FIRST-time; delivery review: * FARE(S) feasted on: *** 1/2 lb shrimp peeled & 1/2 lb clams - both in garlic butter sauce. Half pound is really not that much (FYI)! Garlic butter sauce was strong, the seafood quality was decent - nothing that knocks your socks off though. Maybe opting for their cajun sauce would be better next time for a more saturated taste... * FRIENDLY service: N/A * FRESH air seating outside? N/A * FAIR pricing: Yes * FEE processing: None. As far as the Crab flavor and sauce flavors in the bag, it was amazing... Will definitely be back for that. Service was great, seemed to be only two people there at the time. Edamame was flavorful with a spin because it was basically the same as the sauce that would go with the bagged seafood. The reason for the 3 stars has to do with them not having a lot of things we asked for on the menu and the loaded Chicken fries... I mean, cut up chicken fingers on top of fries??? When you think loaded, what do you picture? Inside was clean, good corridos music at the time I was there and overall a good experience. I will definitely go back and hope they got the full menu as well as work on some menu items to match the names.

OMG! We asked for spice and Luis told us mild was spicy and he wasn't lying!! But the spice was so good that I kept eating it and drinking lots of water. The flavoring on the seafood boil was so good!! The crab cakes was super delicious!

Food was amazing. First time here. We called because we had a party at Fifteen. Great customer service. The food was on point. I will definitely come back with my family, here, the atmosphere and the staff was amazing. Price point was also on point.

Came on a Friday night so there was a little bit of a wait but so worth it. Got 1.5 lbs of mussels with sausage, potatoes and corn. Nancy, our server, was very friendly and attentive. When we were done, she packaged up our leftovers so securely to make sure there were no spills. I told her I loved the garlic butter sauce and she said next time I should try the Daddy Sauce. Then she let us have a small sample of the Daddy Sauce to try with our leftovers! Paying was super easy, I was able to do it on my phone without downloading an app. Will definitely be coming back.

Found this place on Yelp as we were driving through Corona and my son specifically asked for a seafood boil. Ratings were great so we decided to stop in on a Friday night. There were only a few other families/couples there, so plenty of seating. Clean place, very nice inside. The employees were very helpful in showing us the menu options and descriptions. We ordered a boil that had eggs, potatoes, sausage, crab legs and shrimp. My son also got the daddy sauce on the side (he looooved this!). He finished every bit of food. We also got a daddy's shrimp bowl that also had potatoes, sausage and rice, and the fish & chips basket, with cajun seasoning on the fries. I thought the fries had way too much seasoning, but the fish was seasoned perfectly. The tartar sauce it came with was really good. Good portion size for the fish. Food was served quickly and we enjoyed the dinner, we def would go back to try more.

Ordered here on Friday June 20th on uber eats, there was a lack of sauce and also the potato's were undercooked and also we ordered crawfish and yet there was no crawfish on the stapled bag wouldn't have said anything if it was the online orders fault but this was a stapled bag and just sucked. I called that day too and the lady who answered the phone was rude and didn't even understand the question that I asked she could have just asked again but instead she tried to end the call as quick as possible. I've ordered here before just never thought of this type of service

First time here and walked in. Kind of pricey, but it is seafood. Cans of soda or small bottles of water for 2.50. Got the Managers Special, one ear of corn. Two potatoes, three sausage. Shrimp were undercooked, same on potatoes, sausages were three slices of sausage. The shrimp came head on or for 2.00 more head off. Decent food, good decor, the place is a good one timer, not worth a second trip.

This was our first time at Boil Daddy and we'll definitely be back! We loved how they offer their servings in 1/2 lbs instead of a whole pound, it gives us more flexibility to try other options! We had the Daddy sauce (garlic and cajun combined) with medium spice, 1/2 lb shrimp (head on) and 1 1/2 lb crawfish. Great order! Just enough spice to make us sweat lol. We recommend ordering the sauce on the side to dip in!

I usually go to pan dumpling house next door and recently saw this new seafood boil place open! I was really excited to try it and wasn't disappointed. I ordered a half lb of the shrimp with daddy sauce and mild spice! I really enjoyed the flavor of the daddy sauce and the spice was just perfect. I also ordered the daddy fries and the fries were nice and crispy. The flavor was also great as well. If you check in, you get a free mango drink. The mango drink is good; it tastes like it was made with real mangoes and it wasn't too sweet. Overall, I would comeback again. It was a bit pricey for half pound, but I think the size of the shrimps were worth it. The service was nice and the owners were kind! I also like the ambiance as well. They play good music and the interior is clean. read more

My friend was craving seafood boil so we decided to try this place out. I ordered 1 lb of shrimp (head on) in their "daddy sauce" and mild spice level. The shrimp wasn't overcooked which I appreciated. The sauce had great flavor and TONS of garlic chunks. A garlic lovers dream. We also ordered cajun fries to share. They were pretty good although I wish there was more cajun seasoning. Service was good. I do agree with a lot of the reviews, it's a bit pricier than other places. read more

