    Caramel Mocha Cold Brew
    Care M.

I loved eating here! The place felt cozy & was not crowded when we came for breakfast. I ordered the Caramel Mocha Cold Brew with thr Farmer's Choice & Cinnamonroll French Toast. The French Toast was easy to slice & bite into, which I really enjoyed. I usually do not choose caramel or cold brew, but caramel mocha cold brew was delicious & not bitter. I definitely would come back to try other menu items!

Nice place and decor, some booths ripped and need some attention but clean place. Service was very slow but she was friendly and accurate. The food was very marginal, I asked for well done meats and got burnt sausage on 1 side and under on other side, ham and bacon not well done, the french toast same way, cooked on 1 side only. The B&G was good the gravy is brown but very tasty Prices about on par with every where else. Oh yeah there is a kids menu but not a senior menu? Just me but seems odd for Bob Evans

Let me start with the bad. The host/hostess needs some training. We went to breakfast on Sunday 6/5/22 and she could not manage the wait time and was totally overwhelmed. There were tons of tables and she had us waiting for 35 minutes. That is the only negative comment I will make about the restaurant. (This could also be a management/staffing issue. Now for the good the waitress we had was totally personable and on top of everything. She was quick to take our orders, our order came out correctly and our drinks never ran out. For a chain the food was excellent the biscuits and gravy were great and the skillet I ordered was a good amount of food and tasty.

Yummm! While my pic may not do it justice, it's Sausage Gravy & Biscuits!

The biscuits are amazing and worth the wait! I really liked my caramel mocha too...literally better than an Einstein's mocha. Overall delicious home-cooked meal that tastes like a grandma made it. The wait time can be long (20-30 min), but I understand why they wouldn't want to seat everyone at once if they only have a couple waitresses/waiters. Our waitress was very nice and friendly, and brought our meals out perfectly with no issues. Food came out super quick too.

Waiting time 40 mins. Chicken rubbery. Women's bathroom is horrible. Smells. Needs full revamp.

We travel a lot and this restaurant had one of the best atmospheres and customer service I've seen in a while. We had Sam(Samuel) as our sever, he checked on us often and was quick with our requests. It was completely packed yet very quiet and calm. My boyfriend and I ordered the Farmers Choice with bacon and hotcakes with sweet cream cold brews. It was amazing!

The food was ok however we had the worst service ever. The server in the next section did a good job at helping us though.

A Hidden Gem Worth Finding…read more The day after the World Cup Final, we needed to find a place for lunch near our Airbnb. Sometimes those unplanned stops turn into the best discoveries, and that's exactly what happened at The Glass Cat. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Berkley, our server. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home. She knew the menu well and wasn't shy about making recommendations, which always earns extra points in my book. She told us The Glass Cat is known for their biscuits. I laughed and admitted, "I'm really not a biscuit guy." She smiled and insisted I at least try a half order. Well... she was right that they were good, but I've officially confirmed I'm still just not a biscuit guy. Nothing against theirs--I think I'm simply impossible to impress when it comes to biscuits! Since I'm familiar with this part of the country, I couldn't pass up the Tenderloin Sandwich. It wasn't exactly like the classic pork tenderloin sandwiches I've had elsewhere, but it was absolutely delicious. The pork was tender, the toppings were fresh, and the fries were cooked exactly the way I like them--golden brown with a nice crisp on the outside. At Berkley's recommendation, my wife ordered the Egg, Cheese & Bacon Biscuit with hash browns. She wasn't kidding about the bacon--it was thick, smoky, and full of flavor. I stole a bite (as good husbands do), and it was a really tasty breakfast sandwich. The hash browns were another highlight--crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked. While we ate, we soaked in the local atmosphere. It was fun listening to everyone engage in a conversation. My wife and I discussed making our plans for the day and return trip for tomorrow. We made a quick stop at the nearby Price Chopper to grab a few things for the Airbnb. The Glass Cat Cafe may be a little off the beaten path, but that's often where you find the best local restaurants. Good food, generous portions, outstanding service, and a relaxed hometown vibe made this a memorable stop. I'd absolutely come back the next time I'm in the area. Chef T's Scorecard: * Food: 9/10 * ‍ Service: 10/10 (Thanks, Berkley!) * Value: 9/10 * Atmosphere: 8.5/10 Overall: Sometimes the best meals aren't found where everyone else is eating--they're found where the locals are. The Glass Cat Cafe is one of those places.

We ordered the country fried chicken with hash browns and the pumpkin pancakes, and every single thing on my plate was incredible. The hash browns were crispy perfection, the country fried chicken was flavorful and comforting, and the pumpkin pancakes were honestly some of the best I've had in a very long time. They were perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and just the right amount of sweet and pumpkin. On top of the amazing food, the service was fantastic. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. If you're looking for a great local breakfast spot, don't let the small hole in the wall appearance fool you. this place is absolutely worth the visit, we'll definitely be back!

I was pleasantly surprised to come across Blind Box, which offered a quick and casual experience which such friendly service from the cashier. It is located within a bigger furniture store, yet conveniently located near the entrance with open seating. I ordered the Podium Platter which was prime beef burnt ends and brisket, along with a side which we chose the cheesy corn bake. Absolutely delicious and all were so tender. The brisket was easily pulled apart and the brisket was just melt in your mouth. The cost of the plate was reasonable at $15, and was enough to share between me and my partner. I highly recommend for anyone nearby looking for a casual yet filling and solid food spot!

I ordered the three rib plate, which include included burnt ends, and smoked sausage. I also had mac & cheese and a cornbread muffin as a side. The ribs were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The burnt ends had a good smoke flavor and we're very tender, but we're cold. The sausage was also a bit cold. The mac & cheese was cold and so the consistency was gummy. The next day, it was so packed the line snaked around into the back hallway. It was oddly quiet inside, so maybe we caught it during a time when they were refreshing all the buffet food. Either way, it didn't take all that long but the kids were restless. I thought the food options were pretty solid! There was an omlette bar right when you walk in, and made to order. There was also cereal, pastries, turkey sausages, bacon, eggs, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, pancakes, and more. Kind of like a Hampton Inn style hotel breakfast. They also had juices and coffees. Definitely go dark roast, it's pretty alright whereas the light one tastes like hot water. The flow was wonky and all over the place, but it's Great Wolf Lodge; it's expected with kids of all ages running the place. I'd do this again. They're sort of pushing it on all price points lately, so I'd recommend they keep this around $10-$15 otherwise it's super easy to pop over and grab something for the family nearby as an easy alternative.

I thought that was nice even though they weren't busy. Until the end. Then I realized why.... The decor was beachy, adorable and fresh. They did have a nice "loaded" Land shark beer, it had a shot of their lime tequila in it. The food was literally, just ok. Burger and shrimp po boy. Fries are $3 extra to add on, they were also ok. We gave our server our card without looking at the itemized bill. I went to the restroom and walked by the hostess stand on the way back and saw a sign that said they add 20% gratuity to all bills. I checked our credit card receipts and the itemized bill had been removed. I asked the server if gratuity had already been added. He very hesitantly said yes. We then changed our signed receipt. So, just be aware. The service was decent, but not 50% tip worthy. It felt clear why they didn't have us go by hostess stand.
