    Burrata with pear

Loved this cute wine bar! It's a hidden gem in north beach. The staff felt so warm and welcoming and were very helpful. The ambiance of this place is great for a date night or to come with some friends and order a bottle of wine. I loved that this place had chilled wine, on a warm day that's exactly what you need! We also got burrata with pear as an app and it was delicious, it's their seasonal dish. Few things to note/plan for, the bar is a small cozy spot so make sure to come before rush hour to get a good table. This is strictly a wine and beer place, don't expect cocktails. They have some snacks/apps that I'd recommend! Would definitely come again.

Perfect spot for a night cap. Seating can be a bit tricky but that all part of the experience. The food was great and smelled amazing. I accidentally ordered the wrong drink and the staff were super cool about it and took it off our tab, which was much appreciated. Great place and great staff!

    Short rib taco #1/3

Recently was up in the area on a Saturday early enough to try their breakfast burritos. We tried short rib and I think sausage. They were tasty - especially appreciate the tots - but didn't think it lives up to the hype. Would not wait in line or plan my Saturday around this.

This location is currently being remodeled, therefore, they have been selling their famous breakfast burritos outside this location. They sell breakfast burritos in this location on Saturday. They have been cooking their burritos at their sister wine bar, Celeste, but they are still as good as I remember. I went on a Saturday at 930 am and there was no wait (maybe bc the actual wine bar isn't open). They have chorizo, sausage, vegetarian, and short rib burritos. The short rib is amazing, but I wish the salsa wasn't that watery. Can't wait to come back when the wine shop is open again.

Trying the popular breakfast burritos at Bodega SF (700 Columbus Ave, near Washington Square Park) - not to be confused with the Bodega Vietnamese Restaurant! They offer four types of breakfast burritos only on Saturday from 9AM until sell out! You have your choice of bacon, sausage, pork verde, or short rib. We tried the short rib and pork verde. The short rib was so yummy and flavorful and pork verde was meaty and tender, tater tots were crisp and salsa was excellent! We got there at 8:25am and the restaurant opened at 9am. We were 2nd in line and after ordering just waited 10 minutes to get food. Parking nearby was not bad at all either. So glad we got to try! It was worth the Hype!

I LOVE these burritos. The line can be long, but it is worth the wait. The hash browns are always so crispy to add a nice crunch to the burrito. Their chorizo is house-made and very flavorful. My absolute favorite is the pork chili verde.

i never bother to write reviews but 5 hours later I'm still bothered by this $14 breakfast burrito that left me super disappointed. Treked across the city just to try the highly rated breakfast burrito. got at 10:20 surprisingly a short line. unfortunately sold out of short rib but ordered two sausage burritos and a chili verde. get home eager to try. Burritos were tiny, nowhere near the size of a mcdonald's breakfast burrito. Not only that there was absolutely NO chili verde in my chili verde burrito! only two small slices of avocado, tots and egg. what a let down, was really looking forward to it too.

cute vibes, by the same people who own celeste and key klub and the vibes are very similar with the electric lights that set the mood smaller than i expected but in the cutest area! north beach! wine selection was smaller than expected but all the ones we got were so so good bites are all $15 and the burrata was a great bite while drinking

It's get busy and for good reason! Music is good and really sets the vibe. It's a relatively small area so it can get packed quickly! We went for a pre-dinner snack but would totally go back for more of their food items - the party next to us were ordering a lot of things that looks good! There was also a great wine selection as well. I also went back in the morning for their breakfast burritos and they were PHENOMENAL!! Not only were the burritos good but the sauces that came with them really topped it off.

I hate the wait but I love their mimosas and the original burrito! Also, the vibe is very posh but its up my alley with the food quality

Came here after work with a big group and sat at the largest table in the front. The restaurant is on the smaller side so I would recommend coming with a small group Definitely a cute spot for after work or on the weekends and food and drinks were all delicious! The Bodega Melt was so good I'd go back just to eat it again!

Bodega is great. I went there for a breakfast burrito. They have the restaurant closed off, you order at the door and they call out the order at the window. The wait for the breakfast burrito is about an 40min - but it felt quick because of the energy of the people and they play bad bunny inside - the staff goes hard. It got cold while waiting because: San Francisco. So bring a jacket. Was able to snag the only table (somehow!?). And since I was with my girlfriend - I felt like flowers for the table would be nice. I asked the girl working at the register if I could get some from the tables inside - she looked confused AF. But I explained what was asking and that I'd give them back - and then she grabbed them for me. She was nice. The soy chorizo was better flavor than the bacon burrito a but both tasty. Great job Bodega.

