This is one of the best Bonefishes I've ever been too. We called ahead and were sat immediately upon arrival. We ordered an appetizer but it never came out. When our server brought out our entrees we asked about the appetizer. She took full responsibility for the mistake and was very honest. We appreciated that, she was very busy so we understood. Servers are human! She proceeded to get us a fresh appetizer, took it off our bill, and the manager gave us a free appetizer card for our next visit. Overall the experience was excellent. Had the coupon for BOGO up to $25 entree. otherwise we would not have been able to surge. I had crab cake and steak w/ garlic mash potatoes and broccoli. Friend has Chicken w/ truffle mac and cheese and french green beans. The crab cake was wonderful- very little filler- Delicious crab and the steak was wonderful too. My friends and I were here for dinner tonight and I wanted to give a shoutout to the folks who made our experience so pleasant. We ordered a round of drinks that took longer than was normal. We didn't make a fuss, but kudos to the management team (Alaina and David?) and our server (Patrick) who made it clear they recognized our experience wasn't 100% perfect and also went out of their way to make it right. OK - I know I like to keep my money local and usually don't go to chains but Bonefish Grill is one of the exceptions. They are a chain that pays attention to quality and detail. They must have a good management program and follow-up because everyone has very good service and the food is always very above average. Tonight I went with 4 other people in town for business and we all had good food and service even though the place was packed on a Tuesday night. read more

Bonefish has the best ahi tuna! The problem is I can never eat it alone. It has to accompany the bang bang shrimp. The combo is quite a food experience! When I am feeling extra hungry the house side salad with blue cheese crumbles is one of by favs! read more

I have 2 cousins who manage 2,different bone fish restaurants and yet have never been. I finally went and the food is pretty good. The bang bang shrimp is awesome and the salmon is pretty good as well. Deff worth to check it out. I used to not like seafood and I'm liking it more and more. Awesome food. We started off with the baked oysters they were pretty good we also had the bang bang shrimp it was amazing. I got the filet it was good in flavor just a little over cooked. My husband got the salmon and he LOVED all the sauces that came with it. The pineapple martini with Malibu rum was to DIE for. My husband had the Moscow mule he said it was good but nothing he would order again he ended up getting a pineapple martini with me. I decided to spoil myself for lunch after my first of four finals this week. I sat at the bar and the lovely Courtney greeted me immediately. I had the ocean martini and a salad. Martini was delish and the salad with tuna amazing as well. Props to the kitchen! Continuing my splurge I ordered the best dirty martini. Courtney went above and beyond and added blue cheese to the mix since I asked for that in my olives! Just want to give props to great service and great food! Keep it up! read more

I have NEVER been more insulted in my life. Bonefish was my favorite restaurant, but after Wednesday at lunch, NOT ANYMORE !!! I ordered my usual, Ahi Tuna appetizer, and when it arrived, I was simply horrified. It was brown, almost a chocolate color and had the infamous green iridescent sheen to it. If you have ever had food poisoning, you KNOW what that green sheen means...it means if you eat this food YOU WILL GET SICK. I brought it to the attention of the server, who was very apologetic, and then the ASST mgr came out. She tried to tell me it was oxidation...which leave me to wonder exactly how long that piece of ahi tuna had been setting out. THEN to beat it all, she brings me a fresh one and by that point, my appetite for the ahi tune was just gone...I mean after seeing a old brown piece of fish that is tainted with food poisoning...would you want to eat it...and WHY didn't they bring me the good one to start with ?????? Well, the comped the ahi tuna, I would NOT have paid for it anyway, but made no effort to make right their wrong. SO SORRY BONEFISH...YOU WILL NEVER SEE ME AGAIN read more

Four of us visited for dinner with a coupon for a free dinner up to $25 with a ourchase of a dinner. We all purchased dinner entrees, and when the check came the cheapest dinner was taken off. ( 3 of us had dinners $19.00 and up. One of us had a $13 dinner.) I questioned the server and was told it is a BOGO. I told her I understood this, but the coupon states up to $25, not the cheapest out of the four. The manager also was on the BOGO train. I will NEVER return. Not for the $7.00, but the principal. My new favorite place! For starters, the bread with the dipping oil was fantastic. I had the best sangria (blackberry) I ever had, so I went for two. Loved the Pork chop and also my blue cheese wedge salad. The only reason for a 4 STAR and not 5 is because of the spinach that came out of a can and full of water. read more

This is the place to be on woodruff road for lunch! Quick service and high quality - I can't believe I've never been there for lunchtime until recently. I have to say though, I wish there was more outside seating. The bartender Christina knew her menu when I had questions. I enjoyed the salmon on a Caesar salad. The main entrees are generally good, but stick with the fish: anything not surf will taste a bit like turf. Additionally, their sides and appetizers are hit and miss: some seem fresh while others seem frozen. Service is good, though. Price is the on the mark as well. read more

