I ordered the sausage egg and cheese biscuit sandwich along with a bacon egg and cheese biscuit sandwich. It came with a side of hash browns and the hash brown tasted pitiful it tasted almost raw. The place overall didn't look too bad they had a little shop looking thing at the front and it was kinda cute. The service was also pretty good our waitress was pretty nice and she was training someone so that was pretty cool to watch I guess. Overall Bob Evans is not terrible but I wouldn't eat there again voluntarily. read more

I ordered dinner for Christmas the Farmhouse Feast for 4 which I have had at other Christmas gathering. But after getting it home on Christmas Eve and unpacking the box I was shocked by what they call a dinner for 4. There was a pint of Mash potatoes, a pint of stuffin, a pint of Green Beans and a pint of Corn and the Turkey was pressed not cut off of the Turke. This was not the same quality as I had enjoyed in the past. I called to question why ther servings were so small I was told by the Manager that those were Bob Evans portions for 4 a portion of Mash Potatoes is one cup there was only a little over 2 cups in the containe. I won't ever buy this again or eat there again again from the reviews I've read they have gone down hill. read more

My Lady friends and I lunch here at least once a month. Always good service, decent prices and good wholesome food with good variety.

While down in Spring Hill for an appointment we decided to stop into their Bob Evans for lunch. I have to admit that we haven't visited a Bob Evans in such a long time - our county doesn't have one but it would definitely be a welcome addition to our growing community. The outside was clean but plain with just a bench for sitting. I think because they were in a shopping plaza setting. Inside it was divided into two separate areas. One side had a big glass case which held their desserts and had their registers on top, a bar for eating at and behind all that is their ovens and kitchen. We were seated on the other side of the restaurant at a nice table looking out the big panel of windows. Their menu is vast but take into consideration they're open from 7AM to 9PM seven days a week. We decided to order from their dinner menu because we were starving but you can order breakfast anytime of the day. For our appetizer we decided to try their Rancher Crispy Potatoes. It's one of their new menu items and it was delicious. Our waitress Jessi brought it not long after serving us our unsweetened ice teas which by the way were served in canning Jars! The Rancher Crispy Potatoes were Crispy baby potatoes topped with a good amount of shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled crispy bacon that were drizzled with a ranch dressing and sprinkled with green onion bits! So satisfying that we would definitely order them again. We both ordered the Slow Roasted Turkey and Dressing because it looked so scrumptious on the menu and I have to say it did not disappoint! Slow roasted Turkey slices over a good portion of their dressing with turkey gravy spooned over top. Served with two sides. I had their brown sugar glazed carrots and their macaroni and cheese and a biscuit on the side. We had a choice of either a biscuit or dinner roll. I absolutely enjoyed my meal. My hubby who incidentally ordered the same exact sides also enjoyed his meal. Our server Jessi was excellent- friendly and attentive to our needs without being intrusive. All in all a great dining experience and I can't wait to go back and try some more of their meals! read more

I always check the bad reviews cause if everyone is happy I probably will be as well. I didn't give 1 star cause there were so many it would get lost in the shuffle. My experience there at Spring Hill food and service wise has not been bad. Not always great but not horrible. I just wanted to let everyone know what's really great about the place is it's pet friendly....yeah... bring your pet out to eat with you. I don't know to many restaurants where you can bring your dog in to eat with you. The only other one I know of is Golden Corral. I love my dogs...but I don't bring them to restaurants with me. Don't worry about bugs, hair, or licking in places you can't reach....it's a doggie thing. Some people are much worse.... read more

I hadn't been to a Bob Evans since leaving Kentucky. My girlfriend dragged me to the one on Cortez and I'm in love with their food. Their biscuits are incredible, and everything else is good too. The restaurant is very clean and the hostesses are excellent. So far, she has dragged me there four times! read more

BRRRR! Stop in for breakfast this rainy morning, and the restaurant was absolutely FREEZING! Although the food and service were fine, the freezing temperature made the whole experience less than desirable. I would suggest a warm jacket or sweat shirt. And I'm from Vermont. read more

