It's Bojangles! It's not the best fried chicken spot, but it's not bad and gets the job done. This location is clean and the employees seemed nice. Does anyone else always think about the lyrics of Salt Shaker (Ying Yang Twins) when you see Bojangles?

Taking a break from cooking 2 to 3 meals a day. IT'S BO TIME, under quarantine. Passing by on Holland road

This particular location we have been there just a few times to have a Sunday buffet. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Offering refills on whatever we chose. Although they offer a variety of sides including seasoned green beans, jambalaya rice, mack and cheese, French fries cole slaw along with hot biscuits. Just passing by our for a ride on a quarantine Saturday afternoon. We ordered sweet potato pies that just didn't make it off Holland road. When the world opens back up we will pass thru possible for the fresh buffet. I truly just prefer the chicken.

Two unrecognizable pieces after looking through it later that night.

Horrible communication and customer service with waiting for food. First, they didn't have a particular piece of chicken so I had to get substitutes then after waiting 15 minutes I went inside to complain about the wait..... and ended up waiting another 15 minutes for some cookies I ended up not wanting I asked for a refund and was met with the manager talking crap. I did not get the beverage 1/2 gallon of tea that came done the family meal... the food was not fresh at all. It was a very underwhelming experience . My daughter had to use the bathroom so from the moment I started asking for a refund to the moment I was finally given one was about 15 minutes. My daughter reluctantly used the facilities there after the words exchange with everyone on the staff to get clarification on some cookies. If I was met with the information the cookies taken10 minutes to cook and another 10 to cool before they can serve them I would have not ordered cookies at 8pm on a Tuesday. I left around 8:30 and got home to food that was most definitely prepared hours before I arrived.

Bathroom is gross. Whole restaurant is outdated. Food was good. Won't be back to this location, don't care for the christian music.

Everything went well together! The pickled okra was a revelation. I liked it! The pita bread was warm, flavorful and had great texture. The raw clam and mussel were okay. Blackened tuna with broccoli salad and grilled asparagus was also nice. Broccoli salad was delicious. Vanilla cheesecake with berry compote was a great way to end the night. Had great food, service and experience here.

The place was spotless and decorated with...driftwood pictures. Obviously. It's in the name, folks. There is a free parking lot onsite which is a plus, but it's very tight. Larger SUVs and trucks may have a tough time. Our waitress was nice and went back to the kitchen to get an answer for my food question (they're white onions not red in the veggie omelet). I was also a fan of her raspy voice. Whoever did their website did a great job...at deceiving the public. The pictures look much better than how the food tasted. Maybe I should've ordered differently? I ended up getting the veggie omelet (without peppers and tomatoes). One plus was that they didn't pre-butter the toast. I liked that. Most places put gobs of butter on, that I end up wiping off with a napkin. This is also one of the few places that sell creamed chip beef (which isn't my jam but might be yours)!

Ambiance is aesthetically pleasing with a country roadside shack motif. The bar area has TVs with sports and a great selection of craft beers and house specialty cocktails. The only drawback is that parking during peak working hours can be tricky with only street parking available as there are lots of small businesses and other restaurants in this area with the same issue. The Food is REALLY GOOD! I had the Pork & Pollock; a healthy lump of pulled pork with two pieces of battered and fried pollock, a cup of slaw and a side of your choice (I got the Cindy's Mac-n-cheese). I also added a side of their hushpuppies, and my only complaint is that my stomach was not big enough to finish it all. Tip: if your hushpuppies come out with their house made honey butter, just ask you will thank me latter. Various BBQ sauces are provided on the table for your meats and sides; my favorite was the sweet Memphis style. If you are in the area and hungry, I highly recommend finding a parking spot and swinging in!

I'm down for that tho because the ambiance and outdoorzy garden area is always chill for sun vibes and photos. If i was one of those people who are mad impatient i would sit this one out bc you're gonna be chillin but if you're like me and like to chill, just get there early and enjoy! Won't disappoint. The wait can be long, especially on weekends, but the experience while waiting actually adds to the charm. There's an outdoor bar with plenty of drinks to choose from, covered patios for relaxing, and even board games to enjoy while you wait for your table. The service was excellent from start to finish. Free valet parking is also available, though tipping is definitely encouraged. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you're in the Virginia Beach area

This was NOT my 1st time experiencing this phenomenal business, and I will shout from the mountain tops for all who will listen. Tonight was #Datenight. My wife, another power couple (family, not blood related), and myself. Since the 1st time we introduced them to this place, they've been #hooked. Upon entering, we were greeted by the hostess. We noticed Brie (one of the owners) and we had a conversation (expressing our fondness of the business. We waited about 5 minutes and was escorted to our seats by Brie. We were seated in VIP (Reserved) section Thursday nights are reserved for Karaoke and its was phenomenal, to say the least!! There were some real "singers" in there--not professional, but singers nonetheless. Make sure to come between 6-9 to enjoy their "Happy hour" specials. Drinks came fast. Appetizers came faster. And the food was not far behind. My wife ordered "Keishia Wings (Parmesean Garlic) and fries basket. My sister ordered some kind of dip, and my brother ordered wings. The main course. I ordered "Bad Gyrl Lamb Chops" with Rice & Gravy and Cabbage. My wife ordered the "Veggie Platter" with Collards, Sweet potatoes, Broccoli and Cabbage. My sister ordered The "Sausage, Rice and Onions" platter and my brother ordered the Turkey Wings (Fried then gravy added (no onions), Mac and Cheese and Cabbage. When I say we cleaned our plates, that's an understatement. If you're in the area, visiting the area, or just looking for something outside of the normal, this is it!!! You don't even have to take my word for it. Try it yourself and see --- You will NOT be disappointed! We will be back time after time and hope to meet/see you there! Enjoy the rest of your day
