling with positive energy, young and friendly waiters, and a wonderful menu. We ordered the mushroom grilled cheese, sunrise burrito, and spiced chicken wrap. Also got the iced blueberry matcha and latte. Everything tasted amazing, and we liked the latte so much we got a bag of beans to go! I believe this place is Australian -- go Aussies!

I stopped by in desperate need of a little pick me up drink to sip on my drive home after a long beach day. I went with the strawberry matcha and immediately knew it was going to be bad just by looking at the color. PSA: Matcha should NEVER be yellow-ish green. The bar is in hell for everyone saying that their matcha is good. I was barley able to drink half of it before I threw it away.. It tasted super artificial and the strawberry was non existent.

Saturday morning service was -100000/10. It was incredibly busy, and it felt like the server had completely forgotten about us until I got up and asked for an update on our food almost 45 min after ordering. Avocado toast was soggy as if it had been sitting out for hours. BL big brekkie was served on toast, also soggy from sitting under the flavorless spinach and mushroom mix. Bacon on the dish tasted worse than what you'd get at a cheap model continental breakfast. The plain black coffee served in a glass jar with no handle. Imagine my surprise when I nearly burned my fingers off picking it up to pour in the cup. The ice in my husband's cold brew was floating at the top half melted when it came to the table and made it horribly watered down. Sadly disappointing experience. Won't be back.

Wonderful place for quick service or table service the option is yours. We love the drink selections for kids. There's more than just hot chocolate which we appreciate. My kids devoured the keen green smoothie (banana, mango, kale, chia seeds, almond butter). The athletes burrito was delicious and so lean and healthy. We also like the breakkie board. 1/2 granola yogurt parfait and 1/2 avo toast. Now on to the beach we left so satisfied.

Stopped by this little coffee shop in Manhattan Beach and had a great experience. The soft chili scramble with avocado was a slam dunk for me! It was super flavorful, beautifully presented, and a really generous portion. The truffle cheese sandwich was also tasty and comforting. Drinks were a mix: the matcha latte and affogato were both good, while the PB protein smoothie was just okay. The ambiance is bright and relaxing, and the staff is friendly, which makes the whole visit feel easy and enjoyable. Would definitely come back for the food and vibes.

I was able to get an affogato at 7 PM, which I really appreciated since most cafés stop serving coffee much earlier in the day. The space is brightly lit and comfortable, with self-serve water and napkins already set out on each table, clearly designed to keep things moving smoothly. It's nice to have options in the area where not everything open in the evening is just a bar or restaurant. The affogato was good, and my boyfriend enjoyed his espresso, describing it as muted in a good way and nicely balanced. They close at 8 PM, which makes it a great early-mid evening stop.

After walking up and down for a while I needed a cold drink. I walked in to this place and immediately was greeted by the friendliest employees here. After looking at their menu I decided to get a smoothie that sounded delicious. And it sure was. Perfectly made. I enjoyed every sip. The menu has variety of smoothies, coffee drinks, food items and more. It's a cafe that's offers a lot. Beautiful spacious with lots of seating. Great customer service. A must try when in the area. I'll be back again for sure.

Same great taste and ambience as a few years ago when we discovered this Manhattan Beach gem. Uriel and Lennon welcomed us back from Indiana with open arms and sat us on the cozy patio. Amy ordered a cappuccino which Lennon topped off with a signature European cocoa finish that made the drink even more special. We split the athlete's burrito and a side of pancakes and berries. Compliments to the chef. Thanks for making our spring break memory one to last a lifetime! Cheers!

I came here on a Sunday for lunch and there was no wait. Service was a bit slow, but friendly. There was only one bathroom which was dirty and old looking. Definitely did not match their nice blue interior. Berry Brekkie Smoothie (3/5): refreshing, but berries had a very light flavor, tasted watered down Spiced Chicken Wrap (4/5): changed the kale to arugula and definitely a good alternative, the arugula was fresh with the vinaigrette, chicken was pretty good

this place is so cute and the staff are always so kind. I love coming here to get my drinks and then going down to look at the water.

Our server was very attentive, kind, patient, and accommodating. For example, when my sister in law asked if there was a kid's menu for her children, the server politely stated that they didn't have one. However, he immediately picked up on the fact that these kids were highly fussy and picky eaters, and offered up buttered noodles, something that was not on the menu. The kids ended up loving this. I, on the other hand, was disappointed with most of the food I had. If I had to rate the food, it would be 3 stars. I ordered the MB Post Burger, which comes with a 1/2 pound grilled patty, American Cheese, applewood bacon, and honey chipotle aioli, between English muffin buns. I added a sunny side up egg to it for an extra few bucks. The burger was messy, and difficult to eat. Ended up having to eat it with a fork and knife. I expected the egg to be a bit runny, but it was cooked all the way through. All in all, it wasn't enjoyable to eat. The crispy fries were not any better. To me, they tasted overly fried. The only thing I thought was exceptional was the bacon cheddar buttermilk biscuit with the whipped honey butter. It was buttery and crispy goodness. This item alone is worth coming back to this restaurant. Overall, this place is a solid 4 star restaurant. If you're planning on visiting this place, I have to warn you that parking may be a real pain to find since the area is very popular with beach goers. Things were exacerbated over the weekend due to a volleyball tournament. Had to drive around for like 30 minutes to find parking.

There is also street parking, if needed. This place was clean, modern, and bright and the service was friendly and prompt. They filled up our water pitcher when we finished our water without us asking, and staff checked on us periodically. The menu was extensive with fun breakfast stuff not typical of other Thai or breakfast restaurants I've visited. A lot of rice porridges in their Thai breakfast section. I tried some of my husband's and it was nice and comforting...I'm Filipino American, not Thai, but I thought the flavor reminded me of Tinola (or a papaya ginger soup/stew). I can see how it's regarded as traditional comfort food. They also offered the usual pad thai, etc. but we didn't order that...I tried the Thai Omelette over rice, my daughter had a peanut butter/coconut/banana/honey toast, and my husband had one of the rice porridges (pork/mushroom). All of the food was tasty and flavorful. To finish off our meal, we had the matcha bingsu (shaved ice) topped with sweet red beans. (I have friends in Hawthorne who travel all the way to Hollywood for their favorite shaved ice...they will no longer need to travel far for some really good shaved ice dessert! I plan to introduce them to Toast & Thai!) For drinks, I ordered the Thai Black coffee and my husband had an Americano. I didn't realizethe Thai "black" coffee was sweetened. Usually, when I order coffee "black", it means no sugar, no cream. Thai black coffee is sweetened with sugar (not condensed milk as in Thai tea) but they don't add cream. There was no description of the Thai Black coffee on the online or in-person menu so I didn't realize it was sweetened. The coffee was flavorful, but too sweet for me to finish. I saved some to take home to add more coffee and dilute the sugar. It was tasty, just too sweet for my liking. Overall, my family enjoyed our meal and experience and will definitely return with friends! There are so many other items on their menu I'd love to try next time - Hainan Chicken Rice, Croffles (Croissant / Waffles), Khao Soi, Panang Curry...We look forward to our next visit!

I also asked for no peppers and to substitute onions on my main dish, but that modification was completely ignored. I didn't even want to ask again when it was at the table.
