Parking behind the restaurant across from police/ fire station and free in off season.

Only Brazillian steakhouse in Maine. Saw article they had Thanksgiving so it reminded me to check it out. We went the day after Thanksgiving. It was not super busy but the meats still came in a timely manner we never felt we were waiting a long time. They first bring you Brazilian cheese bread and these yummy beef patties. The sides were yummy my fave were the beans and rice- the beans were so flavorful with large chunks of meat and the Polenta "fries". I'm a grits lover so loved those. Salads were nice too. You just have to save room for all of the yummy meats. We told them we like rare and they could definitely accommodate. Definitely get the tomato vinaigrette side its yummy with the beef patty and meats. Save room at the end when they bring this special Brazilian cheese drizzled with honey and the grilled pineapple with cinnamon. There is a parking lot behind the restaurant across from police/fire station. Off season its free. They are open year round but I think starting in January they may have a few closed days. You can get reservations on yelp. Also maybe in off season they have a Wednesday $39 special. They had some yummy looking cocktails and also serve some famous Brazilian soda.

We visit Ogunquit a few times each year and had heard good things about Bonissoni. Our meal here was ok, but if you have been to other Brazilian Steakhouses, you might feel the same way we did - it was fine, but not really a standout. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. Our server explained that we could choose sides off of the menu, and that they recommend 2-3 sides. We chose polenta fries, yucca flour with bacon, mashed potatoes, and Cesar Salad. The salad and mashed potatoes were very good, the yucca flour never arrived - lukewarm yucca fries arrived instead, and the polenta fries were cold and not very crisp. It took awhile for the meat servers to come to us, but we enjoyed the breads while waiting. As is typical in Brazilian restaurants, the meats are the star of the show. We enjoyed ribeye, sirloin, garlic steak, and my favorite was the beef rib. My husband also liked the salmon, and we passed on the pork and bacon wrapped chicken although they both looked good. I felt that even with the red/green table card system, the meat service took too long, and we often had to signal to get the servers' attention even though our cards were turned to green. The same was true for refills of sides and water. It was very late in the meal before additional sides were offered, even though our side dishes were empty for quite awhile, and my husband's empty water glass was never refilled. We were at Bonissoni for about 1.5 hours and hadn't yet been offered the grilled pineapple that other people mentioned. I thought that maybe it wasn't part of the menu any more, but when we asked for our check, our server asked if we had tried the pineapple, and when we expressed interest in it, it arrived shortly afterwards and was delicious. We never saw cheese with honey, so maybe that item is no longer offered. The positives of Bonissoni were the tender and flavorful meats, and the pleasant dining room. The downsides were the cold sides, the length of time it took for meat service, and the lackluster service in general. I was curious about Bonissoni, but having now tried it, it is unlikely that I'll go back and I have had much better experiences at other Brazilian steakhouses.

Greeted immediately and warmly upon arrival the restaurant is very clean, stylish and inviting. Our waitress Paula was superb, very friendly and informative and was always right there without hovering. The food was delicious, the meats were so fresh and cooked well and not salty as most Brazilian steak houses are. I would've preferred more cheese bread, but that's on me for not asking. I def didn't leave hungry and had no room for dessert

We had a delicious dinner and we will be back! Thank you.

Our first time visiting and it will not be there last! Delicious food, deserts and drinks.

I don't want to get into a takedown so I'll just say from my perspective, I didn't enjoy it. It wasn't the waitress, who was nice.

We grabbed a couple seats near the piano player after ordering drinks at the bar. I had the Lavender Lemon Drop and it was ice cold and delicious. We also tried the Death Drop Martini, which was just as good. It was made with Casamigos Mezcal, passionfruit liqueur purée, fresh lime, and a tajin rim. The female pianist was incredibly talented, the crowd was friendly, and the atmosphere made it easy to hang out for a while. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to.

Calamari was crispy, but not very seasoned. Decent sweet potato fries. Server was attentive but zero personality. Dining space was nice, much quieter vibe than upstairs. Second floor is where the piano bar is, first come first served, and the line moved quickly. It was lively, a bit of a cluster. Piano player did a good job catering to Millennials to Boomers, even mashing up a bit between the Killers, Kings of Leon, and Blink 182, which was cool. But the bartender was a miss, very hasty - drinks were poorly mixed and he broke 2 glasses while we were seated at the bar, yikes!

No big deal, I was a party of one, and they were quite busy on the Saturday night that I went. Service is impeccable, really no complaints there. The food came out fast, even though they were quite busy. The food was great as well, though I wasn't a particularly big fan of the wood-fired beets (if you like horseradish on beet, you would like them). Fried oysters were great, I mean really good. Spaghetti with guanciale is absolutely incredible; key lime pie similarly amazing. Overall, I'll be back here. Plan to spend at least $50 per person. What a great location.

We understood it would be a limited holiday brunch menu instead of the regular dinner menu, which was fine. However, by the time we sat down to order, almost all of the options were already sold out. Our entire table basically had to order the exact same thing because there was nothing else left. The space is lovely and it's a nice spot for a regular dinner, but they were definitely not equipped for the holiday rush. Don't go for Mother's Day.

We were sat in a dimly lit corner, which we switched but caused a big ruckus. The front of house staff approached us and actually asked if we had a reservation, and how we got sat there and if we just walked in...it was a tad odd to be questioned but I think it was a miscommunication amongst staff. After that, we settled in, grabbed a drink and ordered some mussels (with cream), two orders of scallops and a blueberry pie for dessert. The mussels were very good, honestly our only critic was more bread! They can always serve more bread with steamed mussels so people can sop up as much liquid as possible! The scallops were definitely the star and I highly recommend them. You get 5 large scallops with a gorgeous crust, soft potatoes all sitting on a delicious corn and bacon sauce. Really, this is a must have when visiting. Last, our blueberry pie was great! Those fresh Maine blueberries were so sweet on the side, it really perked up the dish! Overall we loved the food, but the ambiance suffered from some other guests. There was a large party sat behind us with multiple kids. They scream, they ran around, they threw stuff....and the staff did not seem to care. The family themselves didnt seem to care! They enjoyed their meal and let the kids do their own thing. Once they party got their bill and left, at least 3 tables (including us), all breathed a sigh of relief and we all bonded over the craziness of the last 25 minutes. I wish the staff would've controlled the room a bit more as we know they were fine approaching us about changing seating. But I digress! The food was worth the stop and we would definitely come again!

It was a busy night with a 45 minute wait but it was worth it. The service was great. All the employees were friendly. As for the food, the aromatic smells emanating from each plate were hard to miss. Granted, we were already hungry but we were not disappointed! We ordered "Big Bac" fries as a starter and we're pleasantly surprised at how zesty the sauce was. Think the ingredients in a Big Mac sauce, chopped pickles included, and then spread over fries. Yummy! I got Bourbon Marinated Steak tips with corn bread and baked beans. When the plate arrived, those steak tips were calling my name! The marinade was perfect. So savory and mouthwatering. The corn bread and baked beans weren't overly sweet but just enough, which I appreciated. One of my traveling companions ordered the Mac and Cheese with Beef Brisket. It was definitely enough for 2-3 portions! The pic does not do it justice on how large the portion is. Drinks were good too. I liked the Raspberry Lime Rickey.
