The place was so pretty, with very girly pink aesthetic interior which I love most. Their boba tea was good, must try their best seller signature boba. Also don't forget to grab their donut! My wife and daughters absolutely loved the decor of Bober. The flowers on the wall, the ball pit swimming pool and the swings. The mochi donuts were good. The Boba was amazing. I wanted to like this place but the overall experience left me feeling very annoyed and that's not the feeling you want when you go someplace for a treat. When you enter the store no one acknowledges you although the workers are only like 3 feet away. You are left to figure out on your own that you order from the kiosk. Ok fine. But then the instructions on the kiosk are quite confusing as there is no option to choose the flavors of mochinuts. Ok whatever. We ordered the 3 pack and typed the flavors we wanted in the comments section (bacon, funnel, churro). We pay and then we waited. Someone eventually called our name and then proceeded to tell us we couldn't have the bacon flavor in the 3 pack. What?? Why?? They say we can only have that flavor if we buy the 6 pack and then we can only have one. What?? Why?? She didn't know but said they were special. Sooo how much extra does it cost? She says it doesn't have an extra cost and that we can't have that one with our order. She then proceeded to offer us other flavors. So now I'm irritated because none of that makes any sense and none of that was on the kiosk or told to us before we paid. Sooo according to the cashier, the only way to get 2 bacon flavored mochinuts would be to buy two packs of 6. That is absurd to me. We ended up choosing a different flavor but the experience wasn't pleasant and I honestly just wanted to ask for a refund out of principle. Anywhoo, the mochinuts tasted good but the boba tea was weak and I probably wouldn't go back just based on the customer experience. They really need to do better with their policies. read more

Our drinks did not have boba and requested to pay extra to add tapioca balls. A guy employee was willing to add it but the young blond lady in charge quickly said no and reprimanded the guy that we can't do that. We left with our drinks and decide to never come back again. i don't usually leave reviews, but this boba shop seriously deserves it. from the moment i walked in, the vibe was perfect clean, cozy, and really welcoming. the staff were super friendly and patient. you can tell they actually care about quality and customer service. i ordered a brown sugar milk tea with boba and a matcha strawberry latte, and both were incredible. the tea was perfectly balanced not too sweet, not too bitter and the boba was soft and chewy, just how it should be. you can tell it's freshly made and not sitting out all day like at other places. the drinks tasted fresh, creamy, and full of flavor, not watered down like some shops. they also have a ton of options milk teas, fruit teas, specialty drinks, and even snacks. plus, the aesthetic of the shop is super cute, which makes it the perfect hangout spot with friends or for getting some work done. definitely my new go-to boba spot. 10/10 recommend if you're a boba lover or even just trying it for the first time, you won't be disappointed. read more

Located in a dead plaza by Walmart. Walking in to the place is another story it's so pretty decorated in pink flowers all over with catchy Neon lights. The service is great and they are fast and very friendly. Hate places that takes forever but the boba tea and machine donut was fresh and good and also love the double stir boba. I want to say this place has some amazing mochi donuts. The tea on the other hand was no where near comparable. First they had no alternative milk options, just a heads up, but that doesn't matter not everywhere does. What did matter is I asked for my tea less sweet, which wasn't even an option in the iPad I added it to the notes, and it was so sweet I could barely drink it. The store itself is very aesthetically pleasing with bright colors and lots of pink. I would buy donuts from here but not tea again. I've gotten the classic milk tea and the strawberry tea and both where almost undrinkable. Edit: after looking at other reviews it's all made with non-dairy milk. Customer service and policies need to be better. I went in last night to get donuts. When I arrived I saw there were only about 10 left and asked if that was all they had. The employee said yes. I proceeded to purchase a 6 pack on the tablet then waited for my name to be called. Apparently there was 1 customer before me already waiting who also ordered a 6 pack. By the time they called my name there were only 2 donuts left. The employee proceeded to tell me, "We only have 2 left." Then was silent without giving any solutions. Ummm no I'm not going to pay for a 6 pack and only get 2 donuts. I asked if I can get a refund and just purchase 2 individual donuts. The employee seemed to be confused about what I was asking. I asked again if I can get a refund and the employee's demeanor was not helpful. After the employee gave me a refund (without showing me proof that the refund was processed) I asked if I can purchase the two donuts individually and was told I can only get individual donuts if I purchase a drink. What?!? 1. If donuts are running low they should let customers know they may run out or disable the option to purchase donuts on the tablet. 2. The employee should have already offered to give me a refund since I paid for something they no longer had available. 3. They should consider allowing folks to purchase a single donut by itself. Why should I need to buy a drink to get one donut? read more