Every Saturday my husband and son have a breakfast tradition to come to Bob Evans. It started as a once in a while thing but, they loved the food so much, it became a habit. The original Farmers Choice is a delight because it gives you a plethora of tastes to enjoy, from sweet to savoury. You get eggs cooked in the way you like the most, your choice of breakfast meat, starch's (hash browns or home fries) and finally you can choose between hot cakes, french toast or crepes! The service is always very personal in that the servers know my family members by name and are always there to greet us with a smile. If you want to enjoy a filling breakfast and skip the dishes, Bob Evans should come to mind. My family and I give it 5 stars :) read more

My husband and I visited this Bob Evans location for the first time on January 3, 2024. It was dinner time. We were seated right away. There were only 2 servers for the entire restaurant but they were amazing. I ordered the biscuits and gravy as well as the half salad and soup (the new ranchers salad and the potato soup). All of the food was hot, delicious, and amazing. Love the new ranchers salad. Can't wait to go back and get a full sized one!! Our server was Grace. She was very friendly and quick. She was attentive to the point that you would have thought we were her only customers. Oh, and did I mention the smell of freshly baked banana nut bread filled the air. Made me feel like I was at my mom's house. (we purchased a loaf to take home - so yummy) This was an exceptional experience that I cannot wait to repeat!! Salad was very bland.Burger was over cooked and was missing mushrooms.Rolls were supposed to come with the meal and it took an hour to get them.Chicken was over cooked as well.When I asked to get my party's meals fixed because they weren't to our liking the waitress said "don't shoot the Messenger" while me continued to wait another hour.Very understaffed and quite rude.Will not be returning. read more

Bob Evans is a famous name. I've known him to be the sausage link guy. I visited for breakfast while visiting the Brooksville area. Customer Service very typical of the south. The layout reminded me of Denny's with a country setting. The menu features an extensive plethora of fresh omlettes, crepes, pancake, egg and waffle platters. I went with friends and everyone ordered something different. Bob's praises them self on local fresh produce. I opted for the farmers omlette. Fresh spinach, portabella mushrooms, cheddar, tomatoes and scallion. Delicious. Served with toast or biscuits and hash browns. The hash browns were fresh roasted potatoes. Kids eat for $2.99 and the breakfast is served with fruit, eggs, pancakes and a choice of meat. This was more cost effective than Ihop. Healthier also. The prices here are great. Bob Evans used to be my favorite restaurant but they have made dramatic changes and I will not eat their again. The last time I did I ordered Salisbury steak and it was nothing more than what looked to be a flat hamburger patty you know like you get in the grocery store freezer ready made patties. The gravy they topped it with was awful. And since I got the meal it came with desert. That was the biggest disappointment. I wish I would have taken pictures. In the past I used to get the Peanut butter pie. Now their peanut butter pie has a 1/2 inch bottom layer of peanut butter filling and topped off with nothing but whipped cream. It used to be so good but it is a joke now. I was so disgusted I wrote the corporate office and that was probably 6 months ago and they have not responded to my concern read more

