Stir fried boba? Interesting -so I had to try it for myself. I was in the area and stopped in. It was a Sunday morning so parking was easily available and free. They open relatively early for a boba teahouse - 10 am on the weekend. And they had boba ready. Yay, I've been to teahouses before right when they've opened and they never have boba readily availably. It usually like oh they'll be ready in 20 -60 min later because they just started boiling them. So annoying. But this was not an issue here. I actually got here a few minutes before 10 and there were already two other parties ahead of me waiting in line. I think from when I got in line to when I got my drink, it was 20 minute total wait. So not too bad. Right now because of covid they are only letting a couple people inside at once. And they're safe with the gloves and plastic barriers and social distancing. Inside, it's really nice too - a very instagrammable place with a flower wall, swings, and neon signs. I ended up getting a large chizu strawberry green tea with stir fried boba. Unfortunately, the sweetness cannot be adjusted for this drink. But it was ok- I didn't find it overly sweet, which is usually why I get like half or less sweetness on tea drinks. The chizu or cream cheese on top was nice - very creamy. I really enjoyed the strawberry green tea. There were fresh mashed strawberries in the drink. And it had a good tea flavor. The boba was pretty good too. Not sure I could taste a difference that it was stir-fried. It's a pretty expensive drink at $7.50. And since we're downtown they include an extra HBID tax. I liked it but not a regular place for me to go to. Every once in awhile is great though. A Yelp check-in at the time gave you a free metal straw. Now currently, with the boba bracket competition, they have 25% off milk tea, which is a good deal too. read more

Bit over priced boba and they don't have an option for no ice. Their reason for not having the "no ice" option is because "then we have to give you more tea". Like seriously...!?!? The crème brûlée drink was way too sweet. Think I'll pass on ever going back. read more

This place is cozy, yummy and def a IG worthy place. They have a swing and rose wall. And for all lovers of pink, their interior decor is pink and magenta! They only allow 2 groups in at once and everyone is required to wear a mask at all times. Everyone has enough room to be safely socially distanced. First time getting their Pink Haze Vietnamese coffee (pink salted cream). Previously it was their strawberry chizu green tea and it was spectacular! I didn't like what I ordered here, I got a Jasmine Milk Tea 50% Sweet and it still came out super sweet. However, that being said, I did like the drink my mom got. I had ordered her the Supreme Mango Green Tea which was the perfect sweetness and has fresh mango bits. I think either get their signatures here or the fresh fruit teas. Talk about the picture perfect Instagram set-up! They have the cutest pink flower wall and swings! LOVE! On top of that, they have a nice variety of drinks. I love their brown sugar series so if you have a sweet tooth, any of those will satisfy your cravings. You can adjust your sweetness levels and they have a variety of toppings to choose from. My personal fave here is the brown sugar konjac. Plenty of parking around the area so that shouldn't be a problem. Would definitely recommend. read more

My sister in law recommend for us to try and we loved it. Very friendly service with helpful recommendations. They have cute pink decor and swing with flower backdrop for photos. I ordered a taro latte and it tasted amazing. I especially loved the small ice cubes. My daughters ordered the honey milk tea and milk tea with boba. My husband ordered a Vietnamese ice coffee. Always a little skeptical about spots that have picture-worthy backdrops because that usually means the drinks are subpar. However, bober tea proved to be both adorable and delicious!!! I got the brown sugar milk tea. Larger cups are 50 cents more expensive.... so just treat yo self. I usually order 80% sweetness as a baseline for all boba shops, but I'd recommend to reduce it to 50% here. Unfortunately, I was super full and unable to try the boba topping, but I presume it would be fresh as they were literally "stir frying" it in front of my eyes. There was a line out the door and thankfully we got here early enough to be 2nd in line. 3rd time visiting and I wanted to support a business near my job and the service I've received has always questionable and graduated to spiteful with the staffs "Take it or leave it" attitude. First time I ordered online I wanted to tell them lite on the ice but didn't see an option for it on their order page, I rushed there in hopes I caught them before they made the drink and the gentleman working there told me to say it on the order form but even saying there's no option for ice just sugar and boba he just repeated himself but added come to the store and order instead. The second time was similar but I was told that It was against company policy to ask for little or no ice while the Woman working behind the counter rolled her eyes at me. The third time I attempted to customize again with the amount of ice and the pictures speak for themselves. My drink was largely mango chunks and ice, hardly any liquid and after about 3 sips the drink was empty! In all honesty I've tried with them but the customer service here is just rude and dismissive and in my final example, downright spiteful. At this point I'll visit iTea near my house, the service is better and the drink selection is just as good if not better and their customization options don't come a side of venomous attitude seeping into my drink. read more

Reading these reviews i just dont understand how both of my experiences were so bad. This past Tuesday night mirrorer the first visit. The girl at the counter was curt and unhelpful. She happened to be the one there during my first visit also. I was holding a $20 bill while standing at the counter. She said we are not taking cash. Didnt ask if i could use another form of payment, just that. Flat and rude. Then after we paid and was looking at the pretty cool swing and wall deco she said rudely that we needed to wait outside. The menu is small, the drinks are mediocre, the service is bad. The decor is the only thing this place has going for it in my opinion. read more

This new little boba spot is definitely something special. I was introduced to this place by my sister who brought me home the brown sugar Oreo milk tea and I was very impressed at how unique and different and more importantly more delicious than any other brown sugar boba drink I've had else where. I knew from that day that I had to go in myself to check this place out. As soon as you walk into the store you are hit with a whole lot of pink walls with subtle accents of green and gold. They also have a beautiful flower wall with two swings to take pictures. This time I ordered the signature, and WOW. I think it's the way they stir fry their boba that makes this drink addicting in my opinion. I would consider this place top 3 on my list of boba spots in Sac. Absolutely disappointed. They couldn't make a hot milk tea drink but even worse than that, they refused to refrain from adding ice to the milk tea. I asked for them to make a regular drink with no ice. They refused. They put less ice, but couldn't even accommodate for something as simple as just making a simple drink without ice. Better yet, they kicked me out because I had a medical condition (employees raising their voice repeatedly, rude service). The boba did not taste like a fresh batch. I've only gone to the store once but I had a phenomenal experience! I got the taro milk tea and it was in the top 5 taro milk tea drinks I've had in the Sacramento and Bay Area. My only complaint is that they need hot drinks for when the weather is cold. I also appreciate the indoor swings. I recommend going and taking advantage of the swings before something happens and they get removed. read more

The brown sugar flavor was only there for the first couple sips then the tea just tasted like plain milk tea.
