He stated it would take 10 days to repair and I didn't get it back for 19 days. He also asked for an additional $20 for gas due to it being "very low" but I'm pretty sure I had a quarter tank when I dropped it off. Would I recommend this business? No. My car was left outside for 3 months. Although I left Bob a clean car, I got back a very dirty car with dried tree droppings. The city of Fremont doesn't allow washing cars on site. That's fine. However, as a professional courtesy, you should at the very least, run the car through the wash. In addition, more than 25 miles were put on my car and fastrak toll was used. Bob admitted to driving my car.FYI, tolls take pictures of your rear plate. When I picked up my car, Bob told me my front license was stolen. I understand this happens often. However, he didn't bother to let me know until I picked up the car and couldn't tell me when it happened except that it was in front of his house. To top it all off, the repair had dried dripping paint. But hey I got a one year warranty. At that point, just wanted my car back and clean her up. The way you treated my business is not right. The workmanship and quality of materials used by Borris's shop is subpar and should be left to the professionals. He claims he's an honest shop, but won't stand by his work to make things right. Paint runs, overspray, clear coat issues, and dismissive when confronted with these issues. Plenty of better shops to take your business. Oh, and ask about his warranty! Laughable! Reply to the owner: Everything in your reply was misinformation. The car was washed with quality name brand product soap and a clay bar. Unlike your cheap paint products that were used, clearly, since you declined to comment on whether it was an issue with your work or your products, I'd have to assume both.. You clearly don't know simple math either, or you just don't listen well because of your dismissive attitude getting in the way of speaking to a client that came to you with nothing but respect. Great service! I stopped by Bob's Bridge Collision Center to get my rear bumper adjusted on my car. The appointment was easy to make online and I was able to bring my car in the next morning. Upon arriving, Boris took a look at my car and gave me an estimate on time and price. They were working on another car at the time, finishing up, and I appreciated that he let me know it would be about a 30 minute wait and suggested I grabbed a coffee and told me spots around that I could go wait. After returning in about half an hour, Boris and the other worker got straight to work. I was able to wait in the office, as it was a quick repair that was needed. While I was waiting and they were working on the car, he called me over to show me what was going on. I appreciated that. Since it was a quick repair I was in and out of there in, perhaps, less than an hour. After they were done, Boris took my car along the road to make sure it was running smoothly as well since he noticed how many miles I had on my car. After contacting a bunch of shops around the Bay with pictures of the job that I needed and after receiving estimates that were all over the place, I decided to give the job to Boris. The reason why I picked Boris was: 1. the estimate was fair (I was paying out of pocket - not through an insurance), 2. his business rating is consistent (over 150 five star customers here can't be wrong) 3. the repairs displayed in the pictures looked great, 4. he addreses the reviews left by his customers (positive or negative) and provides solutions. There is not much I can add to the other 150 + the other 76 filtered positive reviews, they all are on point - my experience here was excellent. When I took the car to his shop Boris and John were friendly and helpful. Boris went over the process of repairing the faded peeling hood of my car as well as the faded rail on the side door and how long it will take him to do it. The day I had to pick up the car (earlier than estimated) the job he did looked well done. That said, if you want great communication, good customer service, fair estimates, fast turnaround and good work, then I would recomend Boris for any paint or repair job. Well where can I start.... I have so many positive things to say about Mr. Bob aka Mr. Boris. I took my car in last month I had some dents on the back of my Jeep Cherokee. Immediately upon my arrival I met Mr. Boris and he was very nice. He brought me in his office and discussed everything he would do to my car and that my car would be finished in a couple of days. I explained to him that I needed a rental because of work but the rental car places were about to close. He said let's go and when I tell you this man made it there with time to spare. Whew! Yes he did! In the rental car places he even talked them down to give me a discount! We then returned to the shop where he gave me a reasonable quote for my repair. I had a great experience working with Vic & Boris to repair my car! I requested a quote by submitting pictures of the damage via yelp and the reply was very fast! Being in accident for the first time, I mistakenly submitted a claim through my insurance although it was other's party mistake. Boris advised me to submit a claim through other's party insurance instead (Geico) and cancelled mine. After I got the claim # and rental car confirmation from Geico, the process was simple and fast. I went to Bob's Bridge in the morning and Boris drove me to the rental place. Boris set up the appointment with Geico adjuster to quote the repair the next day. He said it would take 3-5 days for the repair. Although the repair took longer (due to adjuster's mistake), I am very satisfied with the result. I really appreciate Boris's honest price quote and explanation of what needs to be fixed. I was rear ended with scratches on bumper and few other repair shops were quoting $600-900, trying to push for a complete paint job. Boris checked it out and he said that he can just polish it out for around $50 to fix the scratches. Even when I asked about a paint job, he just explained it wasn't unnecessary. In person the guy doesn't keep the appointment time and is a very proud man who knows exactly what he wants and doesn't like doing anything outside of that. Having pride in your work is good but as a fellow human being, the least he could do was to be polite to a potential customer. Being turned away because he doesn't provide a service is completely understandable and acceptable, the disappointment is more about the way in which we were dealt with when he knew this isn't a project he could help with.
