This store sucks because of the staff that works there. I don't think they get paid they act careless. Starting with the front manager she is such a b** The cashier had me waiting for about 10min because one of the employee wanted change. Perla I think that is the cashier name or so that's what the receipt said.... Learn how to count girl go back to school she couldn't count eventually the female manager came and just stood there then decided to help her and the cashier just stood there like an idiot instead of charging me. By this time they where about 7 waiting in line... She didn't care, no apology what so ever. No comment sense of urgency or common sense to at least apologize for taking soo long. Ive been this market a number of times. They have weekly produce specials and some daily specials so make sure to check the ads. The marinated meats are good at a decent price. I just had their burrito and 12oz drink special for lunch. Its only $3.99 The burrito was a good size and filled with rice, beans, carnitas, white onion, and cilantro. Ive also had the $0.99 tamales too. Not bad for the price. read more

The meat/deli selection seems pretty decent. Staff has also been friendly in my experience. I'm probably not gong to go back for a couple of reasons. First, the price is actually much higher than what I expected. Can get loaves of wheat bread for about half as much at other places. The aisles are also very cramped; hard to navigate when you can't move two shopping carts through one aisle. The last thing that pushed me away was the hygienic/safety aspect. I bought a box of frozen corn dogs. When I took them home I opened the cardboard box and inside they were all green and smelled rancid. I immediately threw them out. Figured they must not have been stored properly. Probably still would've come back occasionally since it's close to where I'm at if it wasn't for that. read more

Not impressed with this Mexican market, I was hoping to score some homemade flour and corn tortillas but the staff informed me that they don't make tortillas at the store just pan dulce. Their pan dulce is ok but becomes hard after a day. Their produce section is very bad with most produce looking like it was old. I haven't tried any of their meat because it to also didn't look very fresh. Overall I come here for some pan dulce and Mexican cheese. It's hard to find a good Mexican store near me. read more

Great market! Was looking for authentic Oaxaca cheese, salsa roja and some poblanos. They had it all!

We came to the bodega just to buy Jello, but my boyfriend and I decided to try their pupusas. I'm a HUGE pupusas fan. We bought 1 pupusa just to try it out. It was kinda pricey I gotta admit. $4.08 for one pupusa! But it was REALLY delicious. We got a pupusa de chicharrón con queso. The cheese was stretchy and the Chicharrón had a good taste and it was a good size. It took 8 minutes for them to make my pupusa. Definitely coming back for more lol read more

Bodega Ranch market 4 in Los Angeles This store is so run down and bad customer service, the meat depatment smell like shit.Produce area looks real bad and they sell too many bad fruits.Who the hell is running this market.You can't really find what your looking for.This store is under bad managerment.This store needs better guidance.I really don't know if it's the same old Salvadorian manager by the name Oscar Herrado is still supervising this location if it is him bad managerment and really horrible customer service. read more

Avocado prices keep going up recently at other grocery stores. So, I figured, to go check out this place. The avocado 2 days ago had 2 prices. The "large", was 2 for $4.00. Or "small", 4 for $5.00. I compared the sizes and the "small" was almost the size of the "large". I got the 4 for $5.00. At other stores, it would be 4 small, very green and sometimes turns black inside immediately for 4 for $5.69 or $2.00 each. When I got home, I sliced one open and felt so happy to see the perfect green ripe color. Nice go to place for my avocados and red potatoes. read more

If I would've put my review up Saturday when I shopped here I would've gave 5 stars, but after that my rating definitely went down! Due to the fact that I purchased 2 blocks of cheese 1.99 each , on Sunday when I was getting ready to shred it I noticed it looked really weird sure enough I looked at the date and it was dated October 2 2015 !!! We are in December!!! I figured it may have just accidentally Been overlooked so I went back to the store and asked for the manager to see if I could just get another one . He said "ok " so I went back and literally EVERY single block of cheese for the "best yet " cheese was expired!!!! I found some dating back way to February 2015!!!!!!! I was extremely disgusted I went back up front and informed the manager about all the cheeses being expired by months and didn't get a apology or anything he didn't even seem very concerned about it! BEWARE of the expiration dates in this store because obviously they know they are selling expired stuff to their shoppers! read more

I come here mostly for the produce. They have great deals on fruit and veggies - way cheaper then any of the other big chain markets around the area. The meats I found were hit and miss but they recently did a grand re-opening and the quality of the meats look a lot better now. I also like the fresh baked breads they have on sale 4 - 5 for $1. The tamales are tasty and so are their fresh jugos they sale at the deli counter. read more

Great place to grab a papusa! On the weekends they make it with a griddle outside, so good. It comes with a cabbage salad and a type of salsa that are perfect accompaniments to the bean and cheese that I usually request to have in it. The cakes here are frosted with fluffy whipped cream. I bought a birthday cake (chocolate with whipped cream and oreo cookies) here and everyone really liked it. read more

Customer service dreadful! They don't speak basic English!!! The store, even if it's selling Mexican products is located in the USA, where the official language is English. Why don't the store owners make sure the employees undergo at least a short training teaching them the basics of the language spoken in the country of their current employment.? Do the owners want to make the store limited to Hispanic customers, or do they expect English speaking people to be their customers as well? Right now I'm simply unable to communicate to them (especially those working at Deli department) what I want, just because they cannot understand. In fact, they are very rude, they make customers wait ages for their attendance, they are reluctant about their jobs showing you clearly, that you're an intruder there. The basic rules concerning hygiene are violated. They prepare and serve food while sometimes scraching their faces and then, they take your money and give change. Without making an effort to wash their hands afterwards they procede to serve the next customer!!! Nobody there spares their energy to keep the tables and chairs clean, there are flies feeding upon the leftovers. The access to any napkins is a luxury there, you have to ask for them if you want to eat in, and sometimes they will tell you, that they are simply not available!!! The restroom is never available, just because it doesn't exist, and if it does, its location is a mystery. I'm really not able to recommend this place to anyone, unless the rules referring to customer service there are changed, and new regulations are introduced and immediately employed. read more

I usually visit this store for items like, limes, cilantro, tomatoes, onions, soda, water and always end up at the deli. The smell as you walk in makes me hungry every single time. This past Sunday I ordered the birria plate, comes with rice, beans and tortillas. It was delicious!! The horchata was good too, and for dessert there is a lot to choose from, arroz con leche, tres leches cake, but I went with freshly made sweet Mexican bread. Conchas are my favorite! On another note I tend to stay away from the meat section. Seems to be a bit pricey and not very good quality in my opinion. read more

Love this place. The hot food section has the best horchata ever and now they're even cooking up fresh pupusas! Delicious. We like to buy pre-marinated meats to grill at home. Our favorites is carne asada and the al pastor. One star deduction because the checkout line is always ridiculously long but it doesn't stop us from coming back. read more
