This place was SO good! The beef bone soup was very pure tasting and came with thinly sliced beef brisket that was surprisingly super tender despite being in a boiling hot soup. We ordered the tteokgalbi and galbi jjim sets with each came with a soup and rice. The galbi jjim was a non-spicy, soy version and it was AMAZING. Honestly the best I've ever had in Ktown. It was my first time trying tteokgalbi, which is like a Korean meat patty - super flavorful! I definitely recommend coming here for lunch before 2 PM for their lunch special pricing. Free parking.

Boiler in Koreatown is a really solid spot if you're craving a comforting, flavorful meal. The atmosphere is cozy and lively, perfect for both small groups and casual dinners. The broth was rich and well-balanced, and they offer a good selection of meats and banchan that all tasted fresh. The beef soup was good but can't compare to han bat , but they were generous for the meat , spicy one was better so flavorful, galbijjim was such a good price. Tender and so good Service was friendly and quick , the staff made sure our table was always taken care of. The portions were generous for the price, It can get a little busy during peak hours, so expect a short wait, but it's worth it once you're seated. Overall, a satisfying and good dining experience. I'd definitely come back again when I'm in K-Town and craving for soup and galbijjim

Great spot for some hearty soup! Came by for some lunch with the family and this place did not disappointment. Very spacious restaurant with a very relaxing ambiance and plenty of parking. Ordering is done at each table with self-ordering kiosks, where each order is made to order, so be expected to wait a but. We opted for their boiler beef ribs yukgaejang and tofu seolleongtang, which were all delicious. Perfectly seasoned soup paired along with their tender meat and rice certainly hit the spot. Will definitely come back for some more when I am in the area!

We found this place on Yelp and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is nice and clean, and the service was friendly. We ordered the beef rib soup, and the meat was very tender and flavorful. The galbi jjim was perfect--not too sweet and not too salty--and went really well with rice. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth coming back.

Really worth checking out. The combos are a very good value. I enjoyed the suyuk (boiled beef) and the cabbage pancake. They also have a good deal on Soju.

Great ambience and great food in this tiny while in the wall. Nice modern decor and very sweet service.

Came here for Seilleojgtsng and love their grill ribs too! The Dotteokgal was so tender and flavorful. We also ordered the cheese spicy pork rib too and we both like it. The place is really clean and a lot of parking space without valet. The service is also great and we enjoy dinning here.

LA best Korean beef soup, came here on a rainy day looking for something hot and soup, their beef soup hits you right away with the great sweet taste and you can customize to your preference. The beef soup combo is well worth the price! And their spicy beef gal bi tastes amazing! A huge plus is parking is free no headache!

Popped in 45 minutes before closing on a chilly Wednesday night and ordered the beef rib sullungtang and galbijjim to share. Everything came out fast and piping hot. The owner took her time to explain that the bone broth was boiled for 3 days and sans MSG. I loved how clean the broth tasted. Added a few pinches of salt and it was perfect. The galbijjim was tender and flavorful. Quick and delicious meal!

Amazing soups, good service. Will definitely come back when we are in town The owner brought us short ribs when he realized that the dish we order was sold out. Ambience is very modern and super new.

What seemed like a deceptively simple bowl was one of the most delicious and flavorful meals I've had - I'll be thinking about my bowl for a long time. I got the plain kalgaksu, mainly because it included pork potstickers. The anchovy broth isn't fishy (which I was concerned about), it's deep and full in a way that's hard to describe. It penetrates the noodles and potatoes well. The broth is similar if not the same between most bowl types. The cold noodles were also delicious, which a couple of my friends ordered. Quite large portions, as just about everyone had to take some home. They also have bibimbap if you're craving a rice based meal instead. I can't wait to come back - maybe not on a Saturday night next time so I don't have to look so long for parking!

It's a huge space that gave more industrial vibe to me than traditional Taiwanese theme, but it's totally a very convenient dining spot for both small and big group. We tried some from the menu and were pleased by all of them. They might look small but very filling actually since all the bowls were filled to top. The Dan Dan noodles have flavorful peanut sauce with it perfect noodles texture. Would recommend add extra sides for proteins, which we opted for pork belly and minced pork. The belly was extremely tender with thick juicy slices. The minced pork was equally palatable. They're generous in portion for being sides, we even packed some home. We obviously didn't skip their Hakka Mochi for dessert, which were still warm chewy yet moist when served and covered in overflowing black sesame and peanut powder. I wasn't usually a fan of black sesame but decided to give this one a try anyway and ending up no regrets at all! The powder was such spoiling mix of sweet and salty in one bite.

It was nice that they gave us a separate table card for our dessert that we could display when we were ready for it. Thousand Layer Pancake with egg and cheese: Nice and flaky, good flavors, good size for sharing, my favorite dish that night. Scallion Bread Sandwich with five spice beef: Nice flavors and generous amount of filling, but the bread could've been made crisper, as it got soggy from the fillings and fell apart while eating. Chiayi Chicken Rice: This was fine but pretty mild and basic, nothing really stood out about this. Fruit Shaved lce: It looked really nice and had a lot of pineapple and strawberries. The pudding was pretty bland. The ice was the coarse, crunchy kind (not the fluffy, creamy kind). It was big enough to share with 3 or 4 people, though I don't think I'd get it again.

I have two toddlers and despite their loud, toddler-like behavior, one of the staff (Chun or Chen) was so friendly, attentive, and playful towards them that it made me feel less stressed out about dining in a small restaurant with young ones. At one point my toddler dropped his water bottle and he immediately swooped in to pick it up and then offered to wash it for me. Small gesture but one that has never been offered before and meant a lot to me.
