This newly opened restaurant is definitely a win in my book! Food 5/5: everything taste amazing! We ordered the Shrimp Head On in the Daddy Sauce, Snow Crab Legs in Daddy Sauce & Garlic Noodles. The shrimp was pretty big compared to so many other Cajun shrimp places we've been to, we were impressed! The crab was delicious, I would get again, but it was a bit too pricy. One thing to note, the mild spice definitely has a good kick to it! If you can't handle spicy, I'd probably go with the original spice instead. Service 5/5: The young woman taking our order was so patient with us, we had a party of 8 adults and 1 kid, since it was our first time here, she graciously gave us suggestions and answered any questions we had. The owners were sooooo kind! They even gave us churros for free. :') Before we left, one of the owners gave my little cousin a pink beaded necklace. So sweet. I ordered the Deck Cadet Catch Combo. For $93, the portion felt smaller than expected and the mussels were quite small. Service was okay, and water was self-serve. The sauce was also lighter than I expected, which made the food feel a bit dry. Overall, it did not feel worth the price to me. The flavor good and the spice was just right. I also ordered a side of corn on the cobb. My only complaint, the corn was chewy and over cooked. I completed my order on yelp and picked it up. The service was good, The food was ready on time and piping hot. The restaurant is small in a strip mall. I would have never found the place if it wasn't recommended on "Yelp". My only complaint was there was a transient inside watching TV, he wasn't a customer probably was there to use the restroom. We decided on the Cajun and garlic sauce combo with mild spice and the lobster tails, 2 snow crab clusters, and peeled shrimp. The taste was INCREDIBLE!! I highly recommend the service and ambiance, as it's a small hole-in-the-wall spot inside of a plaza, but the flavor is amazing. We loved the service this is a family operating restaurant. Loved seeing mom cook. She brought us a little dessert at the end ‍ I forgot the name of what we ordered but it was the mix sauce mild with mix hot sauce on the side. Came with 2 lobster tails, 1/2 shrimp 5 potatoes, 5 corns and 2 corns. We also ordered the shrimp Noodles on the side with the mix sauce. We ate and felt so full it was worth it! Ambiance was great. Flavor was ok - it's on the sweeter side. We also got the dry wings with fries. We paid $1 more for the Cajun fries flavor, which was lacking. There were MSG specs on both the wings and fries. Because of the MSG, I peeled the skin off and ate the meat only. I normally always bring leftover home and remake it if it's not bad. However, I couldn't bring the fries home because I don't how I could get rid of the MSG that's all mixed in. Sighs... Service was good. The shrimp, clams, and mussels were covered in the sauce, which had hints of garlic butter, but overpowered by the cajun sauce despite requesting mild spicy. The shrimp were easy to peel and the heads were flavorful. The clams and mussels were good and easy to eat by dipping the shells with meat into the sauce. However, while driving around OC, I realized there was one located in Stanton, so decided to check out this location and I must say it did not disappoint! The parking lot is quite large and has a lot of spots so you most likely will not have any trouble finding parking. I came here with my girlfriend and her sister, and we ordered 1lb of Shrimp (non-peeled) Mild Spicy with their Daddy Sauce, 1lb Shrimp (non-peeled) Medium Spicy with their Daddy Sauce, 1lb Clams Medium Spicy with their Daddy Sauce +Sausage +Potato, and Daddy's Noods with Shrimp (peeled) Medium Spicy. All of it was really delicious. Just the right amount of seasoning, not overdoing it, and the spice level was very enjoyable without any tongue burn. The noodles were also surprisingly good so that the noodles don't get soggy just sitting on our table while we were peeling our shrimp! Oh and noting that the Daddy Sauce is just the cajun sauce + butter garlic sauce combined and it's a must! Unfortunately, forgot to take any pictures of my experience and food, because we were all super hungry, so apologies! The managers and employees are super friendly and welcoming! We were fortunate enough to be offered free soda with our meals so we were very appreciative of it! Otherwise, I will say for the price point, the food, service, environment is cozy and enjoyable to dine in! As we were eating more people did come in for their to-go orders and few people dining in, but regardless, I love that it was less crowded during the time we went to really enjoy our meal in peace. She didn't like the sausage that was used. I tried it too. It was definitely different than other cajun seafood places. The portion size was big however. The sauce was decent. The wings were jumbo sized but the flavor was somewhat bland. The fries needed a bit more salt. My favorite was the daddy's noodles. It was packed with a lot of flavors. The portion size was good. Definitely my favorite item that we ordered. The owners were pretty nice and even gave us free sodas. Our order came out to be about 60-70 dollars with tip.
