I've never had a bad meal or experience at any Bonefish. I'm not a big corporate restaurant eater but I feel like Bonefish sets the bar high with their fresh ingredients and team service. Everyone is always friendly, greets you right away, knows the menu and from start to finish, it's always an enjoyable experience. I've been for happy hour. Amazing crafted cocktails, I love the dirty Martini they used to have on their menu. It was infused with a Ketel One citrus. Although they no longer have it on the menu, the bartender makes it for me every time without batting an eye. The small bites on happy hour are delicious and always on point. My boyfriend and I had the cod sliders last time we were in with few martinis. The sliders are now one of my favorite menu items. Crispy, flakey cod on a small potato bun that melt in your mouth. We've been in for brunch and bottomless mimosas as well. The Lobster Club sandwich is fabulous and big enough to share. I can't say no to the crispy battered French fries either. When French fries are that good, you splurge! They also have great seafood that doesn't taste previous frozen like most corporate places. after a long day we decided to stop by bonefish grill for dinner and I'm so glad we did. We were able to sit in a booth without any wait and they were able to make me bang bang chicken since I don't eat shellfish. My son enjoyed his mac and cheese as well as we did our entrees. Best fish dinner I've had in years. My mother got the cedar plank salmon and I had the haddock special. Both were kind-blowing delicious! The sauces we had in the side were amazing as well. Somehow they melted feta cheese and caramalized it along with artichokes on the top of the haddock and it worked super well. The cedar plank salmon came with a cherry bourbon sauce that was subtle but great with the fish. The fish was moist and fresh. I wish I had this restaurant near me! read more

Food was ok. 1. The winner is the coconut shrimp appetizer. It was really good! Better than the Bang Bang shrimp that is supposedly a favorite. 2. Bang bang shrimp wasn't too bad. Wasn't that flavorful but the quality of the shrimp was great. 3. Wagyu beef and ginger potstickers - I could have done without this appetizer. It was only ok. 4. Chilean sea bass - it was ok. The seared exterior was really good and had flavor. Texture is soft. But there was something not fresh about it. The spinach side was pretty gross. The potatoes au gratin side was ok. read more

The meal I had with my mother was delicious. We both had fish. I had lobsters do crab cake and my mother had black cod. So so good! The service was great and friendly. I left off one star for allowing customers to not wear masks. Otherwise highly recommended. read more

We always have a good experience at Bonefish Grill. This time we ordered two "starters" instead of any entrees and they were large enough to easily fill us both up. We ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp and the Calamari, both with the sauce on the side (which keeps the actual shrimp and squid nice and crispy). Both sauces were excellent. I love how the Calamari comes mixed with some fried peppers and slices of fresh jalapenos. Both were very hot and delicious. The table bread, as always, was very good. We had to wait about an hour to be seated because it was crowded but the wait was worth it. read more

Typically Bonefish is one of my favorite chain restaurants to eat and drink at. I don't visit chain restaurants frequently, and if I choose to, it will always be Bonefish. Unfortunately, the Bonefish in the Villages is off my list. I get it. Brunch. In the Villages. Your reputation is not built on a brunch menu. But if you offer it, you must follow through. The visit today was simply awful. From service standards, the food, to manager follow up. I left Bonefish wondering how this unit could possibly stay in business. First to be seated at 10:00 a.m. as a six top. So things will move quickly. Not a chance. 20 minutes for coffee and water. At least the coffee was hot. Food took about 45 minutes. All the food was cold. 16 top was served before us. I watched as our food died in the window. Just poor execution by kitchen and expo manager. Hard for food to taste good when it was served cold, so nothing I can report on it terms of food quality. Manager came to table after we requested to see him. A "sorry" and comping of bill. That was it. No explanation given to us and very insincere. Tipped the bartender and got out of there with the other tables who were as equally disappointed. BTW Bonefish in the Villages. My wife and I have spent the last two of our twenty- four anniversaries at Bonefish Grille in The Villages with outstanding results and tonite was exactly what we have come to expect from one of our favorite chain restaurants, superb service (Mary Alice) & and consistent well seasoned seafood. The Maryland Crab-cakes was moist and full of lump blue crab meat with minimal fillers, highly recommended as an appetizer. My wife had the Aha Tuna & Calamari as her dinner, she always enjoy the freshness of the Aha Tuna. I always try different entrees so I thought I would try the Wood-fire Rhea's Grouper but unfortunately they were out of the Grouper so I went with a solid back up, Tilapia Imperial. And for dessert, I had the macadamia nut brownie with vanilla ice cream & my counterpart had the Jen's Jamaican Coconut Pie, only the taste surpassed the wonderful presentation. I thank the staff(Anglers) for yet another delicious anniversary dinner & sensational experience. Lobster rip off. Celebrated my mom's 92nd birthday last night. Decided to try someplace new for a special lobster tail dinner. Mom ordered the 2 lobster tails. One was missing 3/4 tail. Mentioned it to waitress who brought us another one and gave us a bill charging us 18.00 for that lobster. Something is very wrong with all this having 2 people (chef & waitress) not notice the 3/4 missing lobster and then waitress not making sure bill is correct in front of us and ringing it up still not noticing it. String beans are hard. Garlic potatoes are blah. Chicken marsala fair. Very disappointed for choosing this place to celebrate my mom's birthday. read more

