Never been to Bojangles and we do not have them in SF Bay Area - California and the closest one to Paramus NJ is almost 500 miles! The chicken was damn good!! Better than KFC or Popeyes!?!? Hard to say but if all 3 were in California or New Jersey, I would go to it. Chicken was juicy and distinct from Popeyes and KFC...All are unique and good. Now they serve dirty rice which Popeyes stopped selling for some stupid reason...It was so yum and I almost wanted another one! Can't say I disliked any of it. Service was ok and nothing great but it is fast food and expecting great service is like getting water out of sand. So it is what it is... Ambiance is nice but will say this location needs to be cleaned and wiped down immediately when a customer leaves...But that goes back to service. One star off for not being tidy. Still, I am now a fan of Bojangles! Yeah I am down here looking at homes to buy and scout the areas...Eating out will be a challenge for sure. read more

Dirty establishment and rude employees - stopped at 12:30 for lunch place was a disaster and employees looked disheveled and dirty Tonya was a rude and sad individual who clearly doesn't have much going for her. This is a good chain with excellent food and a not bad drive-thru. I've been getting take out here for months and have not experienced the slow service that others complain of. I've ordered everything from breakfast, to a single meal, to a giant family box and so far, nothing has been missing. The food has been delicious, fresh and hot. The workers manning the drive-thru have been pleasant and courteous. I have not been inside, preferring to grab and go. The parking lot is clean. read more

I picked up a 12pc family meal at this location, and it was not good. I had stopped going to this location a long time ago but was hoping with the new renovations would come better service. It's as terrible as ever. The chicken was caramelized, and I paid for all white, but got all dark except for one breast. Ordered sweet tea but got unsweet... and on and on. We were told multiple times that we needs to stop at Bojangles while in North Carolina. For this Louisiana crowd we were reserved. Walking in it felt like a really old fast food joint.... Like whole in the wall old. This either meant it was really good or really bad. The fact that several workers were in the dining area gave me hope it would be tasty...... and it was! We ordered a chicken sandwich, chicken strips, fried, coleslaw and a biscuit. We are accustomed to Popeyes chicken and Raising Cains. The biscuit was just as good as Popeyes which says a LOT coming from my crowd. The coleslaw was also wonderful which says a lot about a southern fast food chain. The fries and sweet tea were my favorite. The seasoning on the fries was incredibly good!!! I removed two starts mainly for the cleanliness of the building and the major need for a good facelift, however the food was great and I am sure we will be stopping at another location along our way for some tea and fries! Good place to satisfy a quick fried chicken craving. Better than KFC or Popeye's; there's a reason Bo's is only in the South. Late night drive thru service was quick and efficient. Swimming in grease. This was not a good experience. Running short of time so I decided to go through the drive through. Several months ago, the ran a Special on a Fish Filet Sandwich which was very good. They are rerunning the special and I wanted to give it another try. Don't know if it was the quality of the speaker in the drive through or the fact that the person on the other end could not understand me. Took forever to convince her that I did not want a Cajun Chicken Combo. What I did end up with when I got back to the office was a greasy piece of fish, under a biscuit with greasy and soggy fries. Every time we order a large meal from here it gives us a time it will be ready. We show up. They act like we are asking them about something complicated and mysterious. Then we pull over and wait forever for the order. Every. Time. The food isn't bad once you get it. Maybe bc you are so hungry. We waited about 45 minutes today once we arrived for reference. Taylorsville highway NEW store : So I pull up. Order breast and wing combo @5:50 pm. Girls comes on asking about drink , no thank you I said. She then tells me no wings are cooked. Tells me it's gonna be a 15 to 20 minute wait. I said that's fine I'll wait . I get up to the window and 3 guys are standing there and a girl with tattoos up and down her arms. I had told her at the order board , since I have to wait on the wing and breast , ring me up for a 3 wing and fry too . Thinking I would get hot fresh wings . I said " I'll wait on hot fries too. Slow at drive through. Ordered two 2 piece breast and wing dinners 1 with extra side. Told total was $17.?? Got to window and was told they only had 2 breast, that it would be 8 min before they had more breast. We said we only ordered 2 what is the problem then? They fixed order and we went home. The chicken was barely warm and actually 1 of the breast was actually a backbone no meat whatsoever! The dirty rice was dry as if it was left over from lunch and cold,as were the biscuits. I ate at Bojangles in Troutman, NC and was very pleased with the chicken salad and how nice and polite the employees were. We live in Statesville and decided to try our Bojangles in our home town. What a disappointment. I ordered the chicken salad. What I got was lettuce and chicken. No cucumbers, tomatoes, or croutons. The tables were not cleaned off, the floors were scattered with napkins and crumbs, the wallpaper was peeled off the wall where water had come in and black mold was behind the wallpaper. My husband went to the bathroom and said they were dirty and no paper towels to dry your hands. read more
