First was seated after the people that came in 5 minutes after us but then was left seated for 10 minutes without so much as an acknowledgement. As we were leaving a waitress on the other side of the counter said she was going to be there in just a minute. We spent nearly 30 minutes to get ignored by the entire staff. Service is sooo important and we have been tipping 30% right now because of covid so I'm not spending my money at a place that doesn't give a hoot about the their customers. Waste of time and we're still hungry!

The burger had good flavor, but was overcooked , and obviously a frozen pattie. I was disappointed. My wife's grilled Turkey sandwich came wih a "tomato mayo" dressing and onions, not in the description, when it came back, not grilled and more onions. Very disappointed . Chicken soup was excellent .

I've been ordering food online from this establishment for years now and I've never had a bad experience until recently. I ordered three entrees the other night, a steak combo, hamburger combo, and a kids meal. When cutting into the steak, it was close to raw although I specifically requested well-done. The hamburger had no toppings, although I paid extra. The lack of effort in the those two entrees were ridiculous and disappointing for that establishment. I'm certain to not order from here again.

This was my spoon after I licked it from stirring my coffee!

The…read moreinterior is elegant, with views of a small harbor, and on past visits we've even seen dolphins. It's a large space with a modern bar, booths along the windows, tables scattered throughout, and two event rooms on either end of the main dining room. Sara greeted us promptly, as usual with a smile, and was attentive without hovering. I had a Buffalo Trace Manhattan, she had an Angry Orchard, and my small glass came with enough ice to keep it in the freezer for the next shift. I had the blackened shrimp tacos. Tasty, with a little tang, but this is where the pricing starts to raise an eyebrow. They were $17 for 2, and most other places give you 3 for $16 or less, usually with sides too. She had the steak quesadilla at $18, which also felt a little steep. Most others are $14 or less. Still, she enjoyed it, so there's that. For once, there was no 3% credit card upcharge, but at these prices, you have to figure it's already built in somewhere. The food was good overall, though I think the meal came in about $10 high. I also hear the place is for sale. Good food, service, ambiance, and view. All pretty common on the Gulf of America -- which is kind of the point, I guess. They've got a few easy, not-too-expensive fixes, so I'll leave it to you to be the judge.

It was easily accessible by the birthday girl who was using her walker. Service was wonderful! Sarah was prompt with bringing our drinks after we ordered them, and keeping those drinks full. She brought us our food orders as soon as they were ready. Everything was at the proper temperature and delicious. Our party ordered salmon, fried shrimp, fish & chips and Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Our meals were filling, and what we couldn't eat came home with us! We are definitely returning for the fried shrimp!! We brought cake which Sarah expertly delivered to the table once we were done with dinner. Only one candle was not lit when she placed it in front of the birthday girl. But that was okay! She blew out the others to get her wish. I'm betting that wish was to return here. Everything was memorable and enjoyable!!

Sat at the bar, because we like the vibe there better. Super impressed with the bartender. Not only made great martinis, she's a certified sommelier and had great recommendations for wine pairing with food. Started off with some raw oysters. Prepared properly (separated from the bottom shell). Fresh and tasty. Next was the appetizer special, seafood mix salad on crispy potato bars. Interesting and tasty. Finally, we had the grilled octopus. Seriously some of the best I had. Nice and tender and grilled just right. Service was outstanding and attentive. Atmosphere was lively, without being noisy. Met a nice couple that go there every week for date night. It will be in our regular rotation of places to go.

We asked her several questions and she knew the answers to everything. We ended up ordering an app and an entree each. She warned us that the oysters were hand shucked and might take a bit longer. No problem. We didn't mind when they came out. After 30 minutes, my husband's clam chowder finally arrived. It was delicious, but there was no reason for a cup of chowder to take 30 minutes. Chowder has to be made in advance. Thirty minutes after that, so an hour after we originally ordered, someone (the owner? another server? I don't know who.) said our food would be up soon. Our original server then came over to apologize and say that they hadn't even started our oysters, crab legs, or the Grouper platter at all. An hour later and they hadn't even started cooking?! It wasn't even that crowded. Surely shucking a dozen oysters doesn't take an hour?! We asked our server to cancel everything. We paid for the chowder, gave her a very generous tip for her trouble, and left. I cannot tell you how disappointed I was to have to leave hungry. Get it together Crab Shack! That's ridiculous.
