Treat yourself!!!! This was the best steak I have had in a while!! Cooked exactly how I asked, was able to switch the mashed potatoes out to brussel sprouts. Calamari flavorful Parmesan wings delicious. I also enjoyed my garlic bread, which is a must have the only thing that could have been better with the drinks. Nice brunch experience. Great location on the National Harbor strip. Really good service (4*). Google calls it a steakhouse, but the menu says Italian. Lots of options for both on the menu....Italian steakhouse? I really like the decor, lots of seating options including an outdoor patio in nice weather. I had the Arancini app, and it was delightful. I really enjoyed the fried ball of rice ball goodness, but the generous helping of sauce put it over the top. It was so, so good. I felt like fried chicken, so I went for the Chicken and Waffle. As expected, the fried chicken was sitting on top of the waffle. The chicken had an aioli drizzle on top. I'm not a big mayonnaise fan but decided to try it anyway. For me, the aioli wasn't a favorite. As you can see from the pics, the chicken were small, boneless "nugget" style bites. The roasted potatoes were well seasoned but not much to it. The waffle was ok, kinda thin, and not really crunchy since it was at the bottom of all that. It came with a side salad that was just greens. I enjoyed it, but a couple of tomatoes and other veggies would have been nice. For service and decor, 4*. I've been a couple of times and enjoyed the meals. This establishment is gorgeous inside. It is also right on the water and they offer outdoor seating as well. Our server Bryce was phenomenal, he was attentive and knowledgeable about their offerings. First off the location is awesome Right on the water and the vibe inside is really cool. Sort of prohibition kind of vibe. Our server was awesome. We had a party of five and three separate checks which they don't really do but she did for us. She was attentive and funny. My wife ordered the crispy chicken sandwich. Bond 45 was A O K. My toddler niece and toddler son liked the spaghetti and meatballs very much. If you love a very saucy dish, this may be for you. The meatball tasted pretty good but may have had a little too much 4C or whatever they use for breadcrumbs for my taste. I had the seafood linguini and it was okay. The service was ok - they sat us in our own little private area since we had a large party. The area even had saloon doors to separate the party. The server could have been a little more patient with us - I couldn't help but feel he was trying to push us to make an order. I couldn't put my finger on it but there appeared to be a disconnection with how the restaurant looked outside vs how it looked inside vs how it looked at our seated area - it was as if the restaurant aged as we went from the entrance to where we sat. Plus, it felt modern at first but turned into an old school Italian Restaurant. I didn't mind that, I just thought the message of it being an Italian restaurant could have been conveyed throughout. Even the gentlemen serving us appeared to have Italian accents which threw me off at first but was an indication, "okay this is an Italian restaurant right down to the theming here." Also (and this could be ignorance at play so my apologies up front) - if your restaurant has the name "Bond" in it - are you sort of predisposed to having a certain aesthetic that matches the name? I saw nothing of James Bond in it and it confused the heck out of me. Had reservations, but we arrived early and were seated right away. The server was friendly and attentive. Ordered some appetizers..wings, caprese, meatballs and prosciutto. For those that are low carb..wings are not breaded ordered with parmasean, and for caprese ordered balasmic on side. Not large portions but good. For dinner, I had wedge salad, which was a good portion and good. Others had Caesar salad with roasted chicken, short ribs, ribeye, lamb chops.No complaints with food, all stated it was good, didn't get the "it was fantastic" vibe. Food was good but didn't wow us for the price. On that note, be prepared it is a pretty pricey check/bill. I would say good place for a special occasion. read more

I got an extra patty in my burger and ended up having basically a triple whopper. I ate everything because I was pretty hungry and even ate half of my gf chicken sandwich. Very authentic with the look and vibes. Everyone I came across was so sweet from the host, to the waitstaff. Our waiter was "Candace G" and she was so sweet and gave great recommendations pertaining to the food options. We had: ~ Rigatoni Bolognese - my friend ordered for dinner so I'm not sure what she thought of it, but it looked delicious. ~ Spaghetti Carbonara - the bit I tasted was really good! The pancetta was crisp and was A great mix with the pasta ~ Chicken Wings - ask for them extra crispy! They were soooooooo good!!!! Both flavors were really good ~ Arancini - actually really good! Crisp on the outside and soft and cheesy and gooey inside. ~ Fried Shrimp & Calamari - I should have asked for it to be fried a little harder, it was slightly soft and the crust fell off the calamari and shrimp. Last but not least, the BREAD?!????? Delicious. So crispy on the outside and soft and buttery inside. I hate that I didn't get a picture but we demolished the bread as soon as it hit the table One thing I recommend is that, if it's cold out, request to not sit in the green area sections. Service was amazing, we had a party of 12 and we lucked out. They were able to accommodate us within minutes during a busy time. Took a while for food to come but it was well worth it. My table ordered a variety of dishes that all looked and tasted great. From seafood to a tomahawk to fried and pasta. Everything was scrumptious! I don't do seafood but the table raved about the calamari which had fried jalapeños. So try this. At the recommendation of a colleague we had an after dinner drink which consisted of an espresso and an amaretto shot. Mix to your desire and it was wonderful. The restaurant overlooks the bay and was somewhat dim creating a relaxing atmosphere. I'm from Texas but will return when back in National Harbor. read more

