The lady handling the order was pleasant and let us know how long we would need to wait for our order. Pricing is better than other tea shops in the area as well. Yummy hairs on the basil chicken! Will definietely come back for more! We've been going to this place for a while and this is the first time it happened. I wish the kitchen staff wore hairnets to put my mind at ease that this is indeed 'corn hairs' but who deep fries corn with the husks anyway? The excuse is that the chicken was deep fried in the same deep fryer they fry whole corn???? Regardless, we don't want any hair in our food. It's not supposed to be there and we don't want to eat it. I came back for a refund and they would not refund because the owner said there is nothing wrong with the food. So, it's OK to have hair in basil chicken? They also called 4 times and left a voicemail to explain that their cooks wear hair nets. I specifically saw a male person from the kitchen handling food without a hair net. I know this as a fact because he peered out from the kitchen parting the curtain that separates the kitchen from the front office and I saw him maskless and no hair net. The owner assured me the food was ok, nothing was wrong with it and no refund. She even said this bappened before and assured other customers it was just corn hairs. Update 2/1/2021, in response to the owners comments: my wife fished out the hair from INSIDE/WITHIN the food. It was mixed in. We could not believe how much hair was in it. The second photo of the hair IN the food was after we took out the hairs that were laid out on the napkin. Part of that hair was still inside. We were fishing it out using the chopsticks. My wife's hair is up to her waist and I shave my head. My kids did not even come close to it. So, no, it could not have been ours. The owner was cheating on the bill. She charged 15% tips(service fees) in advance. And asking for the tips again at the bottom of the bill. Never come back again since the foods is soso and not honest to serve people **We only have two adults and ate inside the restaurant. No outside delivery request and we didn't order lots foods. The 15% service fees has been included into the total amount in advance. It's the first time I see the owner charge in advance. Heard about this place, located in a plaza that's not known for Asian food. The owner was super attentive. The portion was great for it's price. We were there for late lunch and their lunch special was an entrée with free drink. We also ordered a mix marinated goods (攪和攪和). That was super yummy. The only weak part was their tea. Had a craving for Taiwanese food + dessert and this place didn't disappoint. They had the prerequisite hot grass jelly and a number of bento box style entrees available. We ordered the Fillet Fish, Red Pork w/sausage and Basil Chicken. All three we yummy and hit the spot with a large portion of meats, rice and various sides. Three things worth noting - the portions were generous (especially considering the price), the mice meat sauce on top of the rice was made in the traditional style (hand cut) instead of just using ground pork, and these rice dishes came with drinks! The hot grass jelly was still hot after driving home AND scarfing down the food. The $5 and change dessert includes two toppings and totally hit the spot. Parking was easy on a Friday night and although there weren't many people eating inside, there was a steady stream of people coming in and out with to-go orders. Instead, you ordered through a window, and it was to go only. I ordered the red yeast pork and rice combo. When I got home, the pork looked a little undercooked, but it was crispy on the outside, and I was starving, so I ate some. After eating two pieces, I noticed a hint of a sour taste. It was not completely spoiled, but it was getting there. I stopped eating the pork and threw the rest away. That meal was disappointing. However, the veggies, egg, and tea were good. A Few Issues Here: 1. Uninviting Signs saying $2 minimum purchase per person. You should welcome guests no matter what. If people are loitering then maybe that's a different story. 2. $10 minimum for use of a card. I know credit card transactions cost money, but your limiting your business. 3. I got a Milk Tea Boba and wasn't even that cold. Why don't they pour it over ice? You would save on product costs because there wouldn't be as much room for the tea. Would have definitely preferred a cold drink. We also got Thai iced tea and had a very bitter taste to it.. 4. The entire restaurant smells like warm poop coming from a diaper.. GROSS. This place is just okay. Buy 1 cup of their milk tea before going for the gallon. That's what my friends and I decided to do. First thing you'll notice is cash only (money laundering is a possibility, let's be honest) and lots of signs deterring customers. There's a yellow sign that kills the vibe by pretty much saying "each person must spend at least $2 to sit." I think anyone coming into the store will have the intention of buying, so those were unnecessary signs. It's better to have the employee politely ask people not to loiter or take up seats for too long. The milk tea tastes like they cheap out by using low quality ingredients and a lot of water and ice; it's very similar to the Quickly franchise milk tea. This place isn't special, so I'll go elsewhere for my cheat days. read more

Tried this for the first time since it's close to home. You have to Order outside and there's nowhere to sit. They were pretty busy at 5:30 and there didn't seem to be that many people working there. Took a while to place my order I think I was standing at the window for like 5 minutes before the lady came to take my order. I ordered a brown sugar milk tea, jasmine green tea and popcorn chicken with sweet potato fries. Girlfriend didn't like the food or drinks but I thought they were decent. Price wasn't to bad.
