Overhyped. We waited two hours on a Sunday morning at 9:30am after being told it was a 30 min wait. Wow. The service was very kind and apologetic. The food was just ok. The biscuits are fine, but not great. Husband said the fried chicken was good, but he agreed the biscuit was not at all special or particularly good. The white country gravy was flavorful. I can't speak to the cinnamon roll. We ordered it, but it never came. It's currently tucked away in a to go box. I'll update if it's noteworthy. If you live close and come at a non busy time, this is a fine place. If you live outside the immediate neighbor or there's a wait, it's not worth it.
Hot honey chicken biscuit on a brioche bun was pretty good, also had fries, that were crispy. Ashlee was great, she had a great personality. The hostess was great as well, she managed everything with calmness and patience. Vibes were awesome, had some old school music playing overhead, that added to the vibes. It's a happening place, will definitely return. Once they get a bartender, vibes will probably increase.
This James Beard Bib Gourmand/Michelin Rated establishment left me disappointed. Ordered the hot honey chicken biscuit with egg and cheddar. 99% of the time, kitchens over season their breakfast sammys. Bomb Biscuit? Not even close. For me to have to add salt was shocking. Not much heat in the hot honey either. They could ease up on the honey too to balance out the lack of seasoning. The chicken was a little on the greasy side chef. I can see why people love this place but this Thursday Bomb Biscuit was more of a dud. Don't worry, I'll try you again BB.
Great food, great people, great atmosphere. I always stop by this Michelin star spot when in Atlanta. Love the new location. It has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Inside it is very aesthetically appealing with bar and table options and I love the decor. The service is great and I feel like family when I visit. Now to the best part- the food! They didn't get a Michelin star for nothing. The biscuits are ... well...bomb! You can get the classic breakfasts like bacon, egg, cheese, grits or you can get chicken, pancakes, waffles and sweet or savory biscuits. I've had several items and they were all delicious. A great place for a great breakfast in Atlanta!!!
We came in on a Saturday morning, and it wasn't busy (snow was expected, so I'm sure that's why). They asked if we had a reservation - I wasn't aware you could make them. But I've heard there can be long waits, so I'll definitely look into that next time. There's a parking lot outside shared with multiple businesses, so there is parking available. I got the lemon pepper fried chicken biscuit. I thought it was really good! Was it the best biscuit I've ever had? No, but it was a very solid biscuit. There are so many fun options of biscuits to get, and I'm excited to come back. This would be a great place to bring visitors from out of town!
Get there early. Seriously. The place gets absolutely packed, and space is limited. The crowd is completely justified though. I'm all about the fried chicken biscuit breakfast. It's my favorite, hands down. Honorable mention also goes to Bobby's Breakfast (I think that's what it's called?) with the salmon croquettes. So good! Our server handled our party of 6 like a champ, and the food came out without too much of a wait considering how busy it was. There's a large parking lot available, but it fills up fast. Again, early reservation and on time arrival will make all the difference. The only tiny letdown was that the lemonade wasn't homemade like I expected, but I still thoroughly enjoyed my experience and I'll be back.
I wanted to try out this restaurant because of the high ratings but also because of their Michelin bib award as well! I made the reservation a week in advance (I would advise that you make one because I heard it was almost wait for those who didn't have one on a Wednesday)! The restaurant has a modern and clean vibe but limited seating. Even with a reservation I waited for about 20 minutes and about 20-25 minutes for food. Food wise, I ordered the lemon pepper chicken biscuits and Chicken and biscuit breakfast. It was so filling and yummy! I loved the biscuits and the lemon pepper seasoning was delicious - extra yummy with some honey I asked for on the side! Lots of flavors but honestly, not something I would crave or something that tasted unique. I still recommend giving this place a visit at least once though
Bomb Biscuit might be the number one biscuit spot in all of Atlanta. I have been so many times and I can't wait to go back and try each item on the menu. Beware, on the weekend, especially Saturday, there is a line...a long line, to be seated. But, trust me, it's worth it - you wont' be disappointed. First, get a biscuit sandwich. Doesn't matter which one, I personally prefer the classic bacon, egg, and cheese, but the chicken ones are equally as good. If they have any special biscuits, you should try it too, ours was perfection. Sadly, I would skip the hash browns, they weren't worth it, just get another biscuit and won't be disappointed!
Went on a hunt for a new place for Sunday brunch and decided to see if the reviews were correct. I am pleased to say they were. They had a 45 mins wait but once seated the service was great. Out server was able to provide a life of the most popular items. I went with the honey hot and the gloried chicken biscuits . The chicken was delicious and definitely made the biscuit. I also had a pineapple upside down mimosas that didn't pack a punch but was tasty. I will definitely be back
I want to try everything at this location. Staff was extremely friendly and service was fast. I ordered Carolina's Finest. It is a Chicken Biscuit sandwich covered in sausage gravy and two bacon slices. The sandwich is huge and tastes great. There were giant chunks of sausage in the gravy. Food tastes great and this place is worth the hype.
Adorable! What a cute little breakfast spot..... cute & Busy...... with a 45 min wait time so you may want to make a reservation. I ordered the Uncle Bobby's Plate which came with 2 salmon patties, grits, eggs and if course a biscuit.... It's a lot of food, being greedy and all I ordered a side of hash brown casserole, sorry to say that every thing was a little under seasoned, but we straighten that out...... so lets talk about that biscuit ( I like my biscuit light and fluffy ) and these are definitely heavy & doughy, the salmon patties was also not to my liking, a bit doughy as well and unlike any salmon patty I ever had. The grits were creamy and the eggs were ......eggs. Maybe we will try something different the next time. They have really good non alcohol juice beverages, and we watched about 15 cinnamon rolls come out within a one hour time period.. So I will definitely try those the next visit. read more
Yummy biscuits!! Definitely make reservations ahead of time if you can! Had a solid breakfast here - we got the Hot Honey Chicken Biscuit and the SEC. Contrary to what I thought, I actually enjoyed the SEC more and might've actually opted for the normal chicken biscuit in hindsight. It's not that the Hot Honey is bad by any means, it just didn't quite have the flavor profile I was imagining. The biscuit itself was nice and soft, though I could've used a bit more butter heh. Would definitely come back to try other sammies and some of their sweet treats. Service felt a hair slow but it was also constantly busy. Your parking options are either a small lot on the right side of the building, or free street parking. read more

