Here's what we had: CORAL REEF PUNCH -- rum + fruit juices + garnish + just enough ice BANG BANG CHICKEN -- An off-menu alternative to shrimp. This was mild, but still tasty. (I remember this dish having more kick to it.) There's a mini bed of lettuce hidden underneath. Keep this in mind, if you're considering ordering a salad. CAESAR SALAD -- Crisp. Light. As a pescatarian, I am never truly impressed with Bonefish Grill. I've been to many locations but this one in particular I have been to the most. Unfortunately, the fish dishes here have a "previously frozen" fishy taste and the shrimp disintegrates. No matter what sauce is added or how I order the shrimp, it loses its consistently and texture. Not a huge fan of their seafood but their mashed potatoes were REALLY good. I visited this Bonefish Grill on a whim and it was ok. The restaurant was pretty busy, but we were seated immediately upon arrival. I will start by saying that our server, Genesis, was amazing! She greeted us warmly and checked in on us often throughout our meal and she is the sole reason I am rating 3 stars because that is where the greatness stopped. Our food was merely mediocre. We started with Bang Bang Shrimp because it's their signature dish - it was soggy, but the flavor was good. My other half ordered a Smoked Old Fashion and it left a lot to be desired. Our entrees were mediocre. The Cod Imperial was overcooked and a little dry, despite the sauce on top and the kung pao Brussels lacked flavor. The Linguini Del Mar was drowning in a cream sauce and looked nothing like the advertised photo and tasted more like an under-seasoned Alfredo sauce than the advertised white wine butter sauce. There were also a couple of unopened mussels placed on the plate which were inedible, so that was disappointing. Overall, the meal was just ok. Not the best experience we've had in Gambrills since we moved here 3 months ago - food and service were just ok - granted, it was a Tuesday.

We had not eaten at Bonefish for several years, and then it was a location in Montgomery County. Last evening, friends invited us for dinner at the Gambrills location for my birthday. It was a very nice meal; still the good experience we remembered. The four of us shared a plate of mussels as an appetizer. It is a nice large serving, with very tasty broth, and easy to share. We ordered different main entrees: I had the shrimp & scallop skewer, one person had rainbow trout, another had Atlantic salmon, and another had steak and shrimp. All of those were good. The service was friendly and the food came put quickly. We shared a bottle of wine. For a large, filling meal, the prices are reasonable. And the food and service are consistent, which makes for a nice dinner out. read more

The best restaurant you can go to in Waugh Chapel Town Center. The service is great and accommodating. They are patient and if you have questions about the menu they are really knowledgable. Had a gift card so we used it on our trip to Annapolis. We have been to bonefish in Jersey many times and like it but I'm sorry to say this location just didn't do it for us. Everything was very rushed and service was very robotic. The chowder was Luke warm at best but did have a great flavor. My entree was also not hot and was just ok. Stopped in here a few days ago to redeem a $25 dinner voucher that I received during a Yelp event at another Bonefish location. My friend and I had just left a movie (we saw Terminator) at the nearby theater. On a Saturday night around 8:30, the restaurant had a decent amount of patrons but not overly packed. We got seated right away. Our server, Chere, was great! Kudos to her. She informed us about the Dine Rewards program. It's free to sign up and on your fourth visit to any Bonefish or one of their sister restaurants (Carrabba's, Outback, or Fleming's), your meal is 50% off! Sure, sign me up. The bread with olive oil was just ok. It was warm but not the best. That's fine though. It wasn't like I came there to eat bread anyway. I wasn't starving but needed to eat. I decided on the 6 oz filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes and spinach. Ordered my steak medium well and it was cooked perfectly. The sides were good. It was alot of spinach. I would have preferred more mashed potatoes and less spinach. Wasn't in the mood for dessert so we grabbed our check. I had no issues redeeming my voucher. We always have a great experience. This past visit we had more people show up than expected for a birthday celebration and the manager was on it. He accommodated us by quickly moving us to a larger table. The waiter was also attentive and courteous. Everyone's order was correct. The food was plated nicely, great temperature, and delicious. My first time trying Bonefish, and I gotta say, the food was absolutely delightful. I took my parents here, and they're very picky restauranteurs. After the meal, even they were content with the food. Everything was flavorful enough without overbearing sauces or too much salt. I would highly recommend the Rainbow Trout, it was my favorite out of the three entrees we ordered, the other two being Fish Tacos and the Shrimp/Scallops with lemon butter sauce. The only downfall was the service. The waiter was nice, but there were quite a long wait times to get water, to get bread and to take our orders. He also gave us the wrong check and had to refund and re-print the check. However, still a solid 4/5, and we're looking forward to returning. read more

