I went here today for lunch because I'm sick and was craving something easy on my stomach even though it's over 90 outside I went through the drive thru and ordered the wrong thing bc I got confused w the price and the number so when I left I realized it and went back and they were so nice to change it for me!!! I was disappointed in the beef pho. It was kind of bland but I spiced it up and it was delish. They are very cheap on the portion of beef you get in the soup. However the shrimp spring rolls were great. So overall it's a 3 out of 5 so far. Add more meat to the beef pho and much more flavor and spice and it will be a 5 out of 5. read more

Would never eat here again. The beef Pho had no flavor, the spring rolls were ok and the peanut sauce was watery. Not good at all.

I wish I could review the place better but it was just ok from the customer service to the food. I will come back again and hopefully edit or post another review. I strongly feel that the cashiers should know the product their selling. They're the first people customers will be interacting with and asking questions. In this case it was clear they didn't have any experience eating pho, banh mi or any Vietnamese food. I don't blame the cashiers, the owners/managers should have had them try everything they could on the menu to educate them on the menu prior to the opening. I don't think this should only apply to higher end places. People take a big interest in what they're eating these days. The food: I ordered two banh mi sandwiches, steak and pork. The steak was just ok, and the pork didn't have flavor and looked odd (like a chopped hot dog). Beverage: I did enjoy my lychee lemonade with his seeds and upgraded glass bottle. I will try the pho next. I do wish they had charbroiled pork like other Vietnamese restaurants I've been to. I hope with time their food and service improves because I would love to see them do well. I've been here about 4 times and I'm never disappointed. I call in my order and once I arrive it's always ready. I get the #1 with just brisket for the meat and the mango green tea. This place is my go to Pho place. read more

I'm not sure how this place get 4 stars on the reviews but the house special pho I got today was below average and it didn't fill me up at all. It a had a couple of thin slice meat and half a meat ball with a couple strands of tripe. Where's the brisket? Where's the other meaty items? It's good because if the distance I've had a lot better pho but it is good! Fried rice can use a lot more flavor to it. It's like white rice with a lot of cilantro it's not brown but when I altered it it's good. The strawberry raspberry mojito just take like bubble water I did not like it. The milk rose tea is delicious! That one I really liked. Would I return here yes I would because it's extremely close to my house since there's no Pho places in Pico. Food is good. I wouldn't say that cashier ilene is rude. I assume she needs to learn courtesy/customer service. I am not an inconsiderate customer. I may have arrived quite late but I know how to eat a bowl of hot pho quickly. She did not make me feel welcome. I felt like an inconvenience. She needs to know this. Management needs to know this. I was looking for a bahn no when I found this restaurant close to me. I went with the Pork BBQ Bahn Mi and it was very good. For the price paid I was able to get the Bahn mi and a boba drink for less than 6 dollars!! We got there and you can tell the workers were rushed or behind due to the their grand opening. Which is completely understandable! The first thing I ordered was boba drinks, the lady said they were out. Ok I understand, busy day right? So we order our food, we waited over half an hour. When we got our food honestly presentation was good, I rate it 6/10. As we're eating our food, other people got boba drinks! When I thought they said they didn't have any? Immigrants make America great. These kind folks were open on Thanksgiving. The food was hot and fresh and very flavorful. We ordered the Beef Fried Noodles and they kindly (at no charge) subbed the greens for carrots. We also ordered the BBQ Pork Banh Mi sandwich and it was very tasty on a fresh soft roll. We shared the special appetizer and that was more than enough for my family of 4. All under $30 with a Peach Tea Lemonade. Would definitely come back! read more

I absolutely LOVE BMC and was super excited when I found out Pico Rivera was finally getting one! I personally was getting tired of burritos, hamburgers, and tacos! I recommend the beef pho, spring rolls, and milk tea with boba! Can't go wrong with their buy one, get one free deal! I tried out this location the first week they opened and have a few issues to address. The menu is limited compared to other BMC's, the lady at the register didn't speak or understand English, & they we're understaffed. But with that being said, she did pull a guy from the back who spoke & understood English, so that issue was resolved. Though there was only 3 workers that day, they did have a help wanted sign posted - so that issue is being worked on as well. Hopefully they hire bilingual employees, English/Spanish is a must in Pico Rivera! Though the menu is limited, they were able to customize our order! Ordered the #5 which was the spicy beef noodle soup. The portion size was pretty good, but the noodles were not the pho noodles I am used to. The noodles were thicker and real slimy, but did not taste bad. They give a lot of meat inside the soup which is a plus. I also ordered a Thai tea with boba. With both I did get full so I guess i have no complaints. This place won't be my go to pho place, but maybe a place where If I really want soup and I'm in a rush or don't want to get down (they have a drive thru). read more

We haven't tried many things on the menu because we are really enjoying the "usual" that we order. A huge bowl of chicken noodle soup gets even tastier at $5. I routinely get the BBQ pork Banh Mi, which this restaurant does well. My wife is picky about her Thai tea, and she likes this one a lot! The food at this location is great as all the other locations. However, service is lacking. They have a hard time handling phone orders. Often, they will put you on hold and forget about you. They ran out of items like the delicious beef stew soup hours before closing. Today, 1/1/19 I placed the order over the phone 20min prior to getting to the restaurant. I walked in they told me they we the food was almost ready, as I waited the inside of the shop was a mess. The kitchen staff looked stressed and I could hear them talk about being out of items. Not to my surprise, they came to me and told me that they had run out of my order. The manager just gave me my money back. Did not offer to accommodate me or offer credit for a future purchase. Very poor customer service. I hope they can fix that, since their food is good. read more
