I enjoyed my dining experience at this location. We made reservations for a group of 4 for Friday night and once arrived we were seated right away. Upon entering the hostess offered us a glass of complimentary champagne which I declined. Once seated our server Amelia came by to introduce herself and go over the menu. She was informative, attentive and very kind to us. She was upbeat and energetic which made the experience 10 times better and another reason why Granger's is getting a 5 instead of 4 stars. I started off with their mocktail and I got the Rothko-colada which I thought was a little too sweet for my liking but I did enjoy the pineapple flavor, it was strong. I also got to try my friend mocktail (dot-dot seurat) which I wasn't a fan of. After that we got an order of the Parmesan truffle fries & prime filet mignon tips (medium rare). The fries were delicious, Parmesan was strong. The filet mignon tips were tendered and seasoned to perfection. The whipped potatoes were fine but the Demi-glacé was very good. It was cooked more on the medium side but delicious nonetheless. After that we ordered our main courses. I got the crusted salmon and so did Tiffany J. Annalisa P. ordered the pesto pasta rotisserie chicken and my other friend got the wagyu burger. My salmon was cooked medium which I prefer & had a good crust on the bottom. I also had a side of sauté spinach which I should've pasted on it since it was bland. Very garlicky but that's all I got from it. I also got to sample my friend's burger, crispy Brussel sprouts & pesto pasta. The burger was juicy and the patty itself was high quality. Loved the addition of the caramelized onions. The Brussels sprout was a no for me, it was very sweet from idk what. The pesto pasta was very good and the noodles were al dente, chicken was also tendered. At the end I ordered their dessert and got the crème brûlée. Good caramelization on the top of the brûlée. The custard was slightly sweet, smooth, creamy and silky. It was the perfect consistency. Overall, I was satisfied. The food overall was a 4 but Amelia provided spectacular service and is the reason I'll give it a perfect 5 stars. She even checked on us after we paid our bill & packed our leftovers and labeled them. I will say that the ambiance is intimate but kind of loud. For entree I had the steak frites and I wish I would've gotten the shrimp scampi instead. My friend got the scampi and the shrimp were huge and the sauce was very tasty. The steak however was mid at best. It was cold by the time it came out. The chimichurri was definitely not the best I've have. The fries and aioli were the best part of it. It had a slightly burnt orange flavor to it, which I wasn't expecting, but it was my first time trying one so I didn't really have a baseline for comparison. For food, I ordered the breakfast platter. It was just okay in my opinion. The eggs could've used more salt and pepper, the bacon was very thick, and the potatoes were a bit under-seasoned. The highlight of the plate for me was definitely the French toast--it was really good. One thing to note is parking: you either need to use the nearby parking garage or pay $13 for valet, which is good to know ahead of time. We sat at the bar and our bartender was beyond friendly and we had a number of great conversations during our visit. Do check out their menu as they offer everything from fresh seafood to steaks and pork chops. There is also a wonderful wine menu and some interesting craft cocktails. I ordered their Old (Fashioned) Granger that is made with Buffalo Trace. I've had some bad OFs such as too much bitters but this one was perfectly balanced. Ditto with Plus 1s Paloma another perfectly balanced cocktail; not to bitter or sweet. We took a flyer on the beef carpaccio and it was sliced perfectly thin and accompanied with aged parmesan, capers, and dijon aioli. Then we went 180 degrees and ordered the crispy squid. Walking in felt a bit like stepping into the pages of a Fitzgerald novel...old world, new money. I ordered the Hummingbird Collins, which looked lovely in the glass but was ultimately forgettable as it didn't offer a discernible flavor profile. The tuna poke bowl was solid: balanced flavors, but I did add some radishes for more texture diversity. The bread pudding leaned fully into decadence so much so that one bite was almost too much. I've been here a few times and the food is slay good. The steaks, seafood, and desserts are really good. The meatloaf is tender. I want super crazy about the mushroom sauce on it but it was ok. Showed up without a resy, and was seated immediately. Only a few tables occupied. Parking- they have valet for a set amount I think $15 or $10, I cant exactly recall. But my friends and I came on a Sunday so street parking was free down the street. There is a meter Mon- Sat for street parking though. The medical building the business is connected to has a parking garage, I assume an hourly rate. The place is nicely decorated for Christmas upon my visit. Service- Issac was our server and he was training another server Henry who had a beautiful smile. They provided fast efficient service. Always filling our waters, and getting new silverware for us when we had a new dish. Our server said they had only been open 1 year. Food- we shared the crab hush puppies, which is there popular dish. That sauce was chefs kiss. I ordered the gulf snapper with shrimp $55. I subbed out the rice it comes with for a cesar salad, but I think they charged me for it? I figured it would be an even exchange of items but I guess not? Comes with asparagus and zucchini, only 2 shrimp though. It's a filling entree. My friend got eggs benedict without meat. And my other friend got the seared scallops- grilled nicely but too salty for her. I tried one, it was a touch salty but not terrible. I told her my saying is "I would rather it be overly salty than no salt or seasonings at all" she agreed. The scallops come with mushroom risotto which compliments the scallops well, yummy dish. The only thing was I think our steaks' doneness might've been switched. Mine came out medium and his was more medium rare. We told our server and we just ate it anyway, it was still good. I've had this spot on my radar for a while and decided to check them out on a Sunday afternoon. I asked the server for some recommendations, and she said a lot of people like the creamy spinach artichoke salmon pasta so I decided to go with that. Opened on Labor Day! Surprisingly not packed during lunch time. Started off with a mocktail which was the Pink Paloma (tarte and refreshing). For apps, we ordered some Parmesan Truffle Fries (crispy and you can deff taste the truffle flavor) and a dozen of the East Coast Gulf Oysters (pretty fresh). For my main, I got the Pan Seared Scallops (+ lemon butter, balsalmic glaze, mushroom risotto, grilled asparagus). Scallops were cooked nicely and well. Risotto was also tasty and paired well with the scallops. For an extra side, we got the brussel sprouts which were crispy and had a nice touch of sweetness from the balsamic glaze. For dessert, we ended with a creme brûlée (creamy and really tasty!). They also participated in HRW 2025, which the menu looked pretty good as well. Service was a little up and down. Well that was the best restaurant decision I have made so far. First of all the restaurant is so pretty. This is a beautiful restaurant. We were greeted with Champagne when we arrived and I thought that was nice. We were seated and the waiter came over to take our order. We ordered calamari for started and for our main course we had a fish and rice dish and I had the salmon and linguine pasta. Normally I don't get pasta when I go to restaurants but I am so glad I did because it was so delish! For drinks we kept it simple with water. But dessert was out of this world. My sisters and nieces and stepdaughter were on our way to see Morgan Wallen and I found this place to eat beforehand as my older sister wanted an upscale dining experience since she says she never goes out. It for the bill and we all enjoyed our drinks and meals. The loss of the star was due to the side dishes being lukewarm and entrees being piping hot (in my case my salmon was delicious and so were the potatoes but they were warm - big sis had the scallops which she said were top notch but her risotto - I think that's what her "side" was - was lukewarm). My little sister had a salmon protein bowl my oldest niece had a poke bowl and the two youngins had a kids burger and pasta. All left satisfied. Beautiful restaurant, had parking out front when we arrive me around 4 but when we left about 530 they were moving cones I believe for valet that they offer (unsure if it costs money) I would recommend! read more