Honey when I tell you that I was a happy camper this weekend, I am not lying! Didn't know that I could go in to eat but was pleasantly surprised to learn that dine in was an option. Waitstaff was very courteous and responsive. Drinks were phenomenal, ice cold and actually quite lovely to look at. The Bang Bang shrimp is always a great app but the entree...oh.my.goodness! The entree was all of that AND a bag of chips! (Nope, no chips were served, that's just a saying from back in the day) The entree was piping hot, a little explosion of flavor burst in my mouth. Stopped in for early dinner on Wednesday 7/19 and found the place mostly empty. Good, right? Belly-up to the bar and served really quick, right? Nope. "Bartender" could have cared less that he had someone, anyone there to tip him. Luckily, there was another rather bald gentleman that came around occasionally that was more attentive. We sat at an almost empty bar and dining room and the bartender just took his good old time mixing very few drinks and filling water glasses. And the food? So average for the price. Nothing special. No WOW factor on anything. And love how they can serve pre-frozen, flavorless crab cakes in the one state famous for its steamed blue crab (but I get it). Want decent crabs, crab cakes, and their delicious crab cake egg rolls, cruise just south on Rt. 3 to Fat Boys and try-out their selections. They have a 2nd and even better location a couple miles away off Rt. 450. Believe me we hoped to have a great dinner at Bonefish but it just didn't happen. read more

She got a decent tip for her drinks but she needs to learn to not personalize an individual's preference to move one's seating due to AC not functioning around the bar . Our server Katina was the best and is the reason I am writing this review. Stellar service, inviting, friendly; she told us about specials and offered recommendations. We enjoyed the bang bang shrimp as our appetizer and I had the Winter Cosmo, both were delicious. The cedar plank salmon was really good and a large portion with broccoli and mashed potatoes. I have eaten here before about 10 years ago at this location... there has been a decline in food quality. Here are some examples of what I mean. If an entrees is $35-40 I don't expect you to serve me a salad made of iceberg lettuce, with pretty much nothing else. I don't expect your bread with olive oil to NOT be real olive oil. I don't expect the end of the broccoli to be brown( showing signs of being d and having NI flavor which means it's hybrid and not truly grown. I expect the above at an $18-22 cost. Our experience at this Bonefish grill was good overall. The service was really great, the waiter was very attentive and we continually were given more bread and refills throughout our meal. Steak was cooked correctly and the Mac and Cheese was DELCIOUS. Only disappointment was the crabcake which was kind of just so so. He was highly respectful, friendly, and provided EXCEPTIONAL customer service. His personality was contagious from the start of service until the end. I typically frequent this restaurant about once a month and always have a pleasant time here with no issues, normally. And if I do have an issue which was only once when I was sat and no one came to my table for over 15 minutes, the manager comped my appetizer for the inconvenience and was super nice about rectifying the situation. It's always clean in the restaurant and I'm never sat at a dirty table. My 8 year old enjoys writing on the paper table cloth whenever we visit. I had to update my review. The food was good with the exception of the sauteed spinach. I was a little disappointed with our service. We came for the lobster dinner special for $20.00. It was a three course meal. Our server Emily was not on her game. They bought me lobster with no butter. First of all she took the orders down wrong. I had the lobster tail but that's not what my husband ordered and they tried to bill us for three lobster orders. When it was only two of us. She disappeared alot. Then she had to correct the bill. My husband food was good. I did enjoy my house salad and my lobster tail. The Brussel sprouts was delicious as well. The bread was good. My Martini was good. As well as the rice.
