yummy food and drinks and they're open late! food truck in rowland heights with a few seats/tables outside. workers were very friendly and it only took about 10 minutes to get my order! popcorn chicken combo b (5/5) - got half popcorn chicken mild and half sweet potato fries with wintermelon tea as the drink. everything came out hot and crispy and it's super good amount for the price! lychee green tea (4/5) - very good, especially for $5! their drinks do run very sweet though mango green tea w lychee jelly (4/5) - same as the lychee, very good but on the sweeter side i'd definitely come back if i'm in the area to grab a drink and a snack!

We actually went to this food truck in hopes of finding some authentic Taiwanese shaved ice. Unfortunately because they moved their store front to a food truck they can no longer serve. However, we did not want to just leave empty handed and heard that the popcorn chicken was very good. My family and I were not disappointed at all. The popcorn chicken and sweet potato fry combo was cooked to perfection. Super crispy on the outside and soft/juicy on the inside. The seasoning was perfect as well! The combo was $14 and came with popcorn chicken, sweet potato fries, and a drink. Which I think is pretty reasonable for the portion size. The food truck is located by TS emporium side street on Nogales and Daisetta Street. Upon arriving the fragrance and ambiance really feel like Taiwan. Overall 10/10 would definitely come again. ^--^ I think they open until midnight everyday and I will definitely be returning!

My all time favorites place to get Taiwanese Food! Especially for the 3 flavors chicken bento! It's better than every way you can find at SoCal! And really authentic! The popcorn chicken is really amazing, You guys should have to try it! No.1 Pick Teppanyaki Noodle Killed it! Pork Blood Cake, outside crispy inside super soft! No one can beat it

Amazing! What went well? Well I guess everything we ordered went well! I was a little skeptical at first but decided to give it a try. I ordered the stinky tofu, OMG, it blew me away! No way it tasted better than most actual Taiwan night markets half way around the world! The crispy texture and the smell hit the spot! Paired with kimchi and the chili sauce you are in stinky heaven! I think the smell could be "more stinky" but I'm guessing this is better suited for the masses. We ordered the Cajun Corn, it tasted similar to most Cajun dishes with a little bit of character. Could be a hit or miss with some. I liked it. My main entree was pork ribs rice, solid 5/5 stars the meat was tender with flavor! My wife had the tofu rice, the tofu came out just a tiny bit salty, but was acceptable as the flavor was spot on! The only drawback back from eating food truck is that there's not much service (hence no tips) and you are eating right on the curb using their pop out tables and chairs. If you love Taiwan dishes, you better go try.

It has been a while since l got anything from a food truck. This was a deal for $5. It certainly came in handy after having dinner next door. Friendly staff !

Bobamia is now a food truck business! That's right! You heard me correctly! Bobamia is now situated on the corner of Amar & Echelon close to where its former restaurant location was. The food truck itself is brand new and cutely designed, displaying all of the food and beverage options on the side. The food is still delicious as always with great portions for the price you pay. Grace still runs the business and is still friendly as ever. I got the Basil Chicken Tofu rice combo that came with a milk tea and it is still one of my favorite food offerings. Please come and check out this food truck!

Fresh taro slush with egg pudding ... large size
    Victoria C.

Passed by this place whenever I go to my friend's place but never got to try it. Today my friend and I decided to stop by on the way home after pickle ball. I ordered a fresh taro slush large size with pudding as the topping. The small slush was $3.50 and the large was $4.00. Since it was only $0.50 difference I decided to get the large. This place doesn't have dine in so you have to place your order at a pick up window. The drinks all seem like a good deal compared to other boba places. The minimum spend to use credit card is $10. After placing the order for 2 drinks, we waited about 5 -10 mins for the drinks to get prepared. To my surprise, the fresh taro slush was pretty good. I didn't adjust the sugar level (although not sure if you can), but might be too sweet for some people. The pudding had strong flavor and later would overpower the taro flavor. The slush overall was good flavor though. There is also crystal boba as a topping option even though it's not listed on the menu. I would definitely want to come back next time and try the popcorn chicken and their other drinks! I'm not able to upload pictures for this restaurant at this moment.. not sure why.

I discovered this food truck while searching on Yelp after moving to the area and not having a refrigerator to store and cook homemade food. With limited dining options nearby, I was initially skeptical about whether it would be open due to the lack of reviews. I debated if it was worth the drive, but I'm so glad I decided to go. I tried the Pork Belly Rice with Popcorn Chicken and Big Shrimp Wontons with Noodles. The Pork Belly Rice and Popcorn Chicken were fantastic, especially with the marinated egg. The Shrimp Wontons with Noodles were also impressive--the wontons were full of flavor, and the noodles itself were surprisingly tasty despite their small portion. I would definitely return for a late-night dinner. Highly recommended! Thank you again for the good eats (:

Been here a few times, so good! They have good chicken popcorn and their portion is pretty big too. I can never finish my food alone when I'm here. Service is also really good, they're always so kind

    Ada Z.