Bob Evans, no matter which one you go to, is just so mediocre. The waitress was nice and attentive enough and to be fair the food came out fast. But the western omelet was ...just ok...I could make better myself but I have to be in this area very early so I didn't have time to make it myself. So I went there for breakfast today with my daughter and granddaughter. I ordered the steak tip omelet. My granddaughter ordered an breakfast but wanted to substitute fruit for the eggs. We were told there would be an upcharge for the fruit. It consisted of paper thin slices of cantelope. Upon receiving my meal, the inside of the omelet was cold and full of grease. I asked for a replacement that came back with 4 pieces of steak tip raw. My granddaugher's pancakes were raw in the middle as well. I asked the waitress to take my meal off the bill as now I did not want anything. She immediately sent the manager over who apologized and offered us a free loaf of banana bread as well. We were all thinking how nice until we got home and saw that the seal was broken on the container and the sell by date was 4-17-24. What the heck. We will not be back there. This is a really GOOD restaurant. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the food is always good. This is also a "Test Store", where menu additions and deletions are sampled, and frequently removed or added to the permanent menu. Recently, Bob Evans "Corp" decided to permanently remove the "Raspberry Vinaigrette" from the menu, and we can't express our disappointment enough. In the past, we have designated this facility as a weekly dinner stop, simply because my wife LOVES the Cranberry, Pecan, Chicken Salad, with the Raspberry Vinaigrette. Tuesday she disappointedly ate FISH, because the R.V. is GONE. Our designated facility must do has now ended, and we will be frequenting Perkins P.H. instead. My wife and I stopped for lunch. I had the Southwestern Avocado Omelet and she had the Turkey Sandwich w/ FF. We enjoyed both very much. The omelet had plenty of avocado and sausage and the sauce was very light. The turkey was pilled high with just the right amount of mayo. The only problem I had was when I ordered a Diet Coke she brought a Diet Pepsi. To a Coke drinker this is sacrilege. This restaurant only sells Pepsi. I used to love Bob Evans as recently as a couple of months ago and I've gotten pick up orders from there just a few weeks ago no complaints at all the food was good the service was good people Friendly. I went in last evening with my son and two grandchildren first off the coffee was cold, they took forever to come and get our order, my shrimp was delicious but I did not get my bread the kids ordered the fancy pancakes with the chocolate syrup and the whip cream no whip cream. The worst was my sons meal he got a breakfast meal and most of it was un edible he spoke to the manager they said they would comp his meal but we don't think they did. I posted about it on Facebook and several people commented that they have had bad service and bad food lately to. Sorry to see this happen to a place I really liked. read more

Really hate to have to leave this review but after 3 times now, the management needs to 1. Be aware that this has happened 3 times to me and my party so it is a real problem and 2. The public should be made aware via Yelp so they can better prepare before they come and spend there money. Been here 3 times now and it doesn't improve, only gets worse. The staff is friendly enough when you walk in but the problem begins while waiting for a server and the experience does not improve. The kitchen is this locations largest problem. I have eaten and other Bob Evans locations that serve the same food, but this location in particular, can not prepare a decent meal. I ordered the 3 egg breakfast. I got a measly portion of stale potatoes and terrible tasting bacon and was shorted an egg that was brought after the meal was over. The only decent food item was the toast because the kitchen did not have to make it. The previous visit (before this time and the most insulting), I ordered a sandwich which I customized slightly (I asked for the marble rye bread and a different cheese) and the kitchen told our waitress to come tell me that "they were upset they had to prepare it this way and they normally do not do this but will make an exception 'this' time"......wow. The very first visit, was a combination of the the 2 following visits- we waited 15 minutes for a server and 45 minutes for the mediocre food. The only reason we have wandered in here these 3 times in a whole year is because on a Saturday morning, this place is the most conveniently located. After this visit, I can not and will not give this Bob Evans location another chance. Having multiple problems 3 times on every visit is unacceptable. read more

Bob evens restaurant My family and I went to the Bob Evans in Brooksville Florida. We got seated right away and our order was taken pretty quickly. When the food arrived it was very disappointing. My daughter ordered a pot roast hash. It did not have hardly any hash in it the group the cheese that was on top wasn't even melted. My husband had the chicken tenders three little pieces of chicken. I had ordered a basic breakfast with two eggs over easy onions in my hashbrowns and crispy bacon none of which came to my my liking. The hash brown look like one big chunk of burnt potato and the onions were burnt also. Not to mention the toast. It had a yellow coloring on the toast which definitely did not look like butter. And my eggs were not exactly over easy they were almost dead so to speak. I had to go find a manager to come and look at my meal. They said they would remake it I told him I did not want the bacon because it was soggy and greasy and so was everything else that came on my plate. They did not remove the bacon that came with the original order . But I will definitely never go back there and I really think the Board of Health should come and look at some issues because the bathrooms are atrocious and disgusting. How can you expect the servers to clean their hands properly in a filthy bathroom. read more