I love Bober, I'm a big fan of Bober so I drive 1hr from San Jose to Martinez and support it on the grand opening. The drinks still good, but the girl in front that giving out the drink is kind of rude. She called my name to get the drink and then she just leave it there without talking to me. I ordered 3 drinks but she just leave 2 there. So I tried to ask her but she didn't even listen, and keep calling the next customer until my boyfriend speak up. But I heard she said something to the co worker that "Alessa didn't show up..." something, so freaking rude, I was standing right there. She didn't even ask me what do I want for the free drink (it's buy 1 get 1 free on grand opening), so I end up with no free drink and angry. This is the 1st time but also the last time I will stop by at this location. So disappointed read more

We had to wait a few minutes for them to open, which was okay, The decor inside looked fantastic, and my daughter was so excited to go inside, but when the woman opened the store, she was so rude and uninviting. On the glass case by the donuts, it said thin mint, and I said that's cool. She said that was yesterday, took her hand, and wiped it off. This place is FANTASTIC! I'm so excited about it. I went today and got the taro tea latte with boba, along with a selection of doughnuts, and everything was VERY good. I like that you can adjust the sweetness on the drinks, and the boba is excellent. The entire store is adorable. It has pink flowers covering everything from top to bottom, along with a pink ball pit, and swings inside to sit on while you're waiting. They even have the cutest bear head lids, while some other drinks get a beautiful orchid flower on top. All if that is wonderful, but what really makes this place great is the owners/employees. They're friendly, and work super hard to get everything perfect while dealing with a rush of people. I especially want to give props to the kid that was working today (I think it's the owners son). What a friendly, well mannered, hard working boy! His family should be so proud of him. :) Anyways, the bottom line is that this place is great, and everyone should definitely try it out asap! read more

When it comes to a Boba place you are looking for 3 things: 1 - good tapioca 2 - a decent amount of tapioca 3 - the tapioca being priced into the drink This place fails on all three. The tapioca is terrible. They give you about 1/2 as much as any other place. They charge 80 cents on top of already overpriced drinks (that aren't good to start with) This is the only boba tea place in the area. I don't think they are going to last with these prices and poor quality. Also, the kiosk ordering system is terrible. If you are willing to drive, go to Big Bang Boba on Clayton. That's the best one in the area. Everything about it is better than this bad place. Don't go. Just let them go out of business ASAP. Maybe the location is cursed because the Wing Stop that was here was terrible, too. read more

I came here December 11th and was amazed at all the pink decoration! Everything looked so cute and they also have a menu with pictures of the items which is also super helpful! There were chairs and tables to sit at, and a little section where you could take photos. This place was recommended to me because of two reasons: 1) all pink decor 2) plushie cups. So I was really excited to try it out!! Unfortunately it did not live up to its hype. First thing when you come in, are there two kiosks to order from. I ordered and wanted to try the mochi donut but they had already run out! No problem, I got a hazelnut milk tea less sweet and with boba. Then of course I paid extra for the plush cup. After placing my order I went next door to pick up some food. I eventually came back from my drink, and when I asked about my drink, the lady told me "yeah I'd been calling this name out for a while", in quite a rude tone. I apologized (though I didn't have to), and she said nothing. Handed me my drink and didn't say have a nice day, or offer up a smile. Keep in mind, there were NO other customers around, and it was not busy. And I couldn't understand why she sounded like it was an inconvenience that I wasn't waiting in store for her to finish my drink? To make matters worse, the drink was WAY too sweet!! It tasted like extra sugar, and had I known it would be so sweet I would have gotten it unsweetened. That being said, this experience left a bad taste on my tongue, and I don't think I'll come again. Added the extra star because of the decor, but if you don't care about manners then this place is perfect for you! read more
