I have used Body Builders on various occasions over the past 17 years. The shop is run like a fine oiled machine! The staff is friendly and considerate of your time. I have never had a problem with the quality of their workmanship and never had to bring my car back for additional repairs or paint issues. The work is completed in a timely fashion and if there are any set backs or problems they are quick to let you know. The front office is kept nice and clean and even provide free beverages. Many insurance companies will give you their "preferred shops" because it benefits them with a reduced price. However, you are entitled to take it to a shop of your choosing...and if you choose Body Builders you will not regret it! read more

Let me first say that this is my first Yelp review after many years of using Yelp. Body Builders Automotive service made me compelled to do so. I think that says something! I can't say enough about the professionalism, care, customer service and repair job. This place is simply the best. My car was in an accident and I was referred to them by Geico. First, they are a one stop shop. Everything you need is under one branch. The repair shop, insurance company as well as rental care service. I never had to worry about anything. Second, I wanted to thank Body Builders Repair for going above and beyond with their service and patience. Special thank you to Joe from Body Builders for taking extra time to make sure everything was perfect with the car once I left. He even went for a ride with me to make sure the car was exactly as expected. Their customer service is exceptional. Very calm and helpful in what can be a stressful job. The blush is off the rose" as they say I've used Body Builders a number of times in the past for family cars. I've previously had good experiences and have recommended them to friends and family. This time... not so much. It looks like a new group of people. The work seems to be fine and they are still very polite, but the office is a bit of a s*** show as my daughter likes to say. When we got the initial quote they told us they could have the work done in 4 days subject to the more detailed examination after they started the work. They start the work and find that they need to add additional cost to their quote. It's all downhill from there. They don't call for the routine update and when I call (2 weeks later) it's clear that they haven't followed up with the insurance company and haven't started the work. Ms X has been out of the office and nobody is following up in her absence. Management is asleep at the switch. If I hadn't called I'd probably still be waiting. The mad scramble to catch up begins and of course they claim it's all the insurance company's fault. That seems unlikely although the insurance may not have been as prompt as they could have been. I suspect BBA gave them the wrong claim number and the insurance company didn't recognize it. That's what happened with the rental car. The claim # was wrong and suddenly I'm getting bills from the rental car company. It all gets straightened out, but only after I invest hours of my time. In the end, I'm without my car for the better part of 4 weeks. Very disappointing. We'll likely be trying someone else next time. read more

I purchased my first new car and two months later it was damaged by a scrap piece of metal flying out of a truck. It needed body work and a new windshield. I was so anxious about where to take it to look perfectly brand new till I came here. This place is phenomenal!!! Everything else was as smooth as possible. I brought my car to Bodybuilders to be repaired after an accident I had. The body work done on my vehicle looks fantastic. My vehicle was repaired in a timely manner. When I picked it up, all repairs were reviewed by inspecting the vehicle and going down the list line item by line item, explaining the work done and the time it took to complete each task. Bodybuilders washed my car and cleaned it on the inside, as well. During the repair process, they kept me up to date via email. In addition to the body work, I had to have an O2 sensor replaced, as I'd failed my emissions test. They replaced it and the charge was extremely reasonable. While my vehicle was being repaired, I needed a rental, and the convenience of having the Enterprise office right at Bodybuilders made it so much easier because I just drove away in the rental vehicle and dropped it off when I picked my car up. The staff is very, very accommodating...friendly and thorough. The waiting room is comfortable and complimentary coffee and drinks are available for customers! They even have Saturday hours and for people like me that work during the week it's so helpful to know I don't have to take time off work to drop off or pick up my car. Bodybuilders work is guaranteed for as long as you own your vehicle...you're hard-pressed to find companies that stand behind their work like that nowadays. I give Bodybuilders a two thumbs up and an A+ and highly recommend them as a place you can count on for superior work and service!!! read more

BODY WORK: I have taken my car(s) to them on 2 occasions for body work after accidents while insured with Geico. The repair process was painless, and the work quality is exceptional. Once, they went over the quoted time, but I had a courtesy rental car, so no big deal in my world, the expected overage in time was communicated to be as soon as it was apparent. What more could you want? Right. {My husband had his car repaired at a competitor (it was an insurance issue) and right after the warranty on the work ran out, 3 things went wrong.} OTHER WORK: Also, very shortly after the last accident, my check engine light went on and I took it in to make sure it wasn't related somehow to the accident. It was not. But they replaced the cylinder for me at a reasonable cost. (I had previously had all cylinders replaced elsewhere within the past year). Recently, another cylinder failed...actually 3 at once failed. Clearly there is an underlying engine problem in my 13+ year old SUV. They diagnosed it for free, and gave me an HONEST opinion to sell it/donate it based on their full examination of the car (oil leak, rusty carborator, blah blah blah..expensive stuff). They could easily have repaired the cylinders (as warranties had already expired) and sent me on my merry way, only to have me deal with same problem again in a year-or-so. ****I WISH THERE WAS A SEPARATE RATING FOR ETHICS*** read more