In one of the most touristy areas of the city, it's great to have a proper taproom. With all the bustle and noise of the other businesses around, the taproom is also a quieter area. They have a bar area inside, but the great place to sit is outside on the pier in a private area accessible only through the bar area. They have a great merchandise area with specially branded items for this location in San Francisco proper. They have a large tap list as well, they really lean into great IPAs, especially hazies but also offer lighter beers. They have a lot of cans for takeout too. The bartender was excellent at dealing with people clearly not used to going to breweries, but also made us feel welcome and shared a bit about how the space is going. Prices are reasonable, they offer small sizes, half pours, or full pours. If you're in this area and need a beer, this a great place to stop for one.

The outdoor deck overlooks the marina, so you get a great view of the boats along with a nice cool breeze, definitely the highlight of the visit. They don't serve food, but you can order from the nearby Taco Cantina, and they'll deliver it right to your table. My sister and her boyfriend each tried a couple of beers and really enjoyed them. Ordering was done through a QR code, and the service was surprisingly quick and easy. Now, if you're like me and NOT a beer drinker, there really isn't much to choose from, so keep that in mind before stopping by. One last thing... the food prices around Pier 39 are NUTS! So, if you're planning to eat, either be prepared for the tourist pricing or grab a bite before you get there. Overall, if you're in the area and enjoy craft beer, I'd definitely recommend checking it out for the views, atmosphere, and brews!

Now the food - holy cow it was delicious. And I was impressed by the coffee too, it was really good! Avocado Toast with potatoes - 5 out of 5 stars = my over easy eggs were cooked to perfection. I mean perfection. The avocado was fresh and plentiful on the delicious sourdough bread, which held up. There was some kind of cole slaw/radishes on top that were pefect addition - very tasty. And the breakfast potatoes - I am not a fan of this style, but these were so darn good, perfectly seasoned and cooked, they were absolutely amazing. Eggs Benedict - hubby said it was awesome, English muffins held up and the eggs were perfect, delicious hollandaise. Eggs and Bacon = really tasty bacon, but not my son's cup of tea - he is not the maple/applewood smoked kinda guy, he likes his bacon plain, but I found it delicious, more for mom. Like everywhere, you can tell they are understaffed and have to hustle. I do not envy the service industry these days, expectations to do more with less and deal with rude tourists and entitled people. Boris, our server was awesome - very kind, we sat for a bit as he tended to other tables, but I could sit in that restaurant and stare all day long, it is that cool. Highly recommend, another stop for our city adventures!

We arrived a little after 9:00 a.m., and the restaurant was already full. There was a line for a…read moretable, which was understandable, and fortunately the wait to be seated wasn't terribly long. Unfortunately, that's where the experience started to go downhill. Once we were seated, we were told they didn't have any half-and-half for coffee, although whole milk was available. We then waited over 30 minutes just to place our order, and eventually had to ask someone to come take it. The restaurant was clearly busy, but it also seemed very understaffed. I ordered eggs, sausage, potatoes, and sourdough toast. The eggs were good, the potatoes were fine, but the toast didn't come with jelly. I also had to refill my own coffee several times, and I noticed other customers doing the same. Overall, breakfast took close to two hours from the time we arrived, including the initial wait for a table. That's a very long time for breakfast, especially with two toddlers. My wife ordered yogurt, which was served on a very hot plate, apparently just washed, and the yogurt itself was warm. Luckily, my son's yogurt was not. My other son ordered pancakes, but after waiting so long, we ended up giving him chips from the convenience store at the front desk because he was understandably losing patience. There were also a couple of spills at our table--one from my son and one involving coffee. We were given tiny 2-by-2-inch beverage napkins to clean them up ourselves. I certainly understand that spills happen, especially with toddlers, and we weren't expecting someone to clean up every little mess. However, in other restaurants, I've had staff offer to help when something like this happens, so the lack of assistance stood out. The juice was also surprisingly expensive and came in very small glasses, more like old-fashioned cocktail glasses than what you'd expect for breakfast. To be fair, the food itself was mostly decent. The biggest problem was the service and the amount of time everything took. The staff seemed overwhelmed and understaffed, and unfortunately that made what should have been a relatively simple family breakfast into a nearly two-hour ordeal. I'd give the food 3 stars, but the overall experience was closer to 2 stars because of the service, long waits, and lack of attention to the basics.
