Came with a friend for dinner on a cold Thursday night, and the place was packed! Good thing we got reservations. Funny enough, I've never tried BondST despite living in NYC forever and hearing great things about their sushi. Finally, got to try their infamous tuna tarts and crispy rice! I ordered a Tito's martini which was made super well, but pricy - $28... We shared: -spicy tuna crispy rice -spicy crab crispy rice -Tuna tarts -Wagyu and foie gras dumplings -scallop roll -spicy yellowtail roll Honestly everything was amazing, but i wasn't blown away by the quality. Definitely really good though, but not sure the price is warranted.... Some rolls were close to $40! We also shared the crispy banana dumplings for dessert. Those were fried well and came on a chocolate sauce and yummy whipped cream. Overall, really cool spot for a special date night or GNO but wouldn't make it apart of your daily rotation.

There's a reason I keep coming back to Bondst and call it my favorite Japanese/Sushi in the city. We stopped in Saturday night to celebrate my mom's birthday and I can confidently say it was a stellar experience. We got the tuna tarts, crudo, lychee martinis, waygu dumplings, and a couple rolls and we were extremely content. Service was impeccable and ambiance stunning as always. Bondst will forever be my number one spot in NYC if they keep it up like this.

Service was quick and attentive. Food was good but pricier than I would like. When it comes to just the food and service, it is easily a four out of five. Now onto the total experience, it would definitely be a two out of five. We came here for a birthday celebration but the vibes were slightly ruined because of the party next to us. The party next to us was celebrating an engagement that occurred right before their dinner. Not sure if the restaurant was aware as once the newly engaged couple and others joined, they had to bring many chairs to fit the whole group. They were a bit rude and obnoxious, but we tried to understand to the best of our ability as it was a joyous occasion for them. Whether it was constant flashing (photos) for 2 hours or bumping into us while they got around the table, we really tried to understand. I commend the staff for trying to calm the situation down for both our party and the party next to us as frustrations were shared. Appreciate the comped desserts for dealing with the party next to us.

Big eye tuna tarts, tuna crispy rice, grilled octopus, pan roasted salmon, pressed eel roll, lobster tempura roll, bread pudding... of the 7 items, I would reorder 3 - the big eye tuna tarts, tuna crispy rice, and bread pudding Are the vibes cute? Yes. The service? Excellent. But if I'm going to a restaurant, I expect to be blown away by the food, not just the vibes and service. The big eye tuna tarts and tuna crispy rice were packed with flavor and I would definitely recommend. The tuna crispy rice was really crispy, slightly spicy w the gochujang. I couldn't really taste the white truffle for the tuna tarts but the creamy ponzu was delicious I was most disappointed with the sushi rolls. Eel is one of my go to orders when I'm eating sushi and while it was good, it was nothing unique, besides the addition of the almonds, which weren't even toasted like they described. The lobster tempura roll was a major miss. The flavor profile was lacking lobster, when that should be the star of the dish. For the price tag of $62 for two rolls, definitely not worth it The grilled octopus and pan roasted salmon were good but I've had better versions at other restaurants The bread pudding, is to die for. Never had anything like it. SO SO DELICIOUS!!!

Some of the best sushi I've had. The space is dimly let and the service was great! They have several floors, each with a different vibe to them. We started with the tuna tart and the scallops with cauliflower appetizers. The tuna tart was one of the best things I've eaten all year - worth the hype. The mixed green ginger salad was also incredible!! I got the spicy tuna roll and it was so fresh and amazing quality. Ended with the mochi ice cream (comes with 6 total, 2 of each of the 3 flavors). I fear that cheap takeout sushi is ruined for me because of how good this meal was.

Phenomenal! Third time eating at BondST in Hudson Yards and every time blown away. Amazing sushi & rolls that are well balanced and decadent to taste. Top rated for date night or business dinner and must go for any sushi aficionado. A+

The food was fantastic and there were so many choices. The waiter was so helpful and suggested options for each section definitely get their help if it is your first time and save room for dessert. I loved the crispy rice app we got it was one of my favorites. The restaurant it self was beautiful lights with candle creating an intimate atmosphere.

