Great macarons they are fresh and delicious. Great location inside grannville island market place. Friendly staff.

While wandering the market, we were super excited to stumble upon macarons! With so many flavors to choose from, we had a hard time settling on 6. Our box ended up being hit or miss. We tried the coffee, PB & jam, Gouda & chive, Boston cream, vanilla, and dark chocolate raspberry. I was excited to try the Gouda one for a more savory flavor, but honestly it just wasn't very good. I didn't get the flavor combo coming through. The dark chocolate raspberry was overkill on the raspberry, to the point it tasted fake. The vanilla was okay but again pretty heavy with the vanilla flavoring. The coffee and PB & Jam we're good. Coffee flavor was spot on and not overkill, Pb & Jam really did taste like the sandwich and worked well. Overall, I'm not sure I would come back, but did enjoy a couple of flavors.

Yum! So many flavor options, both sweet and savory. The kitchen (which is where they also offer private group classes) is also on the island. Visit both if you have time. The kitchen has only a few flavors because they send them to the other building.

Bon jour, bon appetite, Bon macarons... I have been to a lot of the macaron places in the lower mainland plus ordered and tried from a lot of the private home based pastry chefs. At the end of the day, I still bring myself back to Bon's for macarons. Are they the best in taste, quality and price? To be fair, they aren't the best in each particular category but are one of the better ones in the overall categories and consistent. Here were what I ordered this time around. 1. 30pcs assorted box. Overall, the day is always a bit sweeter when bringing home a box of Bon's macarons to enjoy. I always appreciate the friendly and more personal services especially when the owner is around, giving it that beautiful atmosphere which it does make most things sweeter. Plus most times I am there, they give a free sample on a new flavour. Give them a visit next time you are in Granville Island! BON appetite!!

Their macarons are so good, less sweet and more mouthful than Thierry's. Highly recommend trying the alcohol ones or acidic ones or the fun ones like yuzu or fig balsamic

I had to do a double take while passing this macaron shop in Granville Public Market. They have so many different and interesting flavors that are enticing and unique. At first I ordered a box of 6 but the flavors were just so interesting I ended up getting 9 or so. I recommend going to their website to scope the flavors and try the ones that are interesting. All the flavors I tried definitely matched their flavors too!

It is quite a love-hate affair for me on macarons. I love how pretty and dainty they are but I hate how often they are just so sickeningly sweet. The best macaron I had so far was from Paris, it had a light and airy shell with not overly sweet creamy filling. Along came Bon Macaron Patisserie. I had probably tried some of its macarons at other cafes in vancouver before. I recognized the designs and colors now. I was blown away by the savory macarons here. They were not sweet and I could make out what they were. So I have been going to the shop every week just so I could try the different flavors -- 8 macarons on each visit. I also learnt they are best eaten at room temperature but to be kept refrigerated. By day 3 or 4 and longer, the macarons are not that fresh and the shells could crack and shatter into pieces when bitten. It happened to me on day 6. Of those I have tried, I love the BACON macaron. Yes! Bacon! How could anyone dislike bacon?! It has that smokey bacon taste with a slight sweetness. Do not confuse it with maple bacon. Maple bacon macaron is much sweeter and the bacon taste is very subdued and overpowered by the maple. The runner up is sake macaron. It has a subtle sake taste which creeps up on you like an afterthought. I like chocolate so the whisky dark chocolate is my third choice. Rich creamy chocolate taste with a hint of alcohol. The fruity macarons are a mixed bag. I could hardly discern the mangosteen or watermelon taste. The watermelon macaron is very cute though. The citrusy and zesty fruity macarons pack a punch. Yuzu. Guava. Passion fruit green tea. The other savory macarons can be quite strong in taste especially the goat cheese. Tomato basil is not bad. I did not care for ketchup chip. Truffle and pink salt is a tad too salty. S'mores is too sweet. I could go on and on. There is also the baking studio a few minutes walk away from the main store and that has more special and unique flavors. Take the time to walk over if you have an adventurous palate and like trying new flavors. Oh and at $1.50 each, this is quite affordable to get at least half a dozen each time. Don't forget the bacon. Or maybe forget it so I can have more!