Visited for a Sunday brunch and so pleased by this visit top to bottom. Upon entering, we were greeted with glasses of complimentary Prosecco. We were sat quickly and greeted by multiple servers. The restaurant was beautiful and very clean. We ordered the mimosa flights and were so shocked they were served in full wine glasses versus a mini board like we've seen at other restaurants. They also offered quirky flavors such as prickly pear and cucumber- both of which were amazing! For food we ordered the shrimp and grits and tacos- both of which were amazing. The grits were served with an etoufee sauce that was well seasoned. The food could have been a smidge hotter but was still enjoyable. There was a table sat behind us that was aggressively complaining and very rude to staff. Despite all they were saying, the manager handled it well and was very personable from what we could hear. The bar staff constantly checked in with us and were very attentive. Overall great experience and can't wait to try again! read more

Came for a late lunch it was not busy at all. All staff were friendly, helpful and informative. The seafood food was fresh and taste was overwhelming good. I dont typical like crab cakes but I even enjoyed them! It was pretty quiet there, but I can see it potentially being packed around happy hour times or on weekends.The patio was very nice but it was about to rain , so I enjoyed sitting at the bar in interacting with the bartenders. The only caveat is that there is no free parking around unless you are there.After six where the parking meters are free on the street. I'll definitely be back. read more

Granger's is more of an upscale restaurant within the museum district. The food is really good. Our table had the Cowboy Burger, Redfish Pontchartrain, and the 1/2 Grilled Chicken. All of us truly enjoyed our meal. They also have a really good wine selection. Bottom line - Definitely more upscale than any other restaurants in that specific area. Really good food and wine.
