Dr Pepper (creamsoda flavor) - they have variety of soft drinks, coffee, teas available
    Sami B.

I needed some warm food, I entered this place to have some good / no gimmick delicious meal. Their combination plate with 2 different kind of kabobs (chicken & beef skewers) was very warm and delicious I chose hummus & rice as side (they also have Green salad) and overall it tasted very good. Good portion, very healing warm meal. I rarely drink soda & The Dr Pepper Creamsoda flavor was a first for me, surprisingly very good. I have yet to try their falafel, but it looked very good I'm getting it next time. The staffs are always very very kind and friendly. Thank you so much !

Be careful the plates in no way represent what u get. If u want what u see they will charge you 5-10 fee

Horrible food. They put steak with rice and humans/pita on display. They actually give you chuck beef with no humus or pita, that would be 6 bucks more please.would not refund money even though they are obviously hustling few extra bucks. Problem is every business is hustling the public 5 bucks at a time.........

i did not know i could get mediterranean food in ktown!!!! i ordered takeout and the food was ready really quickly. the lady making my smoothie seems to own the place and she was so sweet. the feel of the restaurant was like a neighborhood cafe for bites and coffee. since i'm vegan, i ordered the falafel plate and mango orange smoothie. the falafel plate comes with a full box of food - very tasty at a great price. i'm already excited to go back and try their tabbouleh salad :) thank you bob's for an amazing start to my dayb

Just tried the Beef Kabob plate today. The meat is a little on the fried side, but it's not thing that can't be fixed with some butter and salt. The rice is a bit on the mushy side, so if you are picky about your rice-- I recommend asking for a substitute or get a lot of salad and dressing. For $11, I would consider the portion of the beef kabob fair. Alternatively, you can order a side of Hummus & pita to make your own pita sandwich as well!. Service is friendly and the cashier and cooks remembered me which made me happy.

    Combination plate with hummus

Good spot for lunch, usually get the combination plate, hummus is on point extremely recommend! Good service, very friendly

Delicious, no frills hole-in-the-wall! Server was really friendly and made all our food to-order. Everything was so tasty and fresh, though you wouldn't expect it just from looking at the place. The pita bread deserves a special shout out because it tasted so good on its own, and it was perfectly rolled out (pita bread isn't supposed to be thick, folks). Ask for extra garlic sauce because that stuff is BOMB. Our least favorite item was the falafel, which was a little airy and chalky, and missing the bite you get from more coarsely ground chickpeas + that herby punch that makes falafel so moreish. Overall though, we really enjoyed our meal and thought it tasted better than other pricier Mediterranean establishments we've been to. There is also free parking in the back. The next time you are on Wilshire, skip the chain restaurants and give this place a chance -- you'll be glad you did.

    dry, tough, flavorless

Stopped by because it was next to my chiropractor. The meat was soooo tough, had no flavor, and the whole meal was just dry. The worker was so kind I didn't want to complain, I probably won't be back.

Lentil Soup served w/a side of pita bread. Small Cup $3 & Large Cup $4.50. Peppery kick to it, but I would definitely get it again.

This location on Wilshire Blvd in Koreatown is the smallest of the three I've visited, with under 10 seats available. It's a compact shop, and most customers opt for takeout. It's a narrow shop, and most customers take their orders to-go. I've previously enjoyed the La Paradiso and La Toscana, with the La Paradiso being my personal favorite. For our first visit with our son, we asked the staff for recommendations, and they suggested either the Venice Beach (Turkey) or the New Yorker (Roast Beef). The staff was incredibly generous, offering a roast beef sample, which our son loved! We also appreciated them providing ice and straws for our water. We ordered the New Yorker ($19.00) with roast beef, porcini cream, tomato, and arugula. The sandwich was thoughtfully cut in half, perfect for sharing. The schiacciata bread boasts a crispy exterior and a soft, chewy interior, which beautifully complements the meats and cheeses. We opted to substitute the porcini cream for mozzarella, which was sliced into perfect bite-sized pieces and tasted incredibly fresh. The roast beef was thinly sliced and tender, the tomatoes were fresh and sliced to perfection, and the arugula added a delightful peppery crunch. It's a well-balanced sandwich and one of the best in LA. We would definitely order it again. A big thank you to the female staff member who expertly cut the meat and offered samples, assisting us in making the perfect choice for my son's sandwich. This experience was truly a positive one for our family. I would definitely return to AAV for the excellent food and service. Given the small size of the shop, takeout is recommended, especially during peak hours. The sandwiches at AAV are so good! Fuggedaboutit!