Ordered: Creme Rosette Cocktail (~$22): Rose Tea Infused Stoli Elit, Japanese Basil Yogurt, White Peach Purée, Fresh Lime, Moroccan Rose Water Mist Lychee Martini (~$24): Mandarin Infused Haku Vodka, Lychee Purée, Tahitian Vanilla, Fresh Lavender Big Eye Tuna Tarts (~$34): Micro Shiso, Micro Cilantro, Creamy Ponzu, White Truffle Oil Szechuan Yellowtail Sashimi (~$28): Serrano Pepper, Chili Oil, Szechuan Ponzu Spicy Crispy Shrimp (~$36): Yuzu Calamansi Vinaigrette, Chipotle Aioli A5 Wagyu Crispy Rice (~$45): Japanese mustard su miso, fried capers, shiso Seared Salmon Roll (~$28): salmon two ways with pickled red onions Blue Fin Tuna Toro Roll (~$34): with scallion soy Bondst Donuts (~$16): with Yuzu Cream and Yamamomo Jelly Crispy Banana Dim Sum (~$16): Toasted Almond, Chocolate Ganache, Whipped Cream Aya's take: BondST is a stylish, inventive, and elegant restaurant serving Japanese-inspired dishes. Upon entering, I didn't realize it's actually 3 floors! When we checked in on the 1st floor, we were guided to take the elevators upstairs. It's so dim inside and definitely makes the atmosphere more romantic, but the tables were a bit too close together so you lose that intimate feel. There were some big hits and serious misses. Both cocktails were expertly made and the perfect balance of sweet, aromatic, and luscious. I definitely recommend! The Big Eye Tuna Tarts was my favorite bite all night! It's light, luxurious, and delicate. I love that every layer was so thin but you can still taste every ingredient. The white truffle oil adds the perfect depth, the tart is light and crisp, and the tuna is so fresh and soft. It's definitely going down as one of my favorite bites of 2026. The Szechuan Yellowtail Sashimi had a clean, citrusy flavor more than a kick I was expecting from the Szechuan. It's not spicy at all but more zesty and umami. The A5 Wagyu Crispy Rice was one of their Specials menu items. It was savory fragrant but was lacking a "wow" factor. I would've preferred the A5 wagyu to be cooked or torched. Nothing else we got stood out or would order again. The Spicy Crispy Shrimp was not spicy or crispy. There was a good amount of sesame oil which I enjoyed but not enough to save it. Both rolls were good quality but not cohesive in flavor and felt like they lacked taste. We got 2 desserts but honestly, I'd skip dessert here and go somewhere else. Don't forget to grab a matchbook on your way out. Good try overall!

My friend was raving about this spot on her previous NY trip, so on mine I decided to try it and I'm so glad I did. We ordered the tuna tarts pizza, mushroom salad, salmon roll and a crispy shrimp roll along with shishito pepper margaritas. Everything was delicious. Everything. if you go, PLEASE GET THE TUNA TART PIZZA , you can thank me later :) The service was great. We sat at the bar, our bartender was so cute and kind & always had a smile on his face. & the place is cozy, cute and a whole vibe.

Was really looking forward to trying this place. However was about an hour plus late. So didn't get to sit at the upstairs place. We went downstairs. Low key vibe. Very nice. Dark. Romantic. Food incredible Peppers. Mushroom salad shrimp. Grilled octopus. I had to pack food to go. As was running out of time. Will return for more choices. Great place.

