Miriam and Sam worked on our couple massage session last week, and we could not have asked for a better first time massage experience! Sam only worked on my hubby's upper body since that was his complaint area, where Miriam worked on my entire body. We both felt completely at ease and relaxed during the entire 60-minute of our session. I did not feel uncomfortable at all having opposite sex in the room while I was getting massaged - they were very professional and I had a thin blanket covering me the whole time. The upside of coming to BodyCenter Fullerton is that we were able to pay with our HSA card. The price for a 60-minute couple session massage is also a lot cheaper than what the same service goes for at a more decked-out spa. Honestly, I'm just looking for good massage, I don't need crazy ambiance that I'm not going to stare at while laying on a bed. One thing to watch out for is that the parking lot entrance is quite narrow, and people inside the lot should yield to cars entering. It's hard to back out to let the car in the parking lot exit since the establishment is located on a busy street. We also got into a fight with a lady for this situation since she wouldn't yield while exiting the parking lot. I just recently moved to the area and was looking for my new local massage spa. I found this place through a quick google search and I'm pretty sure that I have found my winner! This place allows you to book the same day (so long as appointments are still available), has great prices, and has a warm and cozy atmosphere. The room temperate is perfect, the spa is clean and organized, and the music is relaxing. My only complaint is that I had quite a bit of trouble with the online booking system (I almost gave up on it after 30 minutes of going in circles), but this may have just been a temporary glitch. I also believe you can also call and book an appointment. Since I'm new, I did not know who to book with, so I went for whoever was available after work. This happened to be Mariam, and boy is she a GEM!! She got right to the point and wasted no time. She was perfect at adjusting her pressure to what felt best for me, and spent adequate time on all areas of the body. I was extremely disappointed in my service this time around. I never go out of my way to write reviews but like I said I was let down. I booked a massage for my mom and I at 2:45 for 1 hour. We got there on time a 2:43 and there were some people finishing paying and once I checked in I was asked if we needed to use the bathroom in which I agreed. Ultimately, my mom's masseuse came out and waited for her a few minutes while she finished using the bathroom. I was out already and waited and then a few minutes my masseuse came out and was ready for me. She ended my massage at 45 minutes and when I asked if I got the 45 min massage or 1 hour she said 1 hour but she took away 15 minutes because I was late. I didn't say anything but then waited for my mom because she actually got her 1 hour massage (good for her) meanwhile I was charged for the 1 hour and blamed for apparently being late when I saw my masseuse prepare the room as I actually waited on her. Usually this place provides great service but safe to say they lost a customer. read more

We greatly appreciate that our massage started promptly on time. We were kindly greeted and welcomed to our room. Before starting, Chay reviewed my allergies with me and clarified the areas I wanted her to focus on, which let me know she took the time to read over my 'patient information sheet'. Found this spa location through Yelp reviews and am so glad I did! My husband and I are not new to massages but wanted to try something new since we've usually done Swedish massages. To our surprise, this spa has a wide verity of treatments and all at reasonable price points in my opinion. I decided to do the following treatments: - 1 hr Thai Table Massage with a 10 min back scrub (with Evelyn) - 30 min Reflexology (with Jaime) Both did great, but I do want to give a special shout-out to Evelyn. I mentioned that this was my first time doing Thai Table so she took the time to explain what she was doing as she was doing it and would check with me frequently with regard to the pressure. I very much appreciated the extra care! :) A few things to note: 1. Appts do book up quickly so make sure to call ahead - at least a week. Especially Reflexology as there is only 1 person with the training available to do the service. 2. They do not have water bottles or cups for their water dispenser. So if you like having water after a massage bring your own water bottle. 3. All the therapists are independent contractors. Which leads to point 4 4. Each service must be paid for after completion even if you have multiple services scheduled back to back. Not too big of a deal but it does disrupt the relaxation, since you have to leave the room to pay for service 1 and then go into another room for next therapist/service. 5.
