Very authentic Taiwanese restaurant located in a strip mall. Owner is very friendly and she does everything herself to achieve higher standard of customer service. There is no MSG in her food because she is allergic to that chemical and she eats her food daily. We came twice already. First time we had intestine vermicelli and braised pork chop rice combo. Both were good and tasty. The soup base was cook from fish and very clear. The pork chop you can taste the tea flavor. At the same time, she was very proud to explain how she prepared the beef soup and all other ingredient for at least two days, just to satisfy customers' tongue with all fresh materials, not from powder. Totally good experience and decide to come back next time. Thus we came back second time to try her beef soup noodle. We also had red vinasse pork combo(紅糟肉), which taste totally different than the other famous chained store. Majority rice combo come with a free drink( green/ black/milk tea). Her tea was brewed daily from tea leaves, not from powder. She threw away boba every four hours, if not consumed. She wants her product to be perfect even on these free drinks. We also had herbal jelly as our dessert this time. Jelly was firm and taste good. Last time we had Soy pudding and that was good choice as well. Must try! ! By the way, CASH ONLY! They have the best Taiwanese thin noodles in town. Everything is pretty authentic, much better than class 302. Service is good. Owner is nice and smiles all the time. Price is very reasonable. This would've been my first time trying this place, but unfortunately will never ever turn an eye to come back here. Worst customer service I've encountered. My friend accidentally through a banana peel in her small garbage can, that I guess was only for paper and the cashier went crazy on her and made her stick her hand in there and pull the banana peel out the trash. It was an honest mistake and she shouldn't have acted that way and could have handled it better. I'm sorry you don't scream at any customer and not expect a bad review. We tried the golden fish balls (great portion size), red pork and sausage rice plate (delicious!), bamboo shoots and pork belly rice plate (equally delicious!), stinky tofu, and meat bun (best I've tasted so far). This place is just like your typical boba shop. The inside isn't really meant for you to stay for long periods of time. Since it's located next to a continuation school, it was place was flooded with students during lunch. They have tables to sit, but it has more of a mart feel than a coffee shop. Drinks weren't bad. If you're looking for authentic Taiwanese street food, this place is it. I came here once and was addicted. I think I been here for the fourth time this week... Their milk tea is very good and I always add boba and pudding. The boba is always soft and chewy and the pudding is like flan which I love. For snacks, I like the sweet potato fries and their popcorn chicken. The popcorn chicken is crispy and juicy. If you like stinky tofu, you have to try theirs. It is STINKY and very tasty. I love the sauce and pickled cabbage that comes with it. As for entrees, I have only tried the fried fish fillet. It was a large portion for the price and delicious. The service and food is consistent. The only negative thing I have to say is that when they're busy, the wait is a bit annoying. I would suggest calling to order if you're impatient. Other than that, I'm so glad I found this place for my unhealthy addiction to boba and popcorn chicken. Regular iced tea, thai iced tea and a couple boba drinks. Service was good and drinks came fast Niu riu mian (beef noodle soup) was outstanding. Maybe best broth I've ever had, and I have had countless bowls. Beef was delicious too, and lots of it The fried tofu was excellent. Somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. The food is authentic and not as greasy as many other Taiwanese places. This was important to me as I don't remember food being all that greasy in my childhood when I grew up there. The pork chop rice was excellent as well as the bamboo pork. Shaved ice was decent. The place looked a bit unkempt inside but since there was no dine in I'm not going to hold this against them if the health inspectors didn't. My only issue is the I called the order in plenty ahead of time, it was ready at the window in plain site, yet the lady made me wait while she took 3 more orders on the phone before she let me pay. This is one of my pet peeves. Take care of your customers that are already there waiting in the 99 plus degree heat. The people on the phone can call back or go on hold as they are sitting in ac and you got as much time to do their order as you feel like taking, since you are the one that dictate when they come in for pickup. When people come in on time you shouldn't "reward" them by making them wait even longer. read more

I remember coming here earlier in the year and forgot about this place again until I saw it on yelp!! The food and drinks here are honestly great, and the milk tea I got with the meal was beyond perfect. A lot of places use powder but you can definitely taste the tea in the drinks here...I still think about this place when I think about a good cup of milk tea. Otherwise the food here is excellent as well, getting a lunch here is like getting a nice surprise in a variety of side dishes. The dishes here were seasoned and cooked very well and with a lot of care. I got the friend pork chop with rice and the meal was both very filling and appetizing. Service here is also a 5/5 too! The owner of this establishment was welcoming and very friendly, we chatted while my food was being prepared. I havent been here in a long time and since I was right by it, I decided to grab a drink. I got a honey green with lychee jelly and ordered their popcorn chicken. my drink was very refreshing and the popcorn chicken (medium flavor) was really good! They had added basil with the chicken and it was very different as in I liked it a lot lol. Chicken was well marinated and tender.. The basil was crunchy and added a nice flavor to it.. it comes in a brown togo box which is different also! Prices are cheap.