While I was wandering the market, I happen to see this place carry all different type of macaroons. They have lots of different variety. Taste pretty good. Service is good. :) Would definitely try other flavor next time.

Had to try it when I ran into it on a trip to BC. The guy working was very friendly, helpful, and made some great recommendations. I enjoyed the pack that we put together and had fun tasting the nuances of the flavors. the bleu cheese and pear was a highlight and something I had not tried before. Wish i got more!

Super cute display with tons of flavors to choose from inside the Granville. I got a box of 6 plus one mango with lychee at the last minute. They are pretty tiny for the price and some of the flavors didn't come through over the sweetness of the shell. The shell tasted a lil dry to me and then the inside was too mushy? Overall, I'm glad I tried them because they are so pretty, but there weren't any flavors that blew me away.

    1. The macarons here have VERY unique flaovrs (sake, whiskey chocolate, champagne to name a few and a bunch of exotic fruit flavors). 2. Price here is very very reasonable/cheap comparing to macarons from the US (specifically in Los Angeles). 3. Apparently Seth Rogen comes here for macarons all the time. 4. They were good even after sitting in the fridge for 2 days! (Although ideal consumption time is within 24 hours). Would definitely recommend!

Delectable morsels, that are worth a try if you enjoy macarons. The taste, texture and appearance are wonderful. They have 30+ various flavours to choose from. I would want to order from this place again and again. The pictures say it all

This place is amazzzing! Always my daughter's request to bring back some when I go to Canada. It makes her so happy to have these! The staff that works here is super friendly. I totally recommend this place to my friends and family. Price is pretty reasonable. Always a treat and pleasure to come here.

I found J'Adore Les Macarons on Yelp that they offer macron class, let's do it! The instructor Connie is friendly and knowledgeable. My friend and I arrived 10 mins early before the class, the notes and some ingredients were prepared and placed on countertop. Yes, we made macarons at her kitchen. The first thing I learnt from Connie was how to pronounce Macaron. (Mac-a-ron). Macaron is referring to the French Macaron. If pronounce it macaroon, it is the coconut kind. We started with a cup of tea and tasted beautiful macarons during the class. Our group decided to make Lavender macarons with buttercream and chocolate ganache which made of 66% Valhrona dark chocolate. Connie taught us her secrets and techniques to make Parisian macarons. During the class, she vigilant in checking and measuring the ingredients. After 4 hours long class, I really enjoyed and learnt a lot. I took 18 macarons home and shared with my friend and hubby. I would recommend any macaron lover to take the class or buy the macarons from Connie

I am relatively new to them as just being introduced to them this year! Although I am a macaron noob, I've looked online and read recipes and know enough about them to truly appreciate the precision that goes into its creation. So I went to their website and signed up for a class on Victoria day. I went on my own as my friend was unavailable. Connie, the instructor emailed me promptly to let me know as soon as there are 4 people in the class, it will be good to go. The class is held at Connie's house which I liked as it was warm and comfortable and made me feel at ease. I'm just a self-taught baker making assorted cookies and cupcakes at home and have never taken a class before so I didn't know what to really expect. The intimate setting of having 4 students was awesome. She had tea for us to drink, fun aprons to wear and 2 sample macarons to taste as we learned the secrets of baking macarons. It's great for people who have tried making macarons and need to tweak something to make consistent perfect macarons. You can tell Connie is just obsessed with macarons. I love it! She has done the work, spent time learning the skill and art of them and loves sharing that information through her classes. I think she said she has been making macarons weekly for the past year and a half! That's a LOT of macarons. If you love macarons and love to bake, Connie's class is a MUST. I had so much fun, and she is so pleasant. She even welcomes emails if you have a macaron crisis at home and have questions in the future. The price is fair. $100 for instruction PLUS you get to take 20 macarons home! It was definitely worth it. The whole experience makes me dreamy for Paris and macarons. Thank-you again Connie for generously sharing your expertise!