I'd been hearing great things about Bomb Biscuit and we finally made our way here on a beautiful, but chilly Saturday morning. We lucked up and found free parking in the small lot beside the restaurant. They were busy and we didn't have reservations, but were quickly seated at the bar. We ordered the glorified chicken biscuit, the hot honey chicken biscuit, a waffle, potatoes and bacon. The hot honey chicken was divine. It wasn't spicy in my opinion, but the flavor was great. The top of the biscuit was a little hard though. The waffle was a bit dense, but flavored well. The potatoes weren't crispy at all. The bacon was delicious. The customer service was exceptional. Every one that we encountered were extremely welcoming and pleasant. read more
We on a Saturday so there was a crowd but I was seated pretty quick. The chicken biscuit was good and filled me up. I even had some to take home for later. The price was reasonable and I was definitely happy to support a fellow HBCU ALUMNI. I'll be back to try something different. #AAMU read more

I got the Hot Honey Chicken Biscuit, it was so good! The chicken was fried perfectly--crispy on the outside and juicy inside--and the flavor was amazing. The buttermilk biscuit was delicious and went perfectly with the chicken. I got mine fully loaded with an egg and cheddar cheese, and it all came together beautifully. I also ordered the hash brown casserole, which was incredible--super cheesy with great flavor. Everything was hot and fresh, and the service was fantastic. My order came out quickly, and everyone was friendly. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the biscuit had so much sauce and honey that the bottom half completely fell apart when I picked it up--it was just too saturated. Still, the food and flavors were excellent overall, and I'd definitely come back! read more
The wait was long even though there were a lot of empty tables. Found out that they only had two servers and didn't want to overwhelm them. Once we were seated, the server took about 10 minutes before she came to our table. She was super friendly. The place is small, but has an outdoor seating area. We sat outside. The place is clean. The food was pretty good. My husband didn't like his salmon patties. He said they needed to be seasoned. The bacon was delicious. The fried chicken biscuit was amazing. The pancakes were really good too. I would go back with someone other than my husband because he didn't enjoy his breakfast. read more

Service was amazing. Food was amazing. Our server said they were moving so I can't wait to visit again in their new location. I had the lemon pepper chicken biscuit and I must say that lemon pepper seasoning was on point. It was just the right amount of seasoning and tasted so good. The restaurant doesn't look big, but there is a lot of seating in the back. It was cool inside and we had a little view of nature back there too. Street parking is your best bet, but depending on the time you come it may take a while to find a spot. The grits were so creamy and the potatoes were to die for. Everything tasted good. read more
Nice little breakfast spot in the downtown area. Super busy so if you're interested in going please be prepared to wait. We both ordered the uncle Bobby salmon breakfast. With a side of hash brown casserole The presentation was everything. But unfortunately, I gotta give it a real low rating 3 stars . The scrambled eggs with cheese super delicious. The grits were OK. But that salmon cake it's horrible. To Had to be 20% salmon and the rest breaded. I was definitely not pleased. Oh and before I forget the bomb biscuit is most definitely overrated. It taste like bland . But once again, the service was great very friendly and very clean inside. read more
Perfect. When in Atlanta something I definitely want is fried chicken and an amazing biscuit. Well if bomb biscuit does anything well it's fried chicken and an amazing biscuit! The hot honey biscuit was absolutely phenomenal. I still think about it now that I'm back in New York and wish I could get it here. Service was great - our waiter couldn't have been friendlier and ambience is exactly what it should be for a great fried chicken and biscuit breakfast place. I will without a doubt be coming back to bomb biscuit next time I'm in Atlanta. read more
We ordered: The Glori-Fried Chicken Biscuit "Fully Loaded" - Fried chicken thigh, honey butter, bread&butter pickles + eggs + cheese & Hot Honey Chicken Biscuits Biscuits were crispy, buttery, and soft. Whole thing is a delightful butter bomb when you read the ingredients. I loved the seasoning and juiciness of the fried chicken thigh. No issues with service. Decent amount of seating for up to medium size groups. read more

