Not sure what happened because last year I ordered Father's Day dinner here and it was a feast that lasted many days. This year however, $200 later, I was told the food was pretty scarce and maybe enough for another meal. Mind you he's elderly and his wife hardly eats so that's saying a lot. A three-course family dinner of turkey and stuffing with the fixings and desert, a steak tips dinner, family size chicken noodle soup and a pork dinner should have set them up at least for a few days. Desserts were missing, sides were missing and the portions of the sides they did get were more for a two year old. They apparently cut their portion sizes but not their prices! The "family dinner" wasn't enough to feed a family of two! Extremely disappointing. I don't live in Florida so I imagine trying to get a partial refund would be nearly impossible. Slow service dirty table filthy carpet dirty dishes on tables. After waitress wiped the food off the table onto the chairs we then wiped them off and sat down. It's 10am given Luke warm coffee and they are Out of orange juice at 10am???? Waited 25min for 2 pancakes ended up leaving before food came.. I put a review on a few days ago but it see that it's not here so.... I was excited to find a Bob Evans. It was actually open. How many of the restaurants are not open even in Ohio which is where Bob Evan's actually started. We went to this restaurant last Saturday on the 11th, around 8 PM. Restaurant was freezing cold absolutely freezing. I asked two workers if the heat was on. Whenever employees told me he didn't know. I order coffee to warm up. Coffee was cold and very cold p. My husband went to the men's room, came back and said that it was filthy and had urine on the floor. I didn't check the women's room. I wonderEd then what the kitchen would be like. Would it be clean? All right....cold coffee, the bathroom is filthy, the restaurant is freezing ...... what else is there to hear but say goodbye. No danger of us ever returning which is a sad because I love Bob Evan's, or did. read more

Completely under staffed for a Saturday morning. Only one cook so it took over 20 minutes to get my order because she was too busy with to go orders. Only one cashier/hostess so had a scarey commotion between dine in customers and to go order customers. Had to be subjected to screaming and cursing. Manager was not on site, cashier walked away so cook had to intervene. Cashier didn't know how to reset debit card reader and was told cash only so thought I'd have to wash dishes to pay for breakfast or wait until manager showed up. read more

As we were leaving a waitress on the other side of the counter said she was going to be there in just a minute. We spent nearly 30 minutes to get ignored by the entire staff. No just don't waste your time or money! The Mac n cheese is basic fake watery Mac. The mashed potatoes and chicken gravy were the only decent thing. The cheeseburger... goodness I wish I took a picture I Bit into the Burger and looked in horror at the meat. It's like that mystery meat in middle school that you have no idea what it is that was the burger!! Trash! The baked potatoes soup is a JOKE! The potatoes were half raw still and that's all the cup was filled with. Barely any broth but all potatoes, almost like a casserole. I've been ordering food online from this establishment for years now and I've never had a bad experience until recently. I ordered three entrees the other night, a steak combo, hamburger combo, and a kids meal. When cutting into the steak, it was close to raw although I specifically requested well-done. The hamburger had no toppings, although I paid extra. The lack of effort in the those two entrees were ridiculous and disappointing for that establishment. I ordered two meals at Bob Evans the day after Christmas. there were few customers in the restaurant. The turkey was moist and good but the pot roast was probably made before xmas and heated up days later. The large sliced carrots were a poor choice for two people who don't like carrots. It would be better to make them candied carrots. The mashed potatoes were a familiar brand of potatoe flakes that I don't like. Meals were $14.00 each and, except for the turkey, uneatable. There was 1 table with the waitress talking up a storm with the customers who were finished eating. She was cleaning the table across from them. On the other side there were 2 tables with customers there also the waitress was telling them how she home schooled her son. Meanwhile no one even acknowledged us. Said anything. After approx 10 -12 min. We knew we were forgotten. My husband stood up ... no one said a word... next 5 min. Went by still nothing. We got up took the menus to the cashier and said thank you for ignoring us and left!! This was not a case where they didn't have staff. They just were too involved with their own conversations. I went to bob evans for at least 18 years after they opened back up after being shut down due to the Covid-19 problem, we all went there for breakfast I was busy looking at menu we ordered and about 10 minutes into our breakfast I noticed this filthy guy who looked like a street bump very dirty handling our dam food then it got me looking around the place was fairly clean but the carpet was filthy bad. I spoke with some person who supposed to be the manager and I told him he had 3 months to get this place cleaner than when it was built and I said I would never go back to this shit whole ever period I paid the 47.00 bill and I never return. I did receive a generic "Sorry for that" Well I'll have to scratch this off my places to eat Update: showed the manager the picture of my silverware and asked her "did you know about this" and her response was "no I didn't." No apology or anything. I wasn't looking for a freebie, but to treat this as a training opportunity for her to take back to her staff. Upon ringing up the check, the cashier asked me how was my experience and I gave her the rundown and told her I won't be coming back. Her response to me was a cold stare and "here's your card back" again no apology, or anything else from this establishment. Tasty. Nice waitress (down home southern friendliness). I've never had a bad meal at any of the Bob Evans. The only drawback to Bob Evans' menu is there's no low-carb choices. The closest I got was a pot roast, but then there's the carbs in the delicious mashed potato, gravy and side of bread. The meal was not very good, and would've been sent back had I ordered the meal in the restaurant. This is not the first time I've been disappointed with a meal from this Bob Evans. This is a staple of Ohio (Go Bucks) and I love that it is here in Florida. The food is always good no complaints there. The only negative is the location on 19 in Port Richey they need to deep clean the carpets or something because it smells horrible inside like sweaty dirty feet. I get takeout from here quite often and every time it's wrong. But today not only did they forget stuff but they did something that really irritates me. Why would you do that?? Why would you put all the sides dishes together in one area? With no separators? The macaroni and cheese is covered in gravy. Disgusting. I had the loaded potato soup, slow roasted turkey and bacon which I didn't really care for. The soup was good but the meat on the sandwich was real fatty and not easy to chew. Every time I come to this restaurant, I am given great service. The employees smile as you enter and welcome you. Nice!!! I order to-go a few times and my meal is always done right and still hot and delicious when I get home. I have had the meatloaf before of which seems filled with salt and not delicious at all. I was disappointed on this choice. My favorite here is the pot roast. Very good!! Sometimes they have specials where you can get a three course dinner etc. This place is at a reasonable price too! Please check their menu for pricing. I also tried the pot roast sandwich with fries and it traveled well. I will suggest a side of gravy just to add to the sandwich as it may be a little dry but still tender and oh so yummy.