I'm very pleased with the service I received on my van from Body Builders. My driver's side door was damaged in a collision and needed to be replaced. They replacement door had some wind noise and, it turned out, a leak. They got it in to repair right away and then offered to drop the vehicle back at my house, which saved me a HUGE hassle. I was rear ended on New Year's Eve and had to deal with a terrible adjuster from an insurance that I don't want to mention. Sam and Joe made everything extremely smooth from estimate to pick up. It was a fantastic change from how my 2015 ended. Sam walked me through the entire process and offered to arrange a rental car to be at the shop. Joe was extremely helpful with determining when I could drop the car off and how long the repairs would take.I still had to deal with the adjuster from hell but I was extremely grateful that my car was in the professional hand at body builders. read more

Incompetent or just no integrity...you decide. I made a deal with these guys to paint a bumper cover for my car and I would install it. John, one of their head guys provided me with a part number that was suppose to be specific to my vin number. I ordered the part on-line and paid them to paint it as agreed. When I picked it up, I noticed the bumper didn't look exactly like the one on my car and asked john if I was correct. Come to find out, he had given me the wrong part number. Because I have the wrong bumper cover, the fog lights won't fit and metal grills don't match up. You would think this would be easy, give a parts supplier the bumper number and order new lights and grills. NOT! There are seven fog lights that fit that bumper and just as many grills. It is impossible to match any of this up because every part is vin number specific. Today, I went back to BBA and spoke with the owner and his two sons with what I thought was a reasonable solution. Repair the car and I will file an insurance claim, just give me credit for the paint job to the incorrect bumper. They have refused to take any responsibility for providing me the wrong information and I was told " you were trying to save money, and it just didn't work out." Being a senior citizen, are we all not trying to save some money doing things our self? I went to what I believed to be a professional for information. Is it unreasonable to count on their expertise? Not at BBA. I would highly suggest you stay away from these guys. If something goes wrong, they are going to pass the buck and leave you hanging. I would have given these guys a zero, the same as the value of the information they gave me but the system would't allow it. read more

I didn't realize when I brought my car in for the initial estimate that they were using an alternate location during their renovations and I had unloaded my two toddlers from the car. Joe met me at the door and stopped what he was doing to get all the necessary pictures and information so I didn't have to load my little ones up and then back out again. Service any Mom with little kids could appreciate! The entire process from scheduling, arranging a rental car, to the actual work was done in an extremely organized and informative way. I was given updates daily on my car and was informed of any additional changes before the work was done. They fully detailed the inside of my car when I picked it up and my car looked brand new! I always prefer to do business with people who take pride in their work and this family owned business is no exception. My 2017 Subaru was hit by someone with GIECO Insurance and of course GIECO didn't care the car was almost show room new. I was crushed that my new car was going to be a patch job. Instead of putty and paint which GIECO wanted to cover Body Builders replaced the bumper matched the paint perfectly and my out of pocket cost was minimal. The work was beautiful. I was referred here by Geico after I was rear-ended and needed to have my car repaired. I was a little hesitant because I always take my car to the VW dealership. This customer service was outstanding and the service was just as great. I received follow-up text messages twice a week to let me know the status of my car. There is an onsite Enterprise agent to make rentals easy! Everything went smoothly and I have absolutely no complaints. Wow. FANTASTIC experience!!! My 2014 BMW got bumped pretty solidly in the parking lot where I work. The person left a note to call their insurance agent with no other info besides their agents phone number. Apparently that is what people do these days - leave their agent information, but not their personal information, which I guess, makes sense. Thankfully it all worked out. The agent was expecting my call and then said I needed to pick an auto body place. The insurance company had a preferred list of people in my area (there were many) and I had a hard time finding a place that had decent reviews. It seems like autobody reviews are often pretty mixed. I was concerned. There is a major car dealer next to my office with an autobody shop and I was hoping to take it there, but the reviews were rough so I kept looking. I eventually found BBA, which was pretty closer to my house. The whole thing was super smooth. I got the estimate, scheduled the service, they coordinated a rental car which was covered by the insurance agency. I even paid them to fix a few other dings that were not related to the accident and they did it for a fair price. I dropped my car off on an early Tuesday morning, and picked it up Friday morning. i was raised in a body shop..my dad & brother had 3 shops & they turned out work that was excellent. heard about BBA from a friend,lucky for me,that doesn't bs....smashed rear bumper on my Infinity G37 coupe. wow, beautiful job,perfect paint match & done in 2 days...i expect when body work is done you shouldn't be able to tell it was done....there is no way anyone could tell my rear bumper was replaced...ask for john ,he's a real pro...that shop is awesome...if you don't want to be able to tell your car was repaired ,these are the guys you go too.....today it's really hard to find quality service. i'm blown away by service like this..... read more
