This Waffle House is easily one of the best I've been to. The vibe was great, good music playing and the workers were singing and dancing like it was a mini concert. It honestly made the experience so much fun. I forgot the name of our waitress but she was amazing. I ordered my usual All-Star and had zero complaints as always. I rarely ever have issues with Waffle House but this location really stood out. What impressed me the most was how clean everything was. Waffle Houses aren't always known for cleanliness but this one was spot on. You could tell the whole crew was taking care of the kitchen. Everyone had great energy and in my opinion this was the best team I've seen at any Waffle House.

Solid 3.5. Exactly what I was expecting. Very diner. Quick service. Very good prices. I got a waffle with peanut butter chips on top. The waffle itself was a little undercooked. The Peanut Butter chips were great. One of my friend's waffles was only 3/4 of a waffle which was kinda sad. The coffee was much better than I was expecting. I even bought a mug. I was impressed with how much food was in the kids meals too. Impressive food? No. Totally worth going? Yes. Also, I now understand the song "the bad touch"

Oh man, I do love a good waffle house and this one was probably the best one I have ever visited due to having such an amazing staff working. Extremely friendly and making you feel right at home, while keeping this location immaculately clean. Next time I'm down in Virginia Beach, definitely my last stop on the way home again for sure!

Bacon and hash browns can be ordered well done. Quick and efficient service. Decent coffee. Best seating is at the counter or adjacent tables to view the grill action.

Half a portion of the biscuit and sausage gravy. My friend had the other half (split before it arrived at the table) so thoughtful

First of all this was my first time ever at Waffle House. The customer service made the whole experience INCREDIBLE. My friend and I met for a quick lunch and mentioned splitting a couple of items while we chatted. When our lunch showed up it was already split for us. The food came out hot and fresh and was delicious. The staff was so attentive and very thoughtful. I think this was an amazing experience and I would gladly go back.

5 stars definitely for top notched, serving the community with a smile, accommodating every customer service from the wonderful staff at this Waffle House location. As soon as you enter, you're greeted with a smile, asked if dining in or carryout. A table is immediately cleaned. Waitress was polite and friendly. This day there was a birthday celebrant and the entire staff sang happy birthday. You see clean, bright windows let in the beautiful morning sunshine. Visitors/tourists and locals love this place. The food is great, I always get my favorite: sausage egg and cheese grits bowl. Delicious! You need to come to this location. Best in the area!

Today I went with a friend for lunch here and was met with two of the most sweetest waiters ever . Suzanne and Cierra . They made sure me and my kiddos were taken care of and went above and beyond I knew from the moment we walked in they were happy to have us . They brought my babies Crayons , hats , cups with lids , Suzanne even offered to cut my kids waffles up for me ! Soooo sweet . Truly so appreciative for places who make me and my kids feel welcomed . Will be back .

So took the kids for breakfast. Place was busy it usually is, got a seat rather quick and only a short wait to order and our waitress was amazing. I ordered a coffee when it arrived it had some salt around the rim i hadn't noticed before I took a sip so the salty coffee was not very good but she swapped it for a Mr Pibb and it was better. Food was not seasoned at all. I did not even get through half of my cheesesteak bowl because it was so bland. There was syrup spilled on a tray in the back which was attracting flies and they kept landing on the syrup container so the kids opted for waffles with no syrup. All in all $49 later for 4 people i shouldn't complain much but I won't be back until they can at least season the food.

The waffle iron that was used to make my waffle probably was on the fritz. Other than that, all was good in the hood with my MVP special.

While this was not my regular Waffle House, I will say the service and food were pretty comparable to other nice Waffle House restaurants in the area. My waitress, "Ineeda", was pretty funny and very prompt with service. Overall, this location was pretty clean . . . I have seen some Waffle House restrooms that still give me nightmares to this day. Fortunately, this location was not one of those places. Although this location is not my regular Waffle House, I'd definitely return when I have a craving for an MVP breakfast special. My only (very small) complaint is that the waffle was not aesthetically beautiful. Perhaps, the waffle iron used to make my waffle was on the fritz.

I came in to a happy server, but when I got my orange juice , it was hot and spoiled. It didn't seem like anyone cared and I had to ask for the manager. She said she knows but didn't offer an apology or something in return for my trouble. My stomach hurts and the juice was bubbly and obviously they don't care cuz the same orange juice is still in the container. I wasted my time and money coming in today. Won't be back.

During my vacation I decided to have breakfast at Waffle House instead of the hotel I was staying at.. I'm very picky with my food but everything was great! Service 10/10. I love the way they made my eggs with cheese.. It was made perfectly! The waffle and hash browns was made nice and crispy.. 10/10.

Oh sweet Waffle House, how I've missed you. On the drive down to the OBX, several friends made the special request to stop at a Waffle House. This location was right along our route so around 8AM, we made the pit stop. For a Saturday morning, at prime breakfast time, they weren't busy at all. This boded well for us as we had a group of 14...we were able to spread out perfectly in our own section of the restaurant! The staff was incredibly accommodating and charming - guess it's that southern hospitality. The orders came out quick and hot. Everything was just as good as I remember when I had Waffle House years ago in PA.