Even so, I probably won't go back. We showed up and the place was pretty much empty, with just a couple of tables occupied. We ordered, sat down, and waited. And waited. I couldn't help but notice that all of the tables that were there before us had been served, while bags of food kept going out the door for takeout orders. I understand that this isn't fast food, but seriously, I have an issue with waiting 35 minutes for a fried chicken sandwich, especially when the restaurant isn't busy. Adding insult to injury, when our food finally arrived, the server said, "Thank you so much for being patient!" That made me wonder if this kind of wait is normal. Instead of acknowledging that something had gone wrong, it felt like the long wait was simply being brushed off. The frustrating part is that the sandwich and fries were excellent. The chicken sandwich really may have been the best I've ever had, which makes the whole experience even more disappointing. Great food, friendly people, but a 35-minute wait for a chicken sandwich in an almost empty restaurant is enough to keep me from going back.

On our first visit, the cashier highly recommended the Di Parma, so of course we had to try it. It comes with 18-month Prosciutto di Parma, handmade burrata, fresh pesto, truffled cream, chopped pistachios, and baby arugula. Such a good combo. Everything tasted fresh and balanced, and the truffled cream and pistachios added just enough richness without overpowering the prosciutto and burrata. We decided to try Lorenzo since we'd heard so much about their sandwiches too, but it just didn't hit the spot for us the way Mamie did. We found ourselves comparing it back to the Di Parma the entire time. Mamie has definitely become our go-to when we're craving a really good Italian sandwich. The fillings were fine. I felt the tuna sandwich was carelessly made and the ingredients were just slapped on instead of being evenly spread so you get a little bit of everything with each bite. Some bites were all Calabrian chile and no tuna and some bites were all tuna and no chile. My companion loved the Rimini more. This might be a one and done for me. It was getting late, so while I waited for the kid in the car at their activity, I went on The Heights website found an order form and placed an order for some sammies all in 5 minutes. I didn't even ask the hubs or the vegetarian kid what they wanted. I went with what I thought they'd like. 15-minutes later, I was picking the sandwiches up at the walk-in only shop. There was no line and better yet, they were wrapped up and ready to go when I walked in. The smiling lady asked if I wanted napkins or utensils. They have case after case of cold drinks so we picked out a couple of drinks, paid for those and left. It was easy and fast. Enjoyed the yumminess at home. I normally would save a half for another meal but my "Pasadena" hit the spot that I finished it up all at once. Quality bread, meats, cheese, fillings aka all the ingredients...to boot! PS the kid loved theirs and so did the hub. Thanks for making dinner: easy and delicious! There are no pictures because it was too delicious to take the time out and take any. Just order.

He coursed out our orders perfectly, gave great recommendations of places to stop while in the city and was a very easy going guy. Bread & Butter - 8.6 Not the best bread starter I have ever had but worth getting. Especially, if you order additional entrees that you can dip it in. The bread was hot and fresh, which are two of the most important things. Tuna Crudo - 9.1 The variation when we went contained lemon confit, thin sliced serrano peppers and basil. The lemon was outstanding and tasted like lemonade candy which paired well with the serrano and basil. Market Lettuces - 8.5 The cheese on the salad, ubriaco rosso, was delicious and it was our first time trying it. The greens were really fresh and lemon vinaigrette wasn't overpowering. Henrietta Potatoes - 8.9 I mean fried potatoes can only be so good. With that said this is about as good fried potatoes can be. They were soft, yet very crispy. The parm on top adds the perfect salt to balance it all out. The 8.9 is a reflection of how it compares to all foods or what we ate during the meal. If if was a rating of fried potatoes, it would be higher. Pork Collar - 9.4 It was great! It was almost as if you were eating a bite of steak. The temperature in which they decide for final preparation was perfect. The flavor was great and contained a hint of smoke. Ricotta Dumplings - 9.6 I would have to put this in my top 10 or 20 best dishes I have ever had. The dumplings were cooked perfectly. The star of the show is the broth. Hard to imagine the amount of mushrooms needed to get the depth of flavor and bold taste of this broth. The dish was comforting, delicious and something I could have eaten more of even after getting full. This is also something you'll want to save a little bread for. Baked Alaska - 8.2 They put their own spin on it. Instead of using ice cream, they use made in house tangerine sherbet. The bottom had a crumbled cookie base. When you have a bit that contains the toasted meringue, the crumbled cookie and just a little of the sherbet it tastes like lucky charms. Overall, awesome experience. Service/waiter gets a 10/10.