I'm extremely disappointed in this restaurant and the management since having a bad experience, posting a review and being told to contact STEPHANIE HOLMES - DIRECTOR OF GUEST SERVICES. I called Stephanie Holmes twice now (at her request to discuss my experience) only to be told she's not at her desk. She's not called back and apparently does not have voicemail. Strange. All the way around this restaurant and management is totally dysfunctional and run by inept people. For reference, this is the original review: The food was good. The service was good. What absolutely ruined the experience was when the General Manager (John?) came out and chatted up the table of 6 girls next to us for 30 minutes. I believe he was feeding his ego more than anything. While it's nice to check on your guests, this was rude, obnoxious and in poor "taste" for patrons at a table nearby trying to relax and unwind from a busy day. I couldn't even have a conversation with my husband, as it was too chaotic with loud shrieks, laughter and picture taking. Shame on him for not being considerate. read more

The service here was fantastic. I walked in and was greeted. I came a little early for my reservation and still was able to be seated promptly. The server came right over with a water and a menu. She informed me of all their specials and their more popular drinks. Both bartenders were very attentive. I didn't want have to search for them they were always readily available even though the bar was busy. The restaurant itself is beautiful. The deep rich woods. Lots of natural light. Soft music in the background. You have an amazing views of the harbor. They also offer outdoor seating. While at Bond 45 I ordered the Scallops with the mushroom risotto. The scallops were pan-seared to perfection, lightly seasoned. The risotto was the highlight of this dish. The risotto wasn't as creamy as I like, but it was packed full of flavor. There was generous with the mushrooms that really bought out the truffle oil. I also ordered a Caesar salad, I loved the dressing. Since I moved to the area, I've been wanting to try this location. In part because it reminds me of home where I have fond memories of seeing the Phantom of the Opera and grabbing dinner at their NYC location. Also, I love Italian. I stopped in for lunch on Saturday, and was immediately impressed by the foyer's decor. It has some great pizzaz. The patio is beautiful and the green house looks amazing the color is very vibrant. Once we were sat, we were immediately greeted by our waiter, he was very attentive, maybe a bit too attentive. He kept our drinks filled, and always seemed nearby. The restaurant wasn't busy, so I can understand why but it almost felt like he was rushing us. We started with garlic bread, it was ok. They precut the roll, and top it with parmesan while inside has butter. Afterward, my wife had the seafood linguine and I have chicken parm with rigatoni. The menus headline is the pasta is housemade. You can taste the difference, with the rigatoni, it tasted thicker when compared to a box pasta bought in the store. But frankly, I was not a huge fan of it. The chicken parm was fine. The pomodoro sauce lacked any real flavor. My wife enjoyed her meal, in fact, she enjoyed so much that when I finished mine, after the waiter took my plate, he instinctively assumed my wife was finished and grabbed hers too. She was a bit taken aback as she still had her fork in her hand and had just finished taking a bite. She asked if she could continue and he abruptly put her plate back and handed me a dessert menu shortly thereafter. We both looked at one another in shock, and I tried making light of the situation. We both agreed on the raspberry sorbet. The best part of the entire meal. I would go back, if it was just to order the raspberry, it was delicious. But again, before I could finish the sorbet, (sorbet came with two scoops I hadn't even finished the first) I had the bill placed into my hands. Our favorite restaurant for dining at the Harbor. My go-to is always arancini and whole bone-in sea bass. Arancini has a nice flavor balance to the accompanying marinara. Sea bass is perfectly seasoned and very easy to debone (my preference to debone as I enjoy my meal). My husband's meal of choice is the prime rib eye steak. It's always a perfectly cooked and juicy medium rare. We've never had a miss. Service is always excellent whether sitting in the conservatory or on the covered patio/balcony. Wine selection is abundant. Bond45 is easily onn our top 3 for a local date night. read more

I ended up ordering the roasted salmon with canellini beans. I was pretty good but was way TOO hot. Like I burned my mouth when I tried to take a bit and had to wait awhile for the food to cool down. My wonderful steak eating grandson was visiting me while he was off from school for Presidents Day! So off to Bond 45 we went! We were sat at a cute table by the window and presented with the menus by a lovely young hostess. As soon as my grandson saw the garlic bread app..it was game on! And when I say game on it was a two loaf day! It was warm and delicious and the kid ate every bite! He opted for the steak frittes and I went with the spaghetti and meatballs..both were hot..well seasoned and DELICIOUS! The meatballs were a nice size and the sauce was to die for! Solid with the caveat that I only sat at the bar for HH and had snacks. Bond 45 is quite elegant in a clubby sort of way, with dark wood and tile floors. Menu wise expect Italian classics with an emphasis on seafood, because Maryland. I had a non HH rose (because the HH wines were not great, Bob) which I liked very much. For food, I had an order of meatballs ($7) which is perfect for a light, keto-ish meal. Honestly, they're really good and you should get them even if you're not on HH. We were nicely greeted at the door and immediately brought to our table. Small room on the side and a very comfortable setting. We started with this wonderful appetizer of Calamari and Fried Shrimp. I knew that this was going to be a great meal as soon as we started to eat this first course. Delicious tender calamari and shrimp with a wonderful crispy coating. Our waiter was very attentive to our table and confirmed with us prior to firing up our dinner. The Chicken Parm was perfect. Two large-thin pieces of chicken cooked very well. Chicken was moist and tender with a delicious crispy coating. The marinara was a rich full bodied sauce. Always made you want more. My Rigatoni Bolognese was delicious. Bond 45 serves up great food, great service, and a prime location to set the scene for a night out. Seating was fairly easy, we had a reservation so there wasn't a wait. We opted to dine outside - weather was perfect. For the appetizer, we had the crab balls (can't recall if that's the actual name of the appetizer...that's what happens when you wait to write a review). I do remember them being really good with not much filler. I also had the crab cake entree with broccoli as a side; that too, was tasty. My order came out covered in something I am highly reactive to, even though they said they could accommodate my needs. They took it back and supposedly made me a new meal, it was not.