Wow! Bomb biscuit was a perfect weekend breakfast spot. We were able to get a table for 7 rather quickly and everyone helping was so kind. The biscuits were sooo flaky and just fell apart in the best way! The fried chicken was delicious and most of us added on the egg and cheese. Do not sleep on the gravy! We got one side to share and add onto our sandwich and it was delicious! 10/10 read more
The biscuits are great. The sandwiches are fire. The service is good. It's a very small area so keep that in mind, you won't be able to fit a party of 10 in there. But it's still good. You can get in. Depending on what time you go you may have to wait around, so just plan for that in your day. Street parking is the thing. Joe, kind of get it where you can. But there is plenty of parking regardless. One side of the building is the carryout area so you have to stand around for that. But they'll take your name and number and give you a shot when it's time to pick it up. The other side is the dine-in part where it looks a lot bigger. Thang you would think because they have a back area with a bar type place that you can use as seats as well. I've been a couple of times. I've not been disappointed yet. read more
Carolina's Finest was too salty. Gravy was too salty, bacon was way too salty. In terms of overall taste, gravy was average as well. Chicken was pretty good, but not mind-blowing. Biscuit was a tad dry. Lemon pepper was delicious. I liked the chicken in this one better than the Carolina. Prices are pretty fair. We had nice "outdoor" seats facing the bike path. read more

My favorite biscuit and fried chicken sandwich ever! The chicken was crispy, flavorful, and moist. The best fried chicken for sure. The waitress also suggested the hash brown casserole. This was a phenomenal breakfast side dish and a wonderful suggestion. The grits were good as well. Not mind blowing. The wait on a Sunday morning for two was 30 minutes. For bigger groups it was up to 90 minutes. Service for food to come out was a bit slow but everything is made from scratch so it's understandable. Our waitress was friendly and everyone in the shop was so nice. Also a very reasonable priced brunch! Would definitely go back and worth the wait. read more
Wow! It certainly has been on my list to try for a long time. The Bacon Egg and Cheese biscuit was a fabulous choice. It truly is a must visit. We found parking quite quickly and there was no waiting. We did visit on a Wednesday at about 11:30z. I've passed by Bomb Biscuit so many times passing through Inman Park and finally made a visit! My friends and I were walking the Beltline on a Saturday morning and decided to pull off to check out this spot. We decided to get takeout since there were some public outdoor tables, but Bomb Biscuit does go pretty far back with their own indoor seating. One of my friends ordered while the rest of our group sat down and it still took my friend about 30 min to place the order and another 10 for the order to be ready. I got a hot honey chicken biscuit fully loaded (aka added egg and cheese). The hot honey chicken was delicious and a good mix of heat and sweat (although I could've definitely liked a liiiitle more kick!). The biscuit itself was a little dry and crumbly for my liking but still pretty solid. Overall, good food, but wish the takeout process had been quicker. read more

Finally made my way to bomb biscuit! I've been meaning to make a stop here. We came in a Saturday morning late and opted for take out. They have a bunch of tables nearby that you can sit at and that's what we opted for versus waiting for a table. It still took me about 20 minutes to order because there was a line and occasionally it pauses to let the kitchen catch up for dine in and to go. I ended up with the classic biscuit. I was going to get a cinnamon roll but they ran out by the time I got there. After that it took another maybe 10 minutes for the order. Overall it was a really good biscuit. It was a little dry but still pretty tasty. My complaint is I am not sure the time it takes to get the biscuit is worth it. read more

Was on the Beltline and decided to stop by. There is the restaurant option and the takeout option and I appreciated that, since I was just passing through the neighborhood. Loved the HBCU decorations that adorn the takeout spot! The staff were friendly and vibrant. We ordered a few things, but the Jerk Chicken biscuit was my favorite! My only disappointment is that it didn't have enough sauce on it and I had to pay for additional sauce. read more

