Out of all the BMC locations in SGV, this is the worst one I have been too. Most BMC's are usually packed in the mornings, I can see why this one was empty. Terrible location. Getting in and out of this plaza is impossible. Both these cross streets are always packed. Parking lot is big but usually busy during the day. Service was decent, sandwiches were ready in under 10 minutes. Yelp check in get you a free select drink. Honey Green Tea was not overly sweet and refreshing. Cannot complain about free. They have the typical B2GO free deal. Their sandwiches are the most expensive I have seen, usually $3.50 each, they charge $3.85. They are also the smallest in size, the bread was less then 8 inches, usually they are at least 10-12 inches. Egg Roll - 65 cents - Crispy and the meat was good. Super oily though. Coats your tongue with oil. #2 Gio Thu - $3.85 - The meats were fine but they were all cut in different thickness. The pickled veggies were all cut in random sizes and I had some carrot chunks. I am used to everything being uniform and cut evenly. The bread itself tasted like day olds, not fresh at all. Very disappointing. I will never come back to this location. read more

First time at BMC! Food is decent and service is quick. FOOD: They have some killer deals. Buy two banh mi, get one free? Hell yes lol. The place isn't extraordinary, but it's perfect for when you want to get a quick bite. The taste was decent. It gets the job done/hits the craving, so I'm for it. This is my go to place for cheap pho and spring rolls. I love their deals which include $6 pho and rice plates between 3 to 6 PM. However, like many other reviews noted, this place does not take covid measures seriously. I came on a Saturday around 6 PM and ordered two pho specials. As they were making it, I noticed that the worker washing dishes in the back was not wear a mask, but shrugged it off since he was just washing dishes. However, since they have huge windows where the cook passes the take out food to the cashiers, I noticed that the main cook was not wearing a mask as well! He pulled it down to his neck area and never put it back on. He was scooping up all the soup into togo containers and then going to cook the noodles, all while not wearing a mask! I understand that it does get hot in the kitchen, but even before covid, many kitchen workers wore masks for food safety, let alone during covid times. read more

This is asian fast food. I have been wanting to try this chain location for months. You get your food really quick. Relatively healthy and low fat. I got dinner for 2 people w/milk teas for $16. I think Carls Jr and Jack in the Box costs more. They have banh mi buy 2 get 1 free (they cost $3.85 each now), Milk tea, vietnamese coffee, or che ba mau 2 for $3. They also have curry chicken, random teriyaki for the americans, pho hot pot (interesting) and bun (rice noodle). There are also quick pick me up dishes like nem nuong cuon (bbq pork meat ball egg roll in rice paper), and vegetarian options like tofu fake cha siu chow mein, and vegetarian rice paper roll. I ordered 2 bun dishes: No. 7 Special Bun Nem Nuong, Gia Gio (pork meat ball w/2 egg rolls, rice noodles w/carrots, cucumber, lettuce, mint leaf, roasted peanuts) No. 10 Bun Thit Nuong, Tom, Gia Gio (BBQ'd pork, 4 piece whole shrimp, 1 egg roll...and same veggies as above) I would say the No. 10 is much better. You get alot more meat for around $1 more. The shrimp are good. The egg rolls are mediocre. But remember, this place is cheap and fast. You can not get cheap, fast AND quality. This place is decent for its price. It's close by my house so I would come here if I want something cheap and good. Here are a few dishes I have tried: The bbq pork sandwich has a lot of flavor. I would recommend that if it's your first time. The pho ga(chicken noodle soup) gives a looot. It will definitely fill you up and it's really good if you dip the chicken in the sauce they give. The shrimp fried rice is okay. Personally, I feel like it lacks some flavor. This raisin pastry they sell is also very good and it's only $1!! You also get a free tea drink if you check in. I always get the green tea because I really like it. However, it's pretty sweet. More sweet than that bitter taste you usually get with green tea. read more

