Bodega? More like bogus service. Can't comment on food or drinks.. because we sat at our table for over 40 minutes being told that someone would be right with us.. server walked by us numerous times. The hostess was so sweet, she tried to get the server to come over to us but that didn't work. A man, who I'm assuming was a manager even spoke to our server. One of the people in our group of 4 went to the bar to order drinks and was never acknowledged. We ended up walking out. Super bummed because there is so much potential there. They definitely need more staff and/ or more training for their current staff. read more

Went a few weeks back for a family celebration dinner. There were 15 of us so we had a reservation. We had one server, which could work, but this server unfortunately was not up to the task. She never asked if we wanted drinks or food throughout the evening. The only time you could get a drink or food is if you could catch her walking by. I was hoping to have a few drinks, but it was a chore to get served so I was only able to get one. There was never an official time that she asked all of us what we wanted to eat so parts of the table got their meals an hour apart. Some drinks were good and others were terrible - so a mixed bag. Most of the food and drinks were sub-par and overpriced for the quality. One strong exception is the caveman plate, which was delicious. The reason I'm spending time writing a review is because of the payment process. We had a large bill and paid using 3 credit cards asking for the bill to be split evenly between them. After we finished signing our receipts, we all go to leave. I am waiting for one of the kids to come out of the restroom when the waitress comes running to me asking me to pay another $175. I should have asked for her to show me the bill but I didn't and went ahead and paid. I still don't know what happened, but I left feeling awkward and a little robbed. Was really hoping to like this place, so this is a bummer. read more

First of all they would not seat us on a large table unless you had a party of 4. Second, I ordered a burger at the bar, we moved to a table and my friends ordered their food 30 minutes later and got it before o got mine. I had to ask the waitress twice about my burger, it came out about an hour later and to top it off it was the WRONG burger!!! Lastly when I asked for the check, I noticed they had already had the 20% tip selected...they charged a service fee for using credit card which was never mentioned when the check chino and out!!! The Besto Pesto was so salty in was inedible and the chicken with the it was incredibly dry. Husband ordered jalapeño poppers and they terrible as well. My husband made Valentine's Day reservations we arrived and they wanted to sit us at the bar 'HELL' no their excuse was that online reservations were not taken or appeared because something went wrong with their online service, well to me if online doesn't work take it off and have a second plan. Perfect location, horrible service. Bartender got mad that I seen her continue to use dirty drinking glasses after she tried scraping shit off the cup. First visit here...last visit, as well. The drinks were actually good, but I place a lot of importance on customer service and that's what this place lacks. We sat at a table next to the bar and were ignored by a couple of servers. Went to the bar and still had to wait to be acknowledged. Had the most amazing service and food at the Bodega Bar! Their firecracker salmon bites are superb, with just the perfect amount of heat, we also had the skinny Jean salad with salmon and it did not disappoint.