We ordered a pork belly rice with a side of popcorn chicken. The shop is tiny, so you wait outside for orders after placing it, and they call your numbers physically, so be sure you're listening for it. I loved that it came with a marinated egg and bean curd. The meat and rice were well flavored, and the popcorn chicken was crispy too. The price was good, and the box felt heavy! We'll definitely be back again!

Mines was definitely worse since I ordered on the phone ahead of time (15 minutes to get to the store), i still have to wait 40 minutes after arrival. My total wait time from order to actually receiving the order is 60 minutes. Drink was extremely delicious but not the wait. And the disorganization. From the very beginning I waited in the store I told them to put two orders together and gave them the two numbers. They put the order next to each other and by the time the number is "ready for pick-up" on the screen, we went to ask them and my drink still wasn't ready. They can't even find my ticket and had to asked me to wait another 5 minutes. It's toasty oolong tea with hints of honey & caramel. TASTY! With each sip, I felt my stress and worries fade away. I smiled happily. (Important: Bring Cash. With Card, there's a 35 cents additional charge for orders under $15.) I arrived at Tenju Tea House (Rowland Heights) on Friday (around 11:45AM). There's a competitive, busy parking lot. Fortunately, I quickly found parking. Staff is professional and polite. Staff gave good recommendations, and Staff answered all my questions. The drink took about five minutes. As mentioned, I ordered the Iron Goddess Milk Tea ($6.75 - Large - 100% Sweetness). The crisp tea taste is pronounced and brewed perfectly (not burnt). Its gentle sweetness soothes the throat, and the flavor of honey and caramel flutters about. It's DELICIOUS! On ambiance, Tenju Tea House (Rowland Heights) is aged, worn-down but well-maintained. The location is a little small; there's about four tables. Fortunately, it feels well-ventilated and airy. In addition, Tenju Tea House (Rowland Heights) also has PLENTY of utility. This spot has 34 electrical outlets!!! WOW! These outlets easily blend with the wall. There's also customer internet with password; customers must ask Staff for details. There's also a gender neutral restroom in the back. Overall, I found unexpected happiness at Tenju Tea House (Rowland Heights). The tea is one of the best! If you love tea, this is a very easy recommendation. 4.9 out of 5!

The monk's blend was an iced Ceylon black tea with a touch of vanilla and grenadine. Although this drink is a signature menu item, I didn't really enjoy the citrusy and plum-like tartness. Most of the popcorn chicken pieces had a crispy texture, whereas others were a tad soggy. With medium spice, the chicken was very flavorful. The popcorn chicken came in an oyster pail that looked a little small, but the portion size still seemed adequate for the price. I ended up drinking the tea first before eating the chicken because the flavors did not leave a complementary aftertaste. Also, I got my tea first, but the staff forgot to give me the popcorn chicken even though they said that it's on the way. I had to follow up after waiting several minutes. One staff member was apologetic and explained that she thought my order was complete once I got my tea. The wait was unfortunately long because of the miscommunication.

They're about $6 which is more pricey than a typical tart but these are about 2x the size of a typical one. The crust is flaky and buttery and while I'm a cookie crust egg tart girl, I can appreciate a good flakey crust. I love that it isn't overly sweet. We always order one to eat fresh and others to take home. We heat the leftovers in the microwave for about 20 seconds and while the crust is obviously not as flakey as it would be fresh, the custard is still great. My wife and I have never been here but for anything Street Fighter I had to check it out. I'm a huge fan of the video game and they hit the mark on everything! There's a specific themed menu for this collab with 4 drinks. The set up is pretty much kiosk ordering, but staff will help as needed. The whole vibe set up inside was so cool! All the table are designed with the stages in the video game. The walls have a bunch of posters. There's a shelf with toys and collectibles. They have the arcade set up for free play of Street Fighter as well. We ended up ordering the Ken & Guile Drinks. Ken Drink - STRAWBERRY MANGO GREEN TEA WITH CHAMOY SWIRL Guile Drink - MANGO DREAM WITH MILITARY GREEN APPLE STAR JELLY We enjoyed them and would recommend. The Ken one was refreshing and light. The Guile one was delicious with good amount of sweetness. We might need to come back again and try the other two. Per the staff they do different collaborations each month. We had a great time hanging out in here. I loved the whole vibe. Thanks, Thirsty Waters! ( ^_^)b

I got the Guile drink which was a milk tea with mango puree and apple star jelly. I substituted the milk with oat ($0.75 extra). My husband ordered Ken which was green tea with strawberry mango and chamoy swirl. We played Street Fighter while our drinks were being prepared. After losing two rounds (lol) they were ready. I love when drinks are put in a cup with the pop tab. It's satisfying to hear the "pop" when I open the can. Guile was perfect! The mango puree was fresh and sweet. I could taste the apple in the star jelly. Although they were a bit difficult to grab on every sip, it was enjoyable still when I was able to. The oat milk paired very well. Ken was refreshing. Similar to Guile's, it was perfectly balanced. The mango did not overpower the drink and the chamoy came through. If I had to choose between the two, I would reorder Guile. The drinks were simple and that's what made them great. I would continue coming back for their themed drinks. Thanks, Thirsty Waters! See you again real soon!