You would never suspect the great atmosphere of this venue from the location. But the charm of the place really isn't the story. This is the kind of place that offers a gastro pub menu and they do not disappoint with a familiar yet unique menu offering some truly great dishes and perhaps the best burgers in VB. Our first table ended up being under a spotlight that was directly in our line of sight (it looked like it was meant for the specials board), so we asked to move. Staff was accommodating and got us to a better table quickly. The space itself is really nice. It was clean, rustically decorated, and the live plants in liquor bottles on the tables are a nice touch. Our server was friendly from the start and took drink orders right away. My daughter and I had sodas, and my husband ordered the Southern Charm Old Fashioned off the specials menu, which he enjoyed. The menu is on the smaller side, which we actually like. One unique detail was the option to "buy a round for the kitchen," which we thought was a really nice touch and decided to add it when we ordered our appetizer. We started with the fried deviled eggs after a friend recommended them. They were creative with three styles (classic with pickle, togarashi ginger, and crispy prosciutto), but overall a bit on the dry side and not as flavorful as we expected. We asked for Dijon, but they don't have it. Our server suggested and brought out the Baja dipping sauce instead, which did pair well and kind of improved them. My husband had the fish and chips and really enjoyed it. He said the fish was flaky and well cooked. I ordered the Union grilled cheese, which unfortunately seemed like it had been sitting a bit before being served, as the bottom was soggy. It was just okay overall and not particularly memorable for the price. The sweet potato fries on the side were the clear standout. They were crispy, the perfect balance of sweet and salty and honestly the best part of the dish. Our daughter had the kid's smashburger. It was exactly that. Service throughout the meal was good. She was friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and there when needed. The main disappointment came at the end. When our meals were served, the server actually offered sauces at the table (ketchup, mayo, ranch, etc.), and specifically suggested items like the baja sauce for the eggs and ranch to us. Because of that, we were surprised to see several charges for the sauces on the bill, especially since they were offered and recommended at the table with no mention of any additional cost. We were also charged a credit card fee, with no signage anywhere (entrance, hostess stand, or menu) indicating that paying with a card would include an extra charge. It just left an unnecessary sour note on an otherwise solid, casual meal. Nothing was bad, and nothing really stood out as exceptional, but the lack of transparency around those final charges really impacted the overall experience for us.

We decided to sit at the bar, so we were given menus to look over and the bartender was very nice. I ordered the Spicy Passionfruit Margarita and my daughter ordered the Rican Rum Punch. Both were good but I enjoyed the Margarita much better! Since we weren't very hungry, we chose our favorites which were the Arroz con Gandules and the Relleno de Papa, which is a mashed potato ball filled with savory, ground beef. The food was flavorful and absolutely delicious! They also have a pink sauce, which is a ketchup/mayo mix, but it always pairs so well with the food. Everything was so good, we put in another order of both to take home lol. De Rican Chef never disappoints! After all these years, their food still tastes just as good as it did the first time we went! If you're looking for great, Puerto Rican food, definitely stop in!!!

My mom and I decided to try this place out since our regular Sunday breakfast spot was closed that day. The visit here was on April 5, 2026. This restaurant was pretty easy to find once we came into the shopping center. There are quite a few businesses along the stretch this restaurant is located at. When you first come up, you can see the darker colors on the outside of the business. There were also a few info boards in front of the limited outdoor seating available. It was pretty early in the morning, so it wasn't too busy yet when we came in, though when we were done, it was much busier. There is quite a bit of indoor seating available. The overall theme inside does have a breakfast type of vibe to it as well. We were immediately greeted and seated when we came in. Our server Anna was pretty quick to come to the table and introduce herself. We weren't ready to choose what we wanted to eat or drink yet as we had really just gotten seated, but she gave us a few moments and then we were ready to order drinks. My mom went with coffee, but I figured I would try their Bloody Mary. She was good about checking the age too. After the drinks came out, we were then ready to order the breakfast courses. I decided to go with the Mallorca French Toast entree with coconut syrup and Argentinian Chorizo as the protein. My mom decided to go with the Scrambled Eggs (Two Eggs) with crispy bacon, white toast, and breakfast fries. While waiting for the food to come out, I tried the Bloody Mary, which was very good. It wasn't too spicy, which is the way I prefer to have it. The flavor combination was good for that. After ordering, the food came out about ten minutes later, which is about the time I would expect with the order we had. The Mallorca French Toast looked really good. My mom's order looked good too. The Mallorca French Toast was quite the indulgence. This was the first time I had had that type of bread. The bread was soft, fluffy, and easy on the mouth too. The coconut syrup was a great complement to it, as I normally don't do syrups due to the sugar content. I knew this meal would likely spike my glucose, and it did, though not as high as I thought it might have gotten to. The Argentinian Chorizo was really good too and had a great flavor to it. I would definitely do that as a protein on future visits too, as you don't see that everywhere like you do bacon. Our server was great about checking in on us and asking if we had any questions or issues. Overall, this was a very good first experience coming here. The food, service, and such were great. I want to note that there wasn't a surcharge for using a credit card as of the time of this visit. Since their menu has lunch type items too, I would come back and try some of those items in the future. If you're looking for a different take on breakfast places, this place is worth checking out.