The restaurant is allowing customers to wait for their food inside the restaurant and order food without wearing a mask. I've been eating from the chain for quite a while now. The restaurants are always messy, but now it's noticeable and they are not following guidelines to protect their staff and customers. Ordered their Combo #A (entre and milk tea combo) and Seafood hot pot. Both items were about $8.95 and very filling. Had to add some more flavor to the seafood hot pot to make it nice and zesty but overall good flavor. My pork chop with rice was well flavored and slightly crispy. They also have take away specials for under $5 and buy 1 get 1 free milk teas and buy 2 get 1 free sandwiches except for the baguette sandwiches. I also saw a customer coming in for just plain baguette so they must be good. Worth a try. Side notes: Good for dining in with family, not a fancy place. I always come here for their rice rolls. They are so good and such a good portion for the price. I also liKe their banh mi with French bread. I would make sure to dine in for this because when the bread is fresh it just makes it that much better. Nice and warm crispy bread with some cold cuts mmmmm. Make sure you also get a crispy egg roll on the side! Love that this place is no frills and at such an inexpensive price. Their bun bo hue broth is also so tasty. I would say this place is definitely not on my top 10 places for Pho but if you are on a budget, it would be a good alternative. I would rate the food here a 2.7/5. Customer service is never good. Every single time I go, the lady with the pink hat or sometimes pink mask is always rude. I'm not sure if she is the manager or owner but she is always on the register. Also, she is very strict with condiments (do not expect her to give you more than one hot sauce or terayaki). I have been displeased on how her attitude is progressively getting worse every time I go so I have been going to the other economically friendly pho place on Peck and Forrest Grove. I loveee BMC Pho! So one of my biggest pet peeves when I eat pho is when the soup isn't hot enough to cook the mounds of veggies I like to put in. Not gonna lie... I've been teased for making pho salads. But anyways.... bmc pho offers pho hot pots! So this completely solves my cold soup problem! Their hot pots can come regular or spicy. If you order the spicy option the broth tends to taste more like a Bun Bo Hue broth! DELICIOUS!!! You can also what type of meat youu want inside... I believe the choices are seafood, beef, or tendon/tripe (a more intestinal mix?). I typically opt for the tendon/ intestines option... I'm so sorry for how I'm referring to it... doesn't sound enticing but I promise it's super yummy! The only problem I have with these hot pots is that they give you egg noodle instead of the Pho noodle.... so I usually just ignore the noodle because who wants egg noodle in their pho broth?! If you do... all power to you but it's not for me!! I will try asking for pho noodle next time I go! Also... this location has lots of yummy packaged Vietnamese dishes! But you have to come early! You can't beat buy 2 get 1 free Banh Mi or BOGO boba. The quality is debatable but the prices really can't be beaten. I find myself coming here often for their spring rolls. It's not the best taste and quality but you can't find any other place that's cheaper than $3.85! Service also isn't the best but they're fast and efficient. You can get an entire pot of Beef Stew with Noodles and Bread for $45. It's enough for my entire family of 10 and it actually tastes really good. The angriest and most disgusting ever. We ate in the hall today, the environment was very bad and the tables were all dirty, we looked and chose a less dirty table to sit down. After the meal food came up, we haven't started to eat, he saw a bowl lying on a worm, we show the waiter in the past, but the waiter's attitude is not good, no apology, we find he said he wanted to help us to cancel this one we don't eat, she said no, then gave us 10 dollar said can only cancel an order?? We had a bug in the restaurant and the waiter didn't take the initiative to solve the problem. Who wants to eat here? I don't know who would eat in a place this dirty with such disgusting waiters. An awesome place to go to if you're looking to spend less than $5-7 on food. They have a pretty big menu here, including pho, bun bo hue, beef curry and a bunch of other yummy items! My go-to is the #1 banh mi which is has ham and meatloaf in side. I also ordered extra pate and there was no extra charge. Been coming here for 4-5 years every other week. Always ordered a plain $4 pho noodle and $4 pho soup cause my kids are super picky. It isn't on their menu, but they allowed me to order it for years. I buy a bunch of other stuff as well, typically spend around $10-$50. I even still tips them depending on how rude and sour looking their cashiers are. Now the staff here wants to charge me for a regular priced pho with all the extra ingredients that my kids won't eat. I'll give my business elsewhere from now on. Compared to the other 3 locations i have gone to, this ranks 2nd. We ordered the shrimp soup and a combo B and both items were great. The bread for my sandwich was warm like if came just out the oven. Our food came out pretty fast which was excellent, seeing that we were starving. The soup was delicious but the shrimp looked a bit out of the ordinary. The location although was a bit dirty. Some tables were not cleaned yet but it was busy so i understand.
