Everyone raves about this place so my husband and I decided to try it. We ordered a pizza and as we were in the middle of eating it I found a bug in my slice of pizza. It definitely was baked on. I was disgusted and disappointed. I decided to call the next morning to explain what happened and they didn't care at all. I didn't want anything from them but they could have at least made the effort to show they actually care about their customers. ok so after ordering a spinach tomato and garlic pizza and a bob's special our total came out to be $13.50 what the heezy ?! i thought dang what kinda rip off place is this? man we only pay 3 bucks a slice at home (Bronx pizza) when we got our slices it made so much more sense.. an order is actually two huge slices and even though it was pretty huge i gotta say the pizzas in SD is better... the spinach tomato was really good but bob's special was soggy and wasn't that awesome. the pizzas were overall kinda grease so 3.5 stars for you because the garlic crust was really good. read more

They call Bob's a Boston style pizza place, which was weird to me considering I didn't know Boston had a particular take on pizza. This seemed like NY style pizza with some extra grease. The slices here are HUGE - 1/4 of the pie starting at $5. We got one slice of spinach + garlic and one spinach + garlic + tomato. Both slices were awesome. I would def come back BTW: if you go here, don't feed the birds. They are super aggressive because no one reads signs and keeps heir food to themselves. read more

Love this place. It has a mix of a Boston/New York pizza place. Pick a type of pizza and they give you two big slices for a decent price. The calzones are especially good (my favorite) and worth stopping by for. It's a good Location near the beach and other activities so it's great for after a day of fun. The prices are pretty reasonable too. They don't seem to Like tourist much but will help out a lot on lowering your cost if your local. I'm so upset, I've lived in Oahu for a year and I've never.....had pizza this good in Hawaii! The pizza was absolutely beautiful - perfect cheese & topping distribution and just the right level of crispiness. I just wish I had taken a picture, but I couldn't wait to try it. I'm absolutely obsessed with pizza, and I've been to over 30 restaurants looking for the best pie on Oahu - I'm upset that it took me so long to find Bobs but now I know there's no going back! It's also kind of pricy because while the slices are large, 4 slices are about $30. Also, they only have calzones at the beginning of the day, because again, nothing is fresh and just reheated. I jumped on my iPhone and used AroundMe to locate the closest pizza joint in Kailua and Bob's Pizzeria popped up. I went in and was greeted by friendly faces and very good customer service. I order a large pepperoni and sausage pizza which came out to like $25. While waiting for them to reheat the pizza, I saw a pepperoni and sausage calzone which look delicious for $6 and ordered that as well. Let me tell ya, the pizza are awesome. Easily the best pizza I've had on the island. Doesn't really hold a candle to the Pizza in NYC....but they invented Pizza, right? Their's should be the best! We had vouchers for "a slice" of pizza and were each given a quarter of a pizza. The toppings were fairly generous ('cept for the cheese...which I always want MORE of). The best part? The bottom of the pizza was crispy! And it didn't flop all over the place. You could hold the slice by the crust end and it wouldn't collapse all over your hand. Stiff and tasty. Pretty good for hawaii. (I am not comparing it to ny/boston/chicago piza) We've passed by here a couple times and decided to stop on a sunday afternoon. When you walk in there's all the pies in the display case w/labels of what each is. We tried the mushroom and a special (onion, tomato, bacon + pepperoni + lots of pepper = SOOO GOOD. i recommend!) Each "slice" is 2 pieces and it costs 4.99 per "slice". A pretty good deal since most single slices cost 3-4 dollars. A fountain soda is $1.00 and there's no liquor/beer, but they have bottled water, gatorade, and some other bottled drinks too. I had the heated pizza and it was nice, warm, fresh, and crispy. All the "extra's" are available at the counter (red pepper, tabasco) i think garlic sauces are extra. It just takes a few moments for the pizza to come out, and there's seating in the patio area. 6-7 tables that seat 4 people and a counter with stools...so it's nice. The workers are friendly, and i just love love love the fact that the pizza slices are double and cost about 4.99. I've had boston's, and I prefer the crispyness of Bob's pizzeria. My friend said this was truly the absolutely worst pizza he's ever had. Thin sauce barely painted onto the crest, less than 10 pepperonis and five anchovies. A better title would be Bob's breadcrusts . My half of the pizza was the same I ordered pepperoni sausage and olives and it was very scarce. Basically cardboard with no dots of things on them. Delicious!! Thin pizza- I got the spinach and garlic and I looooove garlic so it was PERFECTION. Staff is very friendly and the pizza came out very fast :) They have a small area to sit that is covered with some barstools as well.
