It's very convenient since it is drive thru, although there is a bit of wait time, I didn't mind because it is brand new and I'm sure they are still getting situated. The food at this location is great as all the other locations. However, service is lacking. They have a hard time handling phone orders. Often, they will put you on hold and forget about you. They ran out of items like the delicious beef stew soup hours before closing. Today, 1/1/19 I placed the order over the phone 20min prior to getting to the restaurant. I walked in they told me they we the food was almost ready, as I waited the inside of the shop was a mess. The kitchen staff looked stressed and I could hear them talk about being out of items. Not to my surprise, they came to me and told me that they had run out of my order. The manager just gave me my money back. Did not offer to accommodate me or offer credit for a future purchase. Very poor customer service. I hope they can fix that, since their food is good. read more

First time here and I sat in front of kitchen area to observe the kitchen area and prep process. A few things wrong with the kitchen. They are slow, the guy preparing the food was also eating as he was chopping the food. The same man also picked up something from the floor that fell and after throwing item away in the trash he went back to food preparation using the same gloves and touching vegetables. Interaction with cashier was weird. I ordered a pudding milk tea and spring rolls. The cashier insisted I get two teas and one would be free. I declined the free drink because I was by myself and wasn't going to drink the other one. The total went from 11 dollars to 8. So how was the second tea free? 30 minutes later I got my stupid tea!!!! Service is horrible. Food is bland. read more

It can be a bit daunting to try new restaurants so very far from home, but BMC Pho put our minds at ease the moment we walked in. My husband and I each ordered the #1 (Special beef noodle soup) and were ready to pay extra for meatballs and brisket to add to the thinly sliced steak, but those are already included in the price. We were happy to see their condiment bar where you can pick your garnished and not feel bad that you didn't eat the massive amount of basil that came with your soup. I got only the lime wedge and sprouts I wanted. The quality of the soup was phenomenal! The cuts of meat were a perfect and generous complement to the broth and noodles. Went to BMC for the first time. We we're looking forward to enjoying a nice dinner. My hubby ordered the teriyaki chicken, the did not have any. Ok he opted for an order of egg rolls. I ordered a #1 bowl and a couple of drinks. Paid and went to sit down. All this time there were a couple of people talking loudly next to the cashier and appeared to be the owners. What threw me was the unsanitary practice the cashier was dispensing Chile paste into plastic cups and securing the lids while she was taking care of ringing up the food orders and not WASHING HER HANDS IN-BETWEEN TASKS. UGH- Some needs to check the safe Serv creditation. When our food came we we're truly disappointed broth was watery as others have posted in reviews. Dining area was small with many tables piled with dirty dishes. Egg roll we're really dark and the oil was past it prime. YUCK. The one male owner was on his Bluetooth again talking loudly. Really bad ambiance to enjoy a $40.00 dinner. Not returning, sadly was looking forward to this but next time We will head back to my favorite Pho 881 in Long Beach. Went there last night service was horrible. Had to ask staff to clean table. Waited 45 minutes for a meal. Food was cold when served. Requested to talk to a manager and he was very unsympathetic. One staff girl was talking on how she had a back ache with cashier rather than focusing on taking care of the big line. The back staff giggling on how they were trying to teach the manager spanish and making fun at him rather than getting up to speed with the long line. When i asked cashier about my food she seemed dumfounded. The restaurant was nicely decorated but really dirty as staff was not cleaning tables. Empty tables had dirty plates and food on floor. Disgusted absolutely disgusted. Do not go !!! I am so disgusted with this location. I ordered chicken teriyaki and pho. First the chicken was brown and old and didn't even smell like chicken and I didn't have any sauce. So I took it off and said "fine, I'll just eat the rice" three scoops in a long permed hair is in my rice! I threw out the whole effing plate! I right away tell my 7 year old son to be careful and as soon as I did he found TWO hairs in his soup.... We literally threw away my whole Order because the smell and taste and a total of 3 hairs in both of our plates! I couldn't even take a picture I was so grossed out! I got what I though was food poisoning but NO I got stomach bacteria which we know is due to not washing their hands or keeping food out. Either way I've bee.