First, let me say what I'm experiencing with bomb biscuit is nothing new, it seems to be the way restaurants operate in Atlanta. There is no consistency. People often ask me what is my favorite restaurant in Atlanta, I honestly don't have one. Because one day you'll go to a restaurant the food will be amazing. Two days later you go back to the same restaurant order the same food and it's completely different. There is no consistency. This is the second or third time that I've had biscuits from bond biscuit. The first time maybe I was too excited, but I ordered the fried chicken biscuit that bacon egg and cheese biscuit and both were quite good. Yesterday I ordered the fried chicken biscuit and a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit and they were both disgusting. Someone clearly forgot the salt. We all know things are so expensive nowadays and I think I spent $30 at least on two biscuits and like I said I was sorely disappointed. Bomb biscuits are no longer da bomb. I won't be ordering from here again. I do not have money to waste. read more

Quaint breakfast spot that stays open to the afternoon to allow for a late brunch past noon. Biscuit and breakfast entree items. Nice staff and fast service. Fresh and hot food. Tables are closer together than I would like (felt like Paris) but it is doable. The back can offer a nice weather seating in the summer. Nice size biscuit portions. After years of hearing about Bomb Biscuit, I finally visited the tiny eatery in Old Fourth Ward to sample the biscuits that Food & Wine Magazine deems the best in the South and that have earned Erika Council's restaurant a Michelin Bib Gourmand designation. Atlanta Brunch spots are busy on the weekend. And Bomb Biscuit is no exception. If you want to eat in the dining area, which is reminiscent of a southern grandmother's kitchen on a Sunday after church, reservations are strongly advised. Since online ordering was temporarily disabled, I decided to pick up on a Saturday late in the morning, which entailed standing and waiting in the carry-out section. The 50-minute transaction was well worth it. My husband and I ordered a Glori-Fried Chicken Biscuit with egg and a Hot Honey Chicken Biscuit. The golden brown-fried, buttermilk-brined chicken thigh with a honey butter drizzle is delicious by itself. And then you add the towering, flaky, tender, buttery biscuit and bread-and-butter pickles. We also liked the heat of the homemade hot honey sauce. Unfortunately, before I could make my order, the counter sold out of the cinnamon rolls. That only means that I must return to sample them and other delights, such as the chocolate chip biscuits, the Big Country Ham Biscuit, and the Classic (bacon, egg, and cheese). read more
The Bomb Biscuit biscuits are the bomb! No seriously, super tasty, super filling, super satisfying. Buttery southern goodness that totally makes you forgive the sweltering summer heat. We were so eager to try this place out that we stopped at the take-out storefront and realized only AFTER we got our biscuit sandwiches that not six steps further and we would have been able go visit the Bomb Biscuit eat-in restaurant lol and gotten air conditioning. read more

I went here to finally check out Bomb Biscuit as I've heard great reviews. Upon arrival, parking is pretty scarce but luckily I found a place to park on the street for free. When I approached the restaurant, I noticed a line. But luckily the cashier got everyone's orders in quickly. I waited for about 20 minutes for my food to come out as I waited in the corner with the last stool available in the small quaint restaurant. I purchased the glori-fied chicken biscuit so I could check out the flavors of the chicken. The sandwich was hot and the biscuit was great. The chicken was a little too salty for me. But other than that, all was good. I would like to go back and try a different sandwich. read more

Hot honey chicken biscuit was realllyy goood; biscuit itself was good not great, chicken was soft and crispy, pickles were really good (listed as bread and butter but tasted more kosher dill which is my fave). Hot honey was INCREDIBLE got a little extra for dipping. Pricing is decent, ambiance was cleaned and simple, service was average as well read more

Aggie Pride! My girlfriend and I ordered two chicken biscuits. Prices are good for the size. One side is a restaurant and the other is for pick up orders only; there is street parking available. The chicken needed a bit more seasoning. The biscuit was so flaky and soft. read more
I did a quick to-go order. The chick at the register was sweet. Order was ready in about 8 mins. Didn't take too long. The biscuit...honestly, not a fan. It's more biscuit than what came inside. "My" biscuit was super thick and dry. Doughy. Ashy. There was no flavor. Ya know, plain. Not buttery or...something. I love biscuits and this just wasn't it for me. The strawberry lemonade...I waited an additional 6 to 8 mins for that. Not sure if they were making it or what. She did come to the front a couple times to tell me it was coming. But it was super tart and not sweet. Basically, I didn't drink it I hate wasting money. I really don't have a good experience. Idk if it was just the day I went or the cook or the batch of biscuits or maybe that's actually what it's like ,,.but I doubt I'll be back. read more
