I have been to several boiling point locations, particularly in the OC. I understand why the reviews in this location is not the greatest, but wanted to give it a try. I arrived & plenty of parking spots and place was packed with customers. The wait was quick within a 2 min time frame and they directed me to our table. I don't think they knew I sat before the other customers arrived after me and they took their order. Had to flag a staff member down and they took my order. Food arrived and order the beef small pot with white rice. It was very hot and delicious. Overall 4/5. They need to improve on service and making sure customer are well taken care of.

Came here around 8:50 PM, knowing they close at 9:30. Walked in and asked to be put on the waitlist, and the worker (I believe her name was Truong) told us it was a 45-minute wait... meanwhile there were at least 4 empty tables clearly visible. We didn't argue and decided to just order to-go instead. While waiting (about 20 minutes), not a single one of those empty tables got sat. Then another couple walked in, asked about the waitlist, and I told them what I was told--that they weren't taking any more people. But they asked anyway... and somehow got seated right away. That made zero sense. Either there was space or there wasn't--why tell some customers no and seat others? Super inconsistent and honestly frustrating service. If you're closing soon, just be upfront instead of giving random wait times and picking who gets seated.

There is a bug in my pot be careful with their food. I found it while I finished half pot. Very disgusting.

My faveeee comfort food!!! I love you forever BP. My go to is the medium beef & rice. Fave drink is Lychee green tea! I miss their classic black tea though ): The tangy beef appetizer is great as well. The service isn't necessarily outstanding, but always fast and attentive. I love how they give free soup refills. I feel like the wait time isn't that as bad as before, but I might just be going on off hours. I'll always crave BP whenever wherever : D

Rotten veggies, I'd rather not have any... Wouldn't you?

Rotten veggies... Again. Years ago I stopped going there because bp would give me cilantro that was rotten, probably because they were running out. Since then, a couple of years later, i have them a chance and went back. The first time was good, so a week later I went back. Rotten veggies, lots of them directly in the pot, not yet submersed so it's clearly rotten. To the staff's credit, when I called their attention to this, they immediately apologized and told me they'd replace the veggies. The replacements were better, but not up to par. C'mon, this is not a cheap plate, and if you're really out of a certain veggie, I'm sure you can offer a substitute instead of two-week old stuff. (It maybe your fridge is too cold).

Boiling point is one of my favorites to go to. I enjoy all their hot pots. I wouldn't say it's the bestttt quality but it does get my hot pots fix. Service is amazing too. I feel like the staff here is so kind and attentive to everything I need. It's always busy but tables don't take long to clear up. I think I come like every 2 weeks. If it's not this location, it's another One thing I'd improve on is their points system. It's a little confusing but that's but a huge issue.

This location is just ok it's the closest one to us coming from Riverside it's fairly clean and the service has gotten slightly better

What's better to have on a cold night other than Boiling Point? We came here right after we went grocery shopping at 99 ranch supermarket around 9:15pm. Thank goodness there was no wait when we got there. Boiling point is located in the same plaza as Meet Fresh, and other restaurants, and Costco. It wasn't that bad looking for a parking space at night. I don't know how it is during the day. I ordered my usual mild flavored beef hot pot with a side of their vermicelli, and for the drink I'm so used to getting their iced green tea. Mild flavored hot pot definitely has a kick to it. So if you don't usually eat spicy I would recommend getting no spice. I like how their side vermicelli is now in a bag instead of them bringing it out in the open in the bowl. We decided to order their beef bowl with rice and an appetizer (spicy tangy beef). The beef in the beef bowl tasted like beef jerky, not sure if that's how it should be made. As for the appetizer, I feel like they took the beef from my hot pot and poured some spicy tangy oil over it. So nothing to rave about. Service was on point perhaps because they were not that busy. Waiter took the orders and the food came out soon after. I like the fact that they refilled my broth more than once and I didn't have to ask for it. Soon after we got our food the restaurant started to get busy. I always seem to bring the crowd to every restaurant I go to.

Good comfort food in chino area. Service/employees are nice, hot pot size sauce is good as usual.

Boiling Point has been around for a while and has always been consistent with their hot pots and flavors. I heard that most of the ingredients are pre-packaged so that could be part of the reason. I like coming here for their Beef Hot Pot. It has a good portion of meat and veggies, and you get to choose from a side of rice or noodles. There are already noodles that come with this pot, so you'll just get extra of the same thing. The spiciness is just right too!

Small space, good hot pot. They took the thai tomato off a while ago but they added back I'm so happy.

First time here and we were skeptical about some reviews but we stuck it out because there were three pregnant women waiting in line so it must be goood !! Yes wait was a while but worth it! Service was GREAT! I read a lot of bad reviews on the service but Chenka was so helpful and so nice. Give that man a raise !!! 10/10. The food was also delicious! I looked like a pregnant girl rolling out of there! Ya'll that say no flavor put some of the little three sauces they have there duhhhhh. Add it in the soup ! Be your own sauce bae.

No drink orders, no "we'll be right with you", nothing... This would've been the point of walking out, but my kids were saying they were hungry and going to another restaurant at that point would've been too late for their bedtime. I ended up walking up to a server who was about to help another table that was seated after us and said we'd like to order as no one's helped us. After finishing what he was doing, he walked up to our table with an ordering tablet and didn't say a word, just stood there staring at us. He took our order, got it wrong a few times, then FINALLY got our food. Not one server checked in on us the whole meal. Not one server offered the check. Just constant flagging down servers for everything. As I mentioned before, I reached out to management via email to try and bring this up on a professional level, but my multiple emails were left unanswered. I write this not to bash a business, but in hopes management sees this and starts correcting how their staff operates to not destroy an otherwise good restaurant.

Picked up a few items to go for lunch today and I was both surprised and disappointed at how bad the food was. The sullungtang was very greasy and the color was off, a dark brown. The beef was not trimmed properly, so half was just fat. To be frank, it was disgusting. There were bits and pieces of fat floating in the soup. The donkatsu went in the trash after a few bites. It was obviously reheated. The breading was more like that of a chicken tender and not that of donkatsu. The darkness of the outer cut portions (the pork) the katsu is obvious indication of reheating rather than fresh. I don't know if there is a new cook, new owner, or worst case they are serving subpar food from previous day. Maybe one or none of the above. This is one of the few times I've thrown away the majority of the food I purchased for take out from any restaurant. My background is in f&b and hospitality management so I would not give this type of review, especially to a small business unless there was a legitimate reason. While I respect the amount of work and dedication it takes to run a restaurant, there is a responsibility to provide customers with a quality product that aligns with the menu pricing. Beyond the product, ruining someone's lunch break is a sure fire way to lose an existing customer. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