I walked into Boil Daddy's door, Craving seafood--needed more! The scent of spice was in the air, A Cajun feast beyond compare. Shrimp and crab, all dressed in heat, Corn and potatoes--can't be beat! 5/5 Currently at The Boil Daddy and wow -- everything is so good. The smell alone had us excited before we even sat down. We got a boil with shrimp, crab, sausage, corn, and potatoes in the house special sauce (medium), and it's seriously perfect -- buttery, garlicky, a little spicy, and super fresh. The staff is super nice and on top of everything, constantly checking in and making sure we're good without being too much. The vibe's chill, music's good, and everyone looks like they're having a great time. Honestly, didn't expect it to be this good -- 10/10 recommend if you love seafood boils. read more

Ordered on ubereats with a BOGO deal and it was so worth it. Not sure if it is without the deal, but it was delicious. The food wasn't as heavy and salty as other Cajun restaurants which was great. If you have less than 4 to 5 stars for this place, you probably are miserable and try to find problems with everything. This place is super good and amazing. The service is A1. The inside is very clean and the food will give you a food baby. If you like lobster, shrimp, snow, crab, sausage, mussels, fry, fish, seasoned fries, you will fall in love with this place. The food was delicious. I wish there was more spicy and sauce inside the boil bag. I also wish there were more potatoes, sausage, and corn in the bag. I also really think if you are getting a seafood boil those items should come automatically not because you order crab legs or lobster. The waitress was okay I ordered and she almost walked away without taking my husband's which he did not like. The vibe was cool the music reminded me of the late 90's early 2000's. We ordered from post mates - We received our order in about 30 mins. Which is fine. The muscles were tiny! The shrimp was dry. And overall there was NO SAUCE. It was so disappointing. We also ordered the fish and chips basket, and received steamed or pan seared fish??? I really couldn't tell, but all I know is it wasn't fried. I'm confused at that since no where on their menu does it say steamed fish. For their fish and chips basket. The Cajun fries were good. read more

Established in 2023.

Boil Daddy started with two individuals, Jun Cho and Joel Kim, who shared a passion for food and the desire to spread their unique flavors to the people of Los Angeles. The first Daddy corporate store was formed in downtown Los Angeles during the peak of the pandemic. In just six months, Daddy quickly gained traction with its catchy-funny brand name and affordable juicy seafood selection. Fast forward to 2023, Daddy began to franchise in California and Texas in an effort to become the fastest growing cajun seafood concept. Daddy has opened over 30+ locations due to our rising popularity and awards from Forbes and other notable media outlets. Daddy’s mission is to provide all customers with excellent service whether customers dine in or order from the comfort of their home. The Service: Tye was our server and we were very grateful for him. We could tell he was a bit overwhelmed since there were not too many servers and there were a few times he took a minute to get to us but in all honesty he was doing his best and doubled down to make sure we were good towards the end. The food: It all comes down to the spices you add to your boil and I got the mix with everything with a good mild spice. I like spice so I could have went up and thankfully Tye brought us some of the spicy blend and that kicked it up a notch. My favorite way to eat it is.... I don't usually get potatoes.. I get the shrimp, corn, and then a side of Cajun fries, I peel all my shrimp and throw it back in the sauce, then when its all ready to go , I dump my fries in , mix it around , then go to TOWN. We also enjoyed the raw muscles and they were delicious!!. The only downside is my wife got the lobster fries with very little lobster, I honestly think it was the fries to topping ratio that was off. She liked them but in a few bites all she had left were fries and for the price it was a little bit of a let down. Overall it was a great time, we would definitely go back, and thank you Tye for all your hard work.

However, if you are coming here expecting good Thai food, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. Save your money and skip the Thai menu.

Service is always solid, the dine-in area is spacious and comfortable, and most importantly--the food is always on point. Their Cajun sauce is packed with flavor, not watered down or bland, and the seafood is cooked properly. Nothing is overcooked, rubbery, dry, or aggressively "fishy" (which is my biggest pet peeve at other boil spots). Service is solid, the dining area is spacious and clean, and the prices are fair for what you get. No gimmicks, no excuses, just consistently good food. Overall: good food, good service, good prices, and a clean restaurant. This is why we keep coming back while other Cajun places stay one-and-done. *Only reason for the 4.5-star instead of 5: PARKING. The parking lot is very limited, mainly because Star Crab and the Korean BBQ spot next door are both super busy. With two popular restaurants side by side, parking gets packed pretty much daily. Not a deal-breaker and totally worth it for the food, but something to be aware of before coming.

It also took another hour to get just three types of sushi, and the yellowtail was cut poorly, chewy and full of muscle, not clean or fresh. At this point, this isn't a one-off experience, it's a pattern. I've given this place multiple chances, and the food quality and timing consistently miss the mark. If you want good sushi, skip this place. If you want solid cocktails, sit at the bar and leave it at that.