One piece of advice: arrive a little before Happy Hour begins at 3:00 p.m. If you wait until then, you'll likely find yourself several people deep in line. Don't let that discourage you. Embrace it, because once you're seated you'll quickly discover that the wait was well worth it. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices--especially during Happy Hour--are outstanding. The Atlantic specializes in oysters, and their Happy Hour runs daily from 3:00-6:00 p.m., including weekends. We began with a Chopped Caesar Salad ($9). Every ingredient was crisp, fresh, and flavorful--a simple dish executed exactly as it should be. Next came the oysters: a dozen Rockefeller and a dozen Pacific. The Rockefeller oysters were everything you would expect from this classic preparation--rich, savory, and baked beautifully. The Pacific oysters, however, completely stole the show. Each oyster was topped with a delicious combination of chorizo sausage, pepper jack cheese, and seasonings before being baked to perfection. They were bold, flavorful, and easily my favorite item of the afternoon. I also ordered the Double Stack Cheeseburger ($7), and what a terrific value. The burger arrived piping hot, loaded with melted cheese, and accompanied by a generous serving of crispy fries. It's hard to imagine finding a better burger at that price anywhere along the Oceanfront. My wife ordered the pork, shrimp, and kimchi dumplings served with a chili crunch and ponzu sauce that tied the entire dish together beautifully. She jokingly threatened to drink the remaining sauce after finishing the dumplings (she didn't), but she did convince me to dip one of my fries into it. She was absolutely right--it was fantastic. In fact, I now regret turning down the dumpling she generously offered me. Part of the fun of dining here is watching Shuck-Master Slim work. He's not only remarkably skilled but entertaining as well, adding a little personality to an already enjoyable experience. From the fresh seafood to the outstanding value and friendly atmosphere, this was another memorable visit to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. If you haven't been to The Atlantic on Pacific, I highly recommend adding it to your list. You'll be glad you did, and you can rest assured that you're helping support one of our outstanding local restaurants.

I had seen it too when traveling down that road, but I finally came in for the first time on March 10, 2026 after leaving the Voter Registrar's Office not too far from there. Upon entering, it wasn't too busy yet, but it was a little before 4 pm, so it was still early for the evening dinner rush. It was just seconds later that our server came over, welcomed us here, bringing menus over, and introduced herself. The first question is always asking about what to drink. I continue to go with my usual, which is water with lemons, while my mom got Coke. After having some time to look over the menu, when we got our drinks, my mom and I were both ready to order. I decided to go with the Sloppy Joe Samich with Onion Rings as the side item, but subbing Pepper Jack Cheese instead of American Cheese. My mom decided to do an appetizer as the main course, which was the Loaded Nachos Half Size Portion. A little less than 10 minutes later, our food orders came to the table, and they looked really good, and when we went to try it out, they were definitely hot too. My mom really liked the Loaded Nachos and that had good flavor to it as well. Our server also told us about various specials they have through the week, so this would warrant future visits for us too. The next few visits would be on Thursdays, as they have a $7 Burger Night Special beginning at 5 pm. For those next visits (including the most recent one, except for the April 6 visit), I would end up getting the Bacon Cheeseburger With Fries (additional cost to change the side item for specials). My mom also did a few types of burgers on these visits, one being the Cowboy Burger. Every time, the burgers came out as expected and hot. The fries were really good too, as I usually do pepper on them instead of salt. There was one additional visit on April 6th, which was a Monday. We came in that day for the Fried Shrimp Basket Special. That one comes with Fried Shrimp and Fries, and is available all day. The shrimp were really good and filling too. Overall, the food, service, atmosphere, and specials have been great here. I really feel like they are a hidden gem. When it comes to sodas, they did carry Coke products, but as of the middle of April 2026, they are now serving Pepsi products. I want to note that there is a 3% order processing fee, likely for anyone paying by a card instead of cash. Even when I have been there at busier times, parking was never an issue. It feels like a family atmosphere too. On the most recent visit, they even stated that they notice us as regulars here now. If you're looking for a different place that serves more than just burgers, this place is worth checking out, as I have not seen a place around yet that has the Sloppy Joe type samich.

It was a beautiful evening. Our server was Lauryn, and she was great. She was nice and attentive but not worrisome. We had the Wisconsin Cheese Curds along with the house made Sangria. As an entree, I had the whiskey burger with truffle fries. I really liked the cheese curds; they're a lot flavorful than traditional mozzarella sticks. The house made sangria was really good too! We had to stop ourselves from just sucking it down. The burger is where I had the issue. It was a little on the dry side.... Too well done despite asking for medium. It also wasn't seasoned well. The only flavor rally came from the bbq sauce and onion straws. The truffle fries were good though. The menu said they won't best burger of Virginia Beach, and that was made me get a burger. Not the best burger I've ever had. Next time, I will try the pizza and probably go to the Shore drive location since that is closer to my house. Again, the vibe, service, and scenery was worth the drive.. the food not so much.
