Such a great service responding to my call for a clogged kitchen sink. The manager Paul came with a helper took a look at the amount of dirty water in my sink and went right to work. He first had to empty about 4 buckets of dirty water and emptied them in my toilet. He snaked the drain thoroughly and cleared the drain. Most professional plumber, very cheerful professional I have ever met. He cleaned up my entire under sink. He went down to my basement too to analyze the plumbing system in our building. Absolutely horrible experience with them today!! We were scheduled to have them come out for an emergency from 2 to 4 and after 3 o'clock they sent me a text saying that their one technician got sick and that the best they could do was wait all the way to Monday at 12. They are supposed to be a 24 /7 operation including weekends but due to their own issues they still could not find an additional open time for me. I called them back and explained that I waited all day and all afternoon and it was imperative because my baby bottles etc. all require a working kitchen sink and the best they could do was tell me to try and call all weekend and see if any cancellations happen. Our community uses them almost exclusively and now I am wondering why. I would definitely not recommend them and now I am left all weekend with a major issue but they don't seem to care that they helped contribute to the fact that it is Friday night and not fixed nor on its way to getting fixed. Save yourself the time and headache and go to a reputable place please because this one is not. read more

I reached out to Bob and Marc's and they took care of everything right away! From start to finish they were professional, kind, and communicated extremely well. The plumber who came out was fantastic. During the free estimate he took the time to hear and discuss my bathroom design ideas and provide 3 different detailed estimates. We chose one and they got us on the schedule right away. Their office staff kept me updated and called the day before to confirm. On the day of the work, the plumber showed up on time, confirmed what we we're doing and got it done in timely manner. Even though there ended up being a extra work involved after opening up the drywall, he kept his original price estimate. That shows a level of honesty and class that's truly priceless when your contracting out work on your home. They also go above and beyond for the customer - on the day of the install I asked if he could put a ice line box in for me and he took care of that too. We've had a few sewer back ups and when we contracted Bob and Marc to come check it out, it was initially discovered that we would need to dig and re-line the sewer. However as we got deeper into the job, there was an unexpected issue with our sewer. I was very worried the price would go up. One of the original Bob and Marc owners came out to take a look. He was clearly more interested in doing the job right and keeping our business for the next 20 years rather than taking advantage of us at a vulnerable moment. I asked this company to come fix a drain line leak under my bathroom sink, and give me an estimate for replacing my water heater possibly as a separate job. Their plumber spent an hour trying to fix the drain leak, failed to fix the leak while actually making the leak much worse. Said that officially/legally he can't fix the leak because the way the sink/vanity was installed 50 years ago doesn't comply with current code. Plumber said they'll send me a quote later in the day for replacing the vanity in order to fix the leak. They charged me $110 for coming out and getting nothing done (while making things worse), and didn't bother to send me any quotes even though the plumber assured me they would. Their plumber left a mess in my bathroom! FYI a different plumbing company came afterwards, said they'll buy parts and fix the leak next day for under $200 read more

Have used Bob & Marc for several jobs over the years. Feel like I was badly taken advantage of, despite my history and loyalty to the company. The plumber took a very simple job of fixing a leak in a shower faucet and turned it into an experience where several visits were required (charges into the hundreds of dollars) and the job still wasn't completed. Requiring the customer to specify and purchase replacement parts without clear specification is no way to run a plumbing service. After four trips to Reback's, the job is still not finished. I've been without a shower for weeks. I've scheduled a different plumber to finally finish this simple job. Let the buyer beware. These guys are deleted from my contact list. read more

Have used Bob and Marc for years and have always appreciated their service. Then last Saturday night, and on a holiday weekend, our kitchen sinks backed up. I called and spoke to someone who said the office was closed, but that someone would call back on Monday. Not surprised, though not thrilled, I said "okay"...only to get a call-back from Shilo, who was on-call and got the message about our sink. Less than two hours later, while his family had to eat their hamburgers w/out him, we were back in business...and he was a nice guy and a pleasure to deal with. We had a pipe burst in our house on a Sunday. Danny at Bob & Marc immediately answered our call and he was at our house first thing Monday morning. He made sure we turned our water main off to avoid damage on Sunday and was able to locate the leak within minutes on Monday. My plumber that works in the South Bay recently retired and I contacted Bob & Marc to see if they could assist with a current and future clients. My appointment was confirmed for today between 3:30pm and 5pm and this was all done on behalf of our client. We were assured that the technician would be able to make this appointment and scheduled the client and another inspector (physical inspector) at the same time as well. We just received a call (at 2:45pm for our 3:30pm - 5pm appt window) stating that they would not be sending anyone out to inspect as promised. Needles to say, this is incredibly unprofessional. My husband called to get an appointment for someone to look into an issue with our AC and was told there was a $113 charge just to come out and give a quote for repair. When my husband expressed surprise that there was a charge just to come out, the woman on the phone said "Have a nice day." and hung up. We've done work with contractors who charge just to come out, and of course they always apply that charge to any work done, but that also encourages them to quote high since you're already paying them $113 just to look at it and will likely proceed rather than get a second opinion. We found them to be extremely rude and never got past the initial call to set up an appointment. read more

I've used their service multiple times before. but now, they've abandoned a job at my home without correcting their defective work and incomplete install of 2 master bath sinks. I have paid them in full. they helped plan the install by coming to my home several times to scope it out and told me where to go for the sinks. I confirmed with them the sinks I bought would work. they supplied the stoppers. the original work left water pooling and the sinks were left loose because the installer said he wasn't good at it and I should hire someone else to complete the job. I complained and they said they'd send their best guy out to fix this. He said when he looked at it that it was a complicated job, that he would figure it out and repair it the following week and by remainning loose the plumbing could break. I never heard from him again. I contact the company dozens of times with phone call, texts, emails and a letter. they have been promising for over 1/2 a year to fix it and have flaked out. 3 months ago I gave them an email to fix it by the next week or I'd hire another plumber and send them the bill. they begged me for another chance and said they'd fix it the next week. no one came and they didn't contact me. again, I called, texted and emailed them. they would say they'd take care of it, but did nothing. one week ago I notified them they were in breach of contract and I'd hire someone else if they didn't fix this in a week. you guessed it, they did nothing and never responded. now I have to hire someone to clean up their mess. I suspect they won't repay my expenses and will probably have to sue them. they don't care about their clients, reputation or the quality of work. stay away at all costs. read more

I HIGHLY recommend Bob & Marc Plumbers! This is the first time in many years I needed a plumber for a valve problem in bath. Not only was the staff very informative and professional but the repair man was really good. He informed me about details of the project and explained what was being done. I inspected the welds on the copper pipe and the install fit, all was spot on well done! The drywall needed to be cut open on the master suite side to access the guest bath from that wall and that was a major concern. Barb at the office contacted Dave and shared my concerns. Dave left a perfect cut out at a minimal size that I can now replace and screw back in with some mud. Perfect straight line cuts.... Who does this level of work? BOB & MARCS DOES! Now the cost. I was very pleased as I work in the home industry and know the value of labor and the needs of small business to stay relevant and cover bills. The quote I was given was very reasonable and I have 0 complaints. I know what poor quality work and being over charged look like, this WAS NOT THE CASE.
