I ordered a veggie egg white omelette which says on the menu, comes with red & green peppers, mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes, broccoli and onions. I said just hold the green peppers. I also got pumpernickel bagel toasted and scooped. I got the tiny omelette. Let alone it had no green peppers, it had NO peppers at all, or mushrooms or tomatoes when I inspected it. The pumpernickel bagel was a light brown, not a typical looking or tasting pumpernickel bagel I ever had. It was barely toasted and just doughy tasting and rubbery. I didn't feel like hassling to taking it back and waiting to have them remake everything. The check when I looked, charged 3% credit card fee ( I know many do now, but at least have a sign or noted on menu), $.75 egg surcharge fee ( I know the current egg problem), $1.25 egg white charge. They even charge sales tax, on the 3% credit card fee ( that's not right). This was my 2nd time there, last being 2 yrs ago +/-, and it wasn't really good then. First time coming here and will never come again! It wasn't the food but it was the way a Uber driver was mistreated while waiting for his order! The Uber driver was waiting for a pick up order for about 10 min and decided to take a set at one of the tables- mind you there are about 10 other empty tables. He was reading a newspaper minding his own business when I'm guessing the owner walks over and snatches the newspaper out of the man's hands and tells him that those newspapers are for customers only!! I'm 100 percent postive if this Uber driver wasn't black this would have NEVER happened and I'm the last person to think something is about race but this was definitely about deep hatred of a person based on their color! I would never recommend this place. Rude owner. I waited 40 minutes for my order and owner yelled at me and told me "there are 4 other bagel Places on federal, take your business somewhere else." after waiting 20 minutes with my 3 children I simply asked where my order was and then his excuse was they were inundated. it was his error and he didn't hand in the ticket to the kitchen. Sign on the front door: FACE MASKS ARE MANDATORY Unfortunately one Male patron observed during our visit, was either illiterate, privileged, or too stupid to understand the concept, left after walking to refill his coffee and came back 10 minutes later, still without a mask, without drawing management's attention. This is the third time I went to Boca Bagel Bar, and unfortunately... while their bagels are top notch... they were out of whitefish at 9:30a on a Saturday... I asked for olive & pimento cream cheese, which they had made the first time I was there... the second time I was in the establishment, I left immediately when they said they were out of green olive & pimento cream cheese (albeit, the gentlemen behind the counter offered to make me it regardless), and now, they were too busy to make it and it wasn't even on the menu... so, I don't know at this point. My Dad's nova was hard... didn't look fresh and while he thought the sandwich was okay... he was upset about the way the nova looked and they were out of whitefish so early on a Saturday morning. I asked for a schmear of scallion cream cheese and I never received it. I even went to the lady behind the counter and asked again and she thought the kitchen had provided it, which they did not. I will say the owner was extremely gracious and "left her register" to give me a cinnamon raisin bagel and schmear of scallion when we walked out... the only reason why they are getting two stars. Last they had pastrami nova on their yelp page and they didn't have it in stock... we were told, like sable, they didn't have it all the time. Finding a bagel / deli place in Boca has truly proven to be a hard find. We then did a Pepsi Challenge with Palm Beach Bagel... and, surprisingly, Boca Bagel Bar, actually won the challenge. Though, so far, besides the platters we received for Yom Kippur Break the Fast... Way Beyond Bagels is so far truly the best in Boca / Deerfield. My $0.02. read more

I was looking for a good bagel sandwich place while in the area so we stopped in for a quick breakfast. I had the weekend sandwich. This sandwich had all my favorite things.. egg, cheese, bacon, hash brown, and cream cheese. I ordered my egg over easy cause I LOVE runny yolk but unfortunately my yolk was not runny. My fiancé ordered the same sandwich but as a wrap (minus cream cheese) but they did not include a hash brown , instead they gave him a hash brown on the side. My husband and I are visiting from out of town. Stopped in this place and are we glad we did. The food is all homemade and out of this world delicious! The owner greeted us at the counter and was very friendly and made you feel welcome. After placing the order I saw some egg salad that was displayed. I commented on how good it looked and after we sat down outside at our table ahe brings a small bowl of egg salad with two forks. Again... excellent cust. service! Food was delicious! Amazing bagels and even more amazing was their customer service!!! Our daughter was getting married in Boca. Never having been, I chose Boca Bagel Bar because of the good reviews. Boy was I blessed to have connected with Antoinette!!! She put me at ease right away and assured me that everything would be perfect on the morning of my daughter's wedding!  We had a lovely bagel platter delivered to our hotel right on time!! The bagels were incredible  ... served with a wonderful variety of cream cheese, butter and jelly.  Coffee was wonderful too!  It was so incredible to know that Antoinette was behind the scenes making sure that all 15 of us, gathered for makeup and hair, had a delicious start to the special day!!! While I am not from Boca, I would not hesitate to recommend this place to all visitors, residents and especially all brides out there making Boca Raton your destination wedding! read more

Now one of my top 3 go-to Deli spots in Delray/Boca area. They were super fast and the food was A+. My son and I are always on the lookout for excellent Deli spots. We are from NY/NJ and having a spot that tastes like home is a must for us. I have to say, the service and food was top notch... and they actually knew what "Taylor ham" was (if you're from up north and have moved down south you know that struggle lol) Not only did they know what it was but they actually knocked it out of the park according to my son who is an expert TH&C judge. The Sobo is a signature sandwich of theirs and it's got such a savory flavor- well worth trying if you love breakfast sandwiches. The Cinn Rasin bagel w CC was just right too. 10/10 Guys!! Terrible bagels. Repeat terrible bagels. They are that bad. Boca Bagel Bar is the closest bagel shop to my house and in a region of bad bagels it stands out - and that's comparing it to the awful bagels at Einstein Bagels, for Boca Bagel Bar to be worse than Einstein Bagels - then it's saying a lot about its awfulness. So i called to let them know because i paid way more for a veggie omelete than i would have paid for a plain omelete which is what i was given i called and spoke to the "manager" Ronnie and he was very rude and dismissive he told me we made what was on the ticket there's nothing i can do for you. For someone whose office orders from here a few times a week this is the LAST time and when asked for owners info his answer is he won't help you either he will tell you the same thing i did.
