Thank you Mika for the amazing deep pressure massage! It was just what I needed as I've been having horrible muscle pain throughout my body. She massaged me for an hour and a half with great pressure on all of my tender spots the entire time. I feel much better :) It was also a very relaxing massage considering it had pressure involved. This was my first experience with professional massage and I was a bit nervous, and I had to go as it was a gift from my family. The manager, Chayla, was so informative and took the time to explain the benefits and healing affects of massage. Told me about the environment I can expect in a private room, the sounds of water playing to aide in my relaxing and she even did a post appointment educational care exit with me and invited me back. I have always heard mixed comments about getting a massage while pregnant, but everything was great. To have someone with as frim of fingers as yourself take her time to work on the areas that generally hurt all the time and make recommendations and notice problem areas without me having to mention just because of the tightness of my neck and shoulder it is very hard work! Mariam is the best! I had a 90 minute massage with her yesterday. I came in with a lot of pain in my left shoulder, shooting down my arm and today it's practically gone! Rachel is a miracle worker! I've been having some pretty severe lower back pain during this pregnancy so I decided to get a prenatal massage to help relieve it a bit. Not only did Rachel spend plenty of time focusing on my pain points, she managed to still do a full body massage in the hour. And yes! I went yesterday and received the new IonActive treatment that they just started offering. Mariam is the best. I was so relaxed during my treatment that I caught myself falling asleep a few times. I've had several massages by Minja for sciatic back pain. She's a tiny thing and because of that she is able to hop on the table and hold on to the ceiling bars and do a walking massage on the buttocks. First off just book your appointment! This is the only place I'll ever recommend! So my girlfriend recently booked a couples massage here to celebrate our anniversary. She was already excited enough for a day of relaxation, but what she didn't know is that Katrina (the owner) and I had been arranging my proposal =) Over the phone I felt reassured the whole time. Go figure we started dating on Friday the 13th, well the day of our appointment the power went out in their whole neighborhood! With fear of my proposal going south, Katrina was going out of her way to help us find another place, since rescheduling was out of the question.
