Scheduled an appointment on Yelp and was seen right on time. Boris took my car in for a fairly simple repair request, the casing underneath my car was rubbing against my front tires when I turned the wheel. Since this was my beater car, he knew I did not want to put a bunch of money into it. Instead of turning me away since it was such a small profit job, he gladly finished securing the casing back into place and I was out within an hour. Since the dent was small, he suggested a protector to be installed under my front bumper since my car is so low. I drive a 2020 Subaru BRZ. I had a few scratches and dents on my Tesla Model S. Initially I wanted this to be fixed by Tesla body shop, but they were not responsive and I waited a couple of months just for them to reply, so I decided to find another place to fix my car. Since Tesla is a somewhat uncommon vehicle, made mostly from aluminum it is hard to find a body shop that can fix it. I found Bob's Bridge Collision Center here on Yelp and I decided to go there because of a good rating. After I submit a quote I got a reply in about 10 minutes on Friday at 8 pm and I had an appointment on Monday. I really liked that fast responsiveness! On Monday I dropped off my car at Bob's Bridge Collision Center and Boris who is really nice person to deal with also gave me a ride to car rental nearby. There were some difficulties with timing because I had GIECO check for another body shop and Boris had to deal with GEICO to fix it. From my side I didn't have to do anything, it just took like a couple of days more than I expected. Boris not only did a great job fixing my vehicle, which actually looked brand new, but I also couldn't tell that that side was actually dented. But Boris also did some inspection of my vehicle pointing to a few minor issues that I haven't noticed before which Tesla can fix for free. Fixed my 2013 Ford C- Max for me a couple times. This time he made several repairs after my tire picked up a jigsaw blade in San Francisco and my tire blew out on the Bay Bridge. The tire shredded up and damaged the inside of my wheelwell, the mud flap, and an evap. tube that runs under my car. He cleared the trouble codes that this blowout caused by fixing everything. I spoke through Yelp with these gentlemen for a quote on a car that the guy who hit us wanted to avoid insurance on. I sent pictures and let them know I am inexperienced dealing with insurance or cash only accidents for repair. They helped me along, provided me the quote and I provided it to the other party. He declied to pay cash so we took it to insurance and these guys helped us with that process. I had another accient that I had been rear ended that I had not repaired yet and decided to give both jobs to these guys for being super helpful. When we decided that it would have to be through insurance Boris helped us to call the companies with him to secure our rental and get an adjuster dispatched for each issue. The rental place was closing at 2pm and it took the insurance companies far too long to help us, but Boris got it approved with moments to spare, THEN he got us from his shop to the rental place before it closed. These guys know service. They made what I expected to be a horribly painful event and made sure we got through it with as little difficulty as possible. Boris even drove the check to me so I could sign it for him, taking time out of his busy day, instead of having me uber to him. He was polite, friendly and an absolute joy to deal with. The repair work was fantastic and I would reccomend these guys to anyone who appreciate down to earth people helping you instead of big business screwing you. Dealing with automotive stuff is always a pain because I just feel like I am walking into money pit. I know my repairs and what not will be covered by the other driver's insurance but I'm still a little ball of stress when it comes to this sort of stuff. I just dropped my vehicle off 2 days ago and I have absolutely no worries. When I was looking for an auto repair shop near my home I came across this shop and they replied so quickly to my Yelp message. When I dropped off my car, Boris was so kind and informative about the whole process. Then after processing my paperwork he dropped me off at a nearby Enterprise location so I could pick up my rental. 8/20/19 update: I picked up my car yesterday and it's back to its former glory, I'd say even better! My car was completed just a day short of a week when I dropped it off. Considering how busy it looks there, and past experience elsewhere I was expecting it to finish at or around 2 weeks. The other driver's insurance really low-balled the estimate and quoted used parts. Boris was able to get new parts AND have it covered by insurance. Additionally, I had some minor additional abrasions that were unrelated but also treated by Boris and his team. I was not expecting those to be remotely treatable but he was able to fix those too! Wow, all I can say is wow. I hate dealing with the Ford dealership and have had nothing but trouble with my 2010 Ford Escape. Since hitting 100,000 miles, two power windows has broken, the transmission needed to be rebuilt and the speakers stopped working. The last straw was when the lift gate would not open. I've learned not to take it to the Fremont Ford dealership. I've learned that body shops are the way to go for electrical repair.
