OMG, My daughter and her friends just finished volunteering. They wanted boba. Today was extremely hot! Our car temp said it was 107. Extremely hot inside! I have asthma... came to a point I couldn't breathe well! Felt like we walked into a oven. Must have been 10 degrees hotter inside! They have 2 big fans running. Fans had lots of lint! And ceiling fans. Did nothing but move hot air around! The guy there wasn't to personable. And the lady was worse! Rude!!! But, guess can't complain it was blazing hot inside. We said it was so the customers don't linger inside. A few people walked in then straight out! Our drinks, okay... We ordered, thai tea, watermelon and mango. It wasn't to refreshing. Thai tea wasn't as cold. Most of our ice was melted and watered our drinks down. Disappointed... Went there cause of the great reviews! read more

The milk tastes rotten. I got a regular milk tea and it tasted like the milk had curdled. I asked for a new one and the new one tasted the same. I threw it away. Very weird. I get boba about once a week but this is the first time trying it at this shop. I won't be back. read more

I don't know why people are tripping about the pudding. Most boba places use a flavored agar that they call pudding and it's good. This place uses actual pudding, like Jell-O pudding and it has a little salt and it's why I'll be going back. So good! And they have free wifi. read more

This is a REALLY good boba place. Like yes. Their Thai Tea is a little more unsweetened than regular Thai Tea, but it tastes a lot better, and you can actually taste the tea in it. I HIGHLY recommend a 50/50 Taro and Coffee Milk Tea, it is coffee-y, nutty, and literally the most amazing thing ever! read more

Ive always avoided this place because it is in Burbank, and i figured because its in Burbank, they probably do not use Fresh Fruits for the smoothies and stick to concentrated syrups. First thing I noticed is the messy front counter, red bins on left over flowing with junk near the cashier. I had a seat and then noticed the dust on lamps above the register. Standard boba place, nothing fancy. Boba balls were overcooked for my taste, and it seems like they store them in water, instead of syrup, so the flavor of the drink itself is a bit diluted. Decent boba and I think its the only one in the area so it's good enough to satisfy any cravings. For $3.50, I got the almond milk tea with boba. The milk tea was good, slightly powdery. I didn't really care for the actually boba here since it was bland and didn't have it's own sweetness. To solve the boba dilemma, I suggest getting a slush because it has a nice texture when it's slightly frozen and then dissolves in your mouth. The peach flavor is great! read more

To the owner of this place: you have a roach infestation problem. Let the public know how you have addressed it. You are putting the public health at risk. In bright light two 3" large roaches scurried on the ground and wall as we ordered. God knows what they do when the lights are off and how many more there are, if we can see them like that. We got our money back but they seemed confused that we would ask for a refund, and did not apologize for the bugs. A proper place would have offered a refund right when they were spotted, but they waited for us to ask for one, and even when we asked for a refund they were hesitant to refund us, should have been immediate. This place is a little hole in the wall kind of business. Prices are a bit high and they have different prices for cash or card purchases. The quality of the teas are not good at all. I bought one tonight and it went bad within minutes of purchasing it. I couldn't go back to the store to request a refund because I was already driving far. I'm very familiar with quality teas and tea shops and this by far is the worst I've seen. I don't recommend this place at all. Don't waste your money and time. Came here just to hang out and talk with some friends. The boba is about average when it comes to flavor and quality. They didn't have egg pudding the time I went so that was a little disappointing. This spot is loud like a Jamba Juice so you have to talk louder to have regular conversations. They don't have to many games to play but that's ok cause it's not extremely necessary. First time here na Friday night. It seemed lively and had a line formed at the register so I assumed it must be good. Wrong! I ordered the small coconut milk tea no boba which did not taste anything like coconut.It had more ice than milk tea. I took 4 sips and that was it! That was an expensive small milk tea. My husband got the honeydew with boba and he said it tasted gritty. My cup also had some residue when I finished it. I have never seen that on any other bobas I have tasted. We did not enjoy our drinks and are not coming back. We paid $9.50 for two drinks. read more

Well, I know the Boba craze has died down and I haven't been there in a while, but from past experiences (which I've had plenty) the service is always great & the taro boba slush is superb! I've been to others, and the way they make their drinks will not disappoint. It does NOT have that gunk of powder/taste while you're drinking it up...it's smooth and satisfying :) One suggestion: the place needs some revamping! This spot is my usual time killer before seeing a movie at the AMC 16 Theater, which is also a benefit because they are open late enough for night movies. Stool seating is available accompanied by a relaxed atmosphere. Whenever I am in Burbank I go here. it is one of my favorite places. The coconut milk tea is amazing!! I give it a 5 just for the beverages. The place is pretty cool, it has art all over the walls of people who have drawn boba pictures over the years. Some of it is pretty amazing. The atmosphere is more that of a cool little cafe / coffee shop, very local. It is nothing special, just a place to relax and hang out and drink some boba! I love this place! read more

Alright, I nearly peed my pants when I found out there was a boba place down the street from home since LA seems to lack a boba scene. Now, this is also the first (of dozens) of boba places I've been to where the workers are white, this in itself is something worth experiencing. I gave it 3 stars, however, because the tea is terrible. The slush/coffee/milk teas are pretty good (pre mixed variety) but the brewed green tea has been bitter and the boba soft. I can't help but assume this has something to do with workers who don't really understand the art of making real tea, I really don't know what the asian version of gringo is, but that has to be it. The funky atmosphere (mostly high school aged kids), hand drawn comics everywhere, free wifi and unique shop makes up for the so-so drinks. read more

I really didn't think it was possible to mess up boba. I mean after all, the concept/idea seems very simple. With that said, it is absolutely one of my favorite refreshments - especially on a warm day. The reason I am giving this place a whopping 1-star is due to the really long piece of hair that seemed to never end as I pulled it out of my mouth. It really was a painful experience. With bubble tea, you really have to create a strong vacuum to suck the air out of the straw and have these heavy tapioca balls go through the straw. However, the last thing you'd expect is a piece of hair. I mean, how?! So having this thing stuck in your mouth and as you pull it out, it never ended. It reminded me of how those clowns would have those rollups in their mouths, playing a trick for the kids as the rollup seemed to not have an ending point. In the end, I found the one time I disliked boba. I guess the trick's on me, I'm the loco for getting the Boba Loca. Outside the food: The store is found within a strip in Burbank full of life. There is a movie theater nearby, so expect a ton of foot traffic going up and down the sidewalk of the street. Parking in front of the place is available, but you'll be one of the lucky ones if you due end up pulling into one of these spots. They are 90 minute limit parking spots - FYI. My favorite boba spot in LA. The Chai Milk Tea with Boba is my go to drink here. They don't really have an A/C, but they have a couple of big fans blowing through the waiting area. If you have a pen or marker, you can graffiti on their tables. I'm not sure if it's allowed but every rock and table in that place is marked on. Seems kinda cool in my opinion. read more

The watermelon slush was *clearly* flavored with a very sweet, artificial watermelon flavor or syrup, and it ruined the drink; the sweetness was so overpowering that I couldn't drink much of it. (For those who think it's from the lychee jelly - I've had the same type of order with the lychee jelly before and the sweetness never was this strong. The ingredients aren't that complicated). I got a honeydew slush..but it was not icy. There were hard pieces of something each time I took a sip. Maybe it wasn't mixed or blended well? The honeydew flavor was good but it tasted more like a honeydew milk tea than a slushy icy drink.
