My faveeee comfort food!!! I love you forever BP. My go to is the medium beef & rice. Fave drink is Lychee green tea! I miss their classic black tea though ): The tangy beef appetizer is great as well. The service isn't necessarily outstanding, but always fast and attentive. I love how they give free soup refills. I feel like the wait time isn't that as bad as before, but I might just be going on off hours. I'll always crave BP whenever wherever : D

Rotten veggies, I'd rather not have any... Wouldn't you?

Rotten veggies... Again. Years ago I stopped going there because bp would give me cilantro that was rotten, probably because they were running out. Since then, a couple of years later, i have them a chance and went back. The first time was good, so a week later I went back. Rotten veggies, lots of them directly in the pot, not yet submersed so it's clearly rotten. To the staff's credit, when I called their attention to this, they immediately apologized and told me they'd replace the veggies. The replacements were better, but not up to par. C'mon, this is not a cheap plate, and if you're really out of a certain veggie, I'm sure you can offer a substitute instead of two-week old stuff. (It maybe your fridge is too cold).

Boiling point is one of my favorites to go to. I enjoy all their hot pots. I wouldn't say it's the bestttt quality but it does get my hot pots fix. Service is amazing too. I feel like the staff here is so kind and attentive to everything I need. It's always busy but tables don't take long to clear up. I think I come like every 2 weeks. If it's not this location, it's another One thing I'd improve on is their points system. It's a little confusing but that's but a huge issue.

This location is just ok it's the closest one to us coming from Riverside it's fairly clean and the service has gotten slightly better

Good comfort food in chino area. Service/employees are nice, hot pot size sauce is good as usual.

What's better to have on a cold night other than Boiling Point? We came here right after we went grocery shopping at 99 ranch supermarket around 9:15pm. Thank goodness there was no wait when we got there. Boiling point is located in the same plaza as Meet Fresh, and other restaurants, and Costco. It wasn't that bad looking for a parking space at night. I don't know how it is during the day. I ordered my usual mild flavored beef hot pot with a side of their vermicelli, and for the drink I'm so used to getting their iced green tea. Mild flavored hot pot definitely has a kick to it. So if you don't usually eat spicy I would recommend getting no spice. I like how their side vermicelli is now in a bag instead of them bringing it out in the open in the bowl. We decided to order their beef bowl with rice and an appetizer (spicy tangy beef). The beef in the beef bowl tasted like beef jerky, not sure if that's how it should be made. As for the appetizer, I feel like they took the beef from my hot pot and poured some spicy tangy oil over it. So nothing to rave about. Service was on point perhaps because they were not that busy. Waiter took the orders and the food came out soon after. I like the fact that they refilled my broth more than once and I didn't have to ask for it. Soon after we got our food the restaurant started to get busy. I always seem to bring the crowd to every restaurant I go to.

Small space, good hot pot. They took the thai tomato off a while ago but they added back I'm so happy.

Boiling Point has been around for a while and has always been consistent with their hot pots and flavors. I heard that most of the ingredients are pre-packaged so that could be part of the reason. I like coming here for their Beef Hot Pot. It has a good portion of meat and veggies, and you get to choose from a side of rice or noodles. There are already noodles that come with this pot, so you'll just get extra of the same thing. The spiciness is just right too!

First time here and we were skeptical about some reviews but we stuck it out because there were three pregnant women waiting in line so it must be goood !! Yes wait was a while but worth it! Service was GREAT! I read a lot of bad reviews on the service but Chenka was so helpful and so nice. Give that man a raise !!! 10/10. The food was also delicious! I looked like a pregnant girl rolling out of there! Ya'll that say no flavor put some of the little three sauces they have there duhhhhh. Add it in the soup ! Be your own sauce bae.

Good service in a cozy, cramped space with small tables. I ordered the beef hot soup. The broth was healthy and flavorful with a nice amount of protein, though be careful--the broth tends to flick hot liquid onto clothes. The mango aloe green tea was refreshing, and I requested less sugar, which they accommodated.

What is most annoying is if you ask for something and they don't deliver it to the table like a soup spoon or a take out container, which was the case tonight with one of the servers. It happened on several items and resulted in multiple requests. I will give them the benefit of the doubt that they were busy; however, I have been to other Boiling Point locations that were also busy and never encountered that issue. The Sweet Tea with boba was way too sweet... and I tend to not have an issues with drinks on the sweeter side. Other than that, the sauces are what make the meal.

Boiling point is BOMB.com. Taiwanese Spicy is my forever go to. This location is a hit or miss though. It's small so wait is expected. Some of the staff are polite, welcoming, and attentive but some just look & walk right past you. The restaurant seating area is always clean.

Much of the menu my mom used to make so there was the high nostalgia factor. Their prices are really good and food was decent. There's a take out area on one side of the restaurant complete with a large fridge with a huge variety of frozen items you can take home and heat up or cook - this includes soups , stews , dumplings etc. They also have some Taiwanese desserts - their shaved ice was massive though they kinda skimp on the amount of toppings you get. We ordered a variety of dishes - their star does seem to be their combo plates which came with hearty portion of your chosen item, homemade sides and a drink choice (includes milk tea, cold teas, sodas) . My only gripe was the older lady who works there (maybe she's the owner?) - she was a bit rude. We had a little bit of a wait so we were in the take out area and perusing the frozen items and she told us we had to wait outside. Bruh? There's no one in this area. We thought we were the only ones being shoo'd out but later saw her trying to shoo out a bunch of people waiting for their online orders, saying in mandarin that too many people inside is bad for air quality. LOL Then when we finally got seated she told us that it would take 40 minutes for us to get our food. And she rushed my daughter to order saying she has to leave and will have to come back if she doesn't order right then. My dad at this point was hangry and wanted to split, but my sis and I were like we drove alllll the way here. Let's just wait for the food. So of course the food comes out in maybe 10 minutes on the first dish and maybe 20 minutes on the last dish. We figure the lady is trying to weed out the unfaithful lmaooo. Later when we were done with our meal , my dad asked if we can have our desserts and the lady was like (in mandarin) "you're not the only one waiting for dessert. A lot of other people are too". Say what ? Odd customer service, ok food , but I dunno if I would go hella out of my way to come back when there's plenty of tasty Taiwanese options in the San Gabriel area. Love the big Taiwan flag on display though!

Just last weekend I tried one from Tasty House in Chino hills by 99 ranch, and BD cafe's version is by far the superior dish! The meat was perfectly marinated with flavor, juicy and tender to bite. The recommended thick noodles are chewy and has the perfect amount of Q. I was recommended the spicy version and boy was it just the right amount. Not for the faint of heart but not intolerable. It came with the side of "salted vegetables" for ultimate authenticity. Only thing I would say is I wish the salted vegetables are bigger pieces for more chewy goodness. The waitress was also very honest with me and not trying to make a sale like other wait staff often does. When I wanted to order spicy wontons, she looked at me with a questionable stare. I am a direct person so I asked what's on her mind. She suspected I wouldn't have room to eat the wontons with the hefty noodle soup, and she was right. 1 hour later, I am still sitting on the couch at home feeling full! Furthermore, I ordered the vegetarian radish cake and they gave it to me for free since they only had 2 slices instead of 3. The wait staff is honest and down to Earth, and really reminds me of myself and brings me pride to be a true Taiwanese. The Taiwanese tv playing in the background adds to the ambiance! Lastly, my curiosity got the best of me and I asked what's BD stand for. The waitress simply said 便當, or bento in mandarin. The food is great and it's gonna be a new favorite for me when I come visit!