Way below par. Limited menu is understandable but being unable to make an item on the menu is not. Ordered crab crusted cod with whipped potatoes and upgraded to asparagus, $4 up charge. Fish was overdone, asparagus was way under done and the whipped potatoes were grainy. Crab was about 1/2 tsp and the lemon sauce must have been a picture on the kitchen wall they passed the fish by. At least the olive oil for the bread was bitter and my partner's spinach was bland and tasteless. Waiter offered more lemon sauce but nothing would fix this disaster except lots of bacon and a pint of whiskey. Unlikely to return read more

Do not do take out. I enjoy eating here and very rarely have any complaints but during the last month and a half I have done takeout 3 times and each has been more disappointing than the previous one. Did the family meal first time and fish was dry and best thing was the salad - enough said. Last time was yesterday and that's it for me, order of bang bang shrimp for 12 dollars and got maybe 10 small shrimp that looked lost in the box. Granddaughter got the kids meal and her shrimp looked better. Will go back to restaurant but never again with takeout. read more

Great service and margarita. Bang bang shrimp was tasty and as usual did not disappoint. Hubby felt fish and chips could have been fried longer. We took the fish home to put in the air fryer. My parmesean crusted rainbow trout was disappointing. No flavor. The green beans were bland. I only ate half and wanted to wave goodbye at it as our server carted it away. Went for late lunch yesterday and was so happy to be sitting at the bar again. Rachel was very attentive and delightful. Food was great, except that my gnocchi was a little over done. The manager Eileen came over with a freshly cooked gnocchi for me, which was unnecessary, but very much appreciated. Eileen is a shining example of what excellent customer service looks like. I religiously came here 5 years ago. I had the opportunity to come back to this location today. Still as AMAZING as ever!! They're very responsible with social distancing in all dining areas. I've witnessed servers changing gloves and keeping up with sanitizing/cleanliness/etc. Food.... still as delicious as I remember! After getting our appetizer we waited at this location for an hour for food before receiving our meals, while both dishes arrived overdone after Going to the front to cancel them. This was 20 minutes after our waiter apologized and said she would inform the manager. The manager never came over to say a word to us and expected us to pay for the meals. This was the worst experience possible, as we watched tables around us get their food and leave. Management not coming over to say anything about our wait lead me to write this post. My husband picked up a take-out order this Sunday afternoon. The bang-bang shrimp AND the thai coconut shrimp had no sauce to go with them. The lobster roll was good, but the roll was as hard as a rock. So double-check your take-out orders. Quality control needs work. read more

I had dinner here on September 19, my sister ordered mahi-mahi and I the Parmesan crusted trout. The food was brought out and we were both entirely disappointed. The fish was over cooked, the shrimp was burnt to a crisp, the rice was so overcooked that it was nothing but paste. Why pay the these prices and the food was horrible. Great meal at Bonefish Grill today. We had the absolute best server we have ever had at Bonefish or any other restaurant in or near The Villages. Her name was Austin, as in Texas. She was on her A-game today. Not only was she prompt and responsive to our every need, she had the most pleasant personality we have ever encountered from a server. She even anticipated what we needed and provided us with several things without us even needing to ask. She made our visit to Bonefish and our meal the highlight of our day. Beautiful restaurant, nice service good menu, tasty food. My complaint is there were very little options for Gluten free items and they do not appear to follow allergy protocols well. We stopped in for dinner because I thought it would be easy to get simple cooked fish and veggies to meet my gluten restriction. There were about 3 things on the menu gluten free.