I knew this place was trendy, so I really didn't know what to expect of the food. But, I was completely blown away with our meal! So much so that I made another reservation immediately afterwards to bring my other friends here. The inside is very dark and intimate. We had a pretty big group, so we shared the tuna tarts, tuna crispy rice, crispy shrimp, broiled sea bass, pork belly, skirt steak, spicy tuna roll, scallop roll, toro roll, and the bread pudding. Best dish here is definitely the tuna tarts. Our waiter recommended it, and I'm so glad we ordered it! It's not something that I would usually order, but I could eat like 5 of these myself. Other standouts were the tuna crispy rice, spicy tuna roll, and the miso sea bass. This sea bass tastes like the one at nobu but 100x better. The texture of the fish is indescribable. You just have to try for yourself! This place is pricey though, so it's a great spot for a date night or a special occasion dinner with friends. Or just a normal Friday night. I'm so excited to come back here!

An experience well worth the cost. Everything was delicious, from the salad and tuna crispy rice to the spicy tuna roll, and the ambiance is very nice and elevated. I also enjoyed my martini. Can't wait to go back one day!

Niku and gyunan were divine. In the niku, they somehow managed to make the tripe and beef tendon immensely flavorful and tender without being heavy-handed. The fatty beef in the gyunan was crack with the sesame chili oil. The bonito base soup was somehow savory and full-bodied while also being sweet and light, so even though I was about to burst it didn't feel icky. Nothing to note in appetizer land besides the fact that I finally tried monkfish liver and it literally tasted like a salmon-flavored paté. Both surprised and relieved it tasted so normal. Despite the long wait time, it still felt relatively spacious inside, and even with just two people, we got our own booth!

But at last, as I searched on DoorDash I stumbled upon this glorious restaurant they call Izakaya Fuku. I was drawn to the adorable names for their sushi roll dishes like "Strawberry Fields" and their Italian Japanese fusion pasta dishes, "Creamy Mentaiko Bacon Pasta" with creamy mayonnaise, spicy cod roe and bacon like are you kidding me? It's a bummer I wasn't more hunger or that I didn't have more bucks in my wallet because I wanted all these dishes. And the Chirashi Don, god it looks so beautiful the way that it's arranged in the photos online. I finally decided on the carbonara. And I was drawn to the fact that it was udon based. Now, I've just been living in hawaii these past years so that Japanese twist on an Italian dish that I just love oh so much really brought me back to missing the islands and the Asian spins they had on cuisines. Now my food may have not come in a jiffy but for after midnight cravings I'd say it was well worth the wait. And my oh my the portion was huge!!!! I slurped that big boy up. It would've been very easy to miss unless you're specifically looking for this place. Upon entering you're greeted by the numerous Michelin guides lol, front desk seated me pretty shortly after ensuring my seat was set, I was sat at the bar where they have a scan menu. Server immediately was attentive and filled my glass with some water. I was originally going to get the Dashi ramen but after I shared I'm allergic to shrimp the server felt it was a bit risky he was very careful so I appreciated that. I got the Tokyo ramen instead and a side of shishito peppers (he also omitted the Dashi JIC). It was happy hour so the appetizer was $7 I/o $8 and I also got an Asahi draft for $8. Ramen was $22. I was very surprised the server even asked about the oil the pork and peppers are fried in JIC of cross contamination - he shared that they use the same batch of oil as frying tempura (but I was ok with that but just watch out if you're like super super sensitive). Ramen: 7/10, decent bowl but not the best I've had. Feels a bit more Americanized and I prefer authentic Japanese ramen. Soup was rich, flavor but again it's one you can find at many other ramen shops in nyc. Noodle was a bit lackluster it was a bit soggy, not springy like freshly made ramen. The pork slices are flavorful but felt it's bit thin, I prefer a good cut...but personal preference. There's 2 thicker slices of marinated bamboo and half a jammy egg topped with scallions. Decent bowl but don't think it's worth $22. Shishito peppers: nicely fried. Well seasoned. 9/10 Overall - good spot for a decent bowl of ramen in the area. Environment: clean, nothing that caught my attention with design but just minimalist style, with black hard