My wife and I have now visited this restaurant twice and we are very pleased with both visits. A couple of points to start out. This is a chain. I rarely review chain restaurants and even more infrequently give them higher than a three rating. I encourage you to spend some time exploring the web site for Bonefish Grill. It is extensive, informative, and will prepare you for a great dining experience. In the case of Greenville Bonefish I encourage you to ask for Jennifer B of Pittsburgh. Quite by accident she has been our waitress on both our visits. Jennifer is delightful, not shy, helpful with food suggestions and a real asset for the restaurant. Enough of that. To night I ordered from the special menu and had Arctic Islandic Char a wonderful cross between Salmon and Trout. It was broiled on a little cedar wood plank and garnished with chorizio, citrus zest, and lemon butter. This was something just a little different and the more I ate the more I really got hooked on the unique and very subtle taste of this entree. With it I ordered Bonefish's standard garlic mashed potatoes. Prior to the main course my wife and I both had the regular tossed salad. Bread is brought to the table in more than adequate quantity (a small loaf) with a plate of oil and spices for dipping. My wife ordered Longfin Imperial tilapia. It is pan seared than stuffed with shrimp, scallops, and crab and then broiled to completion. Her side dish was perfectly prepared broccoli. Prior to our meal we had Bonefish's fantastic Singapore Calamari. It is perfectly flash fried and tossed with peppers in a sweet and spicy Asian sauce. With our meal we enjoyed a bottle of Pelligrino served over ice with lime. May I say that since we both share our entrees that we had another very special evening at BG as both of our entrees were absolutely delicious, perfectly prepared, and were wonderfully presented . These two delicious entrees along with the Calamari really did not leave much room for dessert but they have a tempting looking dessert menu. We arrived at BG late and there was still a sizable Dad's Day crowd. That in no way affected the service (remember to ask for Jennifer), or the quality of the food. The decor at BG is above average and there are large screen TVs in the bar area. The sound level is low enough that you can carry on a relaxed conversation. We highly recommend this restaurant. Check out the web site and take the time to read about the various entrees. Some are available with a choice of various sauces. I had Chilean Sea Bass with Chimichurri sauce on my first visit (absolutely fantastic) and due to the great tip from Jennifer avoided my ordering " what ever that fantastic thing was that I had on my last visit syndrome". BG's garlic mashed potatoes are absolutely perfect. All in all it is a delightful surprise to find real Haute Cuisine in a chain restaurant. Give them a try I know you will love it. read more

This is the second time we have eaten at this Bonefish in the last few months. The previous time was average, so we thought we'd give it a second try. The waiter recommended draft IPA beer was very nice. Our Caesar salads were brought out quickly, but they were made up of cheap head lettuce and barely average croutons. Taste was ok. Last week we were at Trios, downtown Greenville, and my wife's salmon salad was extraordinarily good, both in presentation, quality of ingredients and flavor. You should go there to learn how it's done. My entree sirloin (medium rare) and crab cake was disappointing. The crab cake, although small, was quite good. A little of the spicy remoulade sauce added a nice kick. But, the sirloin was a little overcooked and TOUGH. Last month we ate at Longhorns and the sirloin was melt in your mouth tender and very flavorful. Again, you can learn here. My wife's shrimp and scallops dish was barely average, she thought. Food has always been great, so for celebrating Mothers Day we did a reservation. When checking in at the time we were told we had to wait 45minutes for our table. Four of us were here on a Saturday night. The whole evening was a mess. From a debacle with our call ahead reservations, to our food taking forever and then bad food, we won't be going back. My husband's food was cold, the other husband's steak was over cooked and the other two meals were just mediocre. The staff seemed to be overwhelmed and it wasn't even at capacity. A waitress dropped a drink right behind us and started swearing and other wait staff were just walking all over her while she tried to clean it up. So yeah, it was a mess. read more

Not at all impressed with this Bonefish. I travel and try to visit as many Bonefish restaurants as I can. I enjoy the comfort of their menu. The bar service at this one has a lot to be desired. The girl behind the bar would have rather talked to one of her friends than pay attention to me. She took my initial drink order but after that, forget it at that point. I had to flag another bartenders attention just to get a menu. once she saw that I had finished my first drink and had a menu in front of me, the lightbulb went off in her head and she asked if I would like to order. Amazing how a menu got her attention! The food (fish sandwich) took incredibly long to be served to me. Funny thing is once the bartenders friend left, I got all the attention that I needed. What the he...!i'll probably come back again but this to e I will be more assertive about getting attention from,y server. The food however was as good as always. read more
