CHAGEE Modern Teahouse is a modern Chinese tea concept that focuses on tea-forward drinks rather…read morethan the typical overly sweet bubble tea experience. We walked into a polished, contemporary space with a premium feel, the kind of place that feels closer to a specialty tea café than a traditional boba shop. The branding, presentation, and overall atmosphere are a big part of the appeal, creating a space that feels designed for both grabbing a drink and hanging out. The interior is clean and intentional, with a design that elevates the experience beyond a typical tea stop. The biggest strength of CHAGEE is the tea quality. The drinks tend to highlight the actual tea flavor, which makes them stand out from many milk tea shops that rely heavily on sugar or toppings. The jasmine-based drinks are a good example, with a fragrant floral profile that comes through clearly without being perfumed. The menu has a nice balance between classic milk teas and more unique tea creations. The drinks are generally less sweet and more focused on the tea itself, so it works well for anyone who wants something different from standard boba. The downside is that the drinks can feel a little expensive compared to other tea shops, especially since most of the appeal comes from the quality of the tea rather than large portions or lots of toppings. The portions are reasonable, but the cost reflects the premium positioning of the brand. The main issue with CHAGEE is consistency and wait times. Some locations can get extremely crowded, and the popularity sometimes creates long lines that make the experience less convenient. The ordering process is usually organized, but the wait can be difficult to justify when the final drink is more of a solid tea experience rather than something completely unique. Service is generally friendly, and the staff seem well trained despite the busy environment. They handle the flow efficiently, but the volume can test the operation's capacity. CHAGEE feels like a premium tea shop aimed at people who appreciate the flavor of tea itself. It is not necessarily the place to go if you want a dessert-like boba drink loaded with toppings, but it is a good option for jasmine tea, oolong, and more refined milk tea flavors. The atmosphere and presentation add to the experience, though the long waits and higher prices may determine whether it becomes a regular stop or just a place to try once. For what it does, it executes the concept well, offering a drink that feels more like a tea experience than a sugary treat.

I wanted to give Chagee a try because of all the hype, but overall, I found it just okay…read more One of my biggest frustrations was that some drinks don't allow you to customize the ice level or sweetness, which is something I generally expect from a tea or boba shop. Being able to adjust a drink to your personal preference is a big part of the experience for me. The store itself is beautiful and clearly designed with social media in mind. It's stylish, modern, and definitely very Instagram-friendly. However, it felt like the focus was more on the branding and aesthetics than on the tea itself. The drinks were decent, but nothing particularly memorable. If you're looking for a trendy spot to take photos or see what the buzz is about, it might be worth a visit. But if you're a serious tea drinker or looking for what I'd consider a true boba tea shop experience, I probably wouldn't recommend it as my first choice.

I do not usually make the drive out to K-Town, but since tickets were only $10.20 per person, we figured it would be worth checking out. Even though I don't really know much about Invincible, I still had a lot of fun. The space is completely transformed with different scenes from the show and there are plenty of photo ops whether you're a fan or just tagging along like I was. It definitely felt more immersive than I expected. The food and drinks are on the pricey side, so we shared a few items instead of each ordering our own: We tried the Monster Girl Matcha, which came in one of the collectible bottles ($20) my friend wanted. The drink itself was okay; not bad, but not my favorite matcha beverage. We also ordered the Invincible Power Wrap ($15), which tasted good but was honestly much smaller than I expected for the price. My favorite thing we tried was definitely Atom Eve's Energy Acai Bowl ($9). I love acai bowls and this one was refreshing with dragonfruit, strawberries, lychee, coconut flakes, and granola. I would order that again. We also shared the Viltrumite Training Cookies ($9). They were basically buttery sugar cookies but came in a pack of 3. Parking was probably the only annoying part. The shopping center seemed to only have valet, so I ended up finding free street parking in the neighborhood and walking about 10 minutes. One thing I thought was really cool was that the employees told us they completely change the theme every few months. They have done collaborations with Godzilla, Final Fantasy VII, and Arcane. Overall, I had a really good time, even as someone who is not familiar with Invincible. If you are a fan of the show and like experiential dining experiences, I would say come check it out.

They had a very minimal menu.. he came for the drink flask collectibles. They were $20 each and came with a juice drink inside. He also wanted their sugar cookies with the theme but they had ran out for the day. We also went upstairs where they had some picture props and a claw machine that was a scam lol $8 for 1 token for 2 tries and the many coins we got and played.. the claw would pick up and drop right before moving towards the drop.. shake my head. Overall it's definitely for the gamer life..
