Really tremendous. Perfect service, ultra clean and amazing food. I like this place. All the meat courses were delish. The chicken was served so hot, what a treat, grill to table, zip fast. Towards the end of the meal a pineapple was served same as the meats, sliced off a stick. It had been peeled, rolled in cinnamon and grilled, hot char. Very refreshing. So for the positives: the food is awesome. The quality of meats, rotation and rodizio are of good quality. Particularly this northern region (north of Boston) that has poor offerings of Brazilian Steak Houses, lacking of options. The not so positives: No a-la-carte offerings, no menu except one price. It's a flat rate folks. Starting at $50 per person, a couple can easily expect to spend north of $140 here with basic beverages, never mind wines or other drinks. Service is avg. at best: I suppose with the pandemic, it's the way such places handle it now, you check off whatever you want out of a list of sides, then they bring it to you. Or do they? Our party had to request certain items that never arrived. But eventually they did, once we asked. Owner is a nice guy, tries and is friendly. It's an alright experience overall, but for me--one that does not warrant coming back. Food is awesome, service avg. Price, is just... really unfortunate for the working man. If you're loaded ignore this. It would be awesome if a place like this provided the option for an alternative menu, or a-la-carte service which is why they're getting 3 stars from me. Then again, suppose that Ogunquit (this area) is a tourist trap, and they're positioned well to make bank and who can blame them? I'll pass until further options are provided. Great restaurant experience. The staff was great, location convenient, and very clean. The food was fresh and the meat was cooked perfectly no matter which type of meat you were served. This location has a full bar, and a very good dessert menu to choose from. Each diner was given a coaster with a red and green side. As long as you keep the green side up, a waiter or waitress will come up to you with different types of meat. You purchase you sides and drinks separately. Once you had enough, flip you coaster to the red side and they stop. Everything in downtown Ogunquit is within walking distance. Highly recommend taking a long walk after this meal. The cost is on the higher side, however, it is well worth it. As always, you get what you pay for. read more

Do not eat breakfast here! Way overpriced buffet, especially the drinks. Thought with the price of the breakfast buffet it would surely be a treat, but we were very disappointed. Very few items on the food bar. The meat, pancakes, & fruit(watermelon & pineapple only) were good, but the eggs & omelets are the fake egg substitutes that you get for free at a any hotel continental breakfast. I was excited to try a morning juice or cocktail, but with the price & disappointment of the buffet, there was no way I was going to pay $10 for juice, or $16 for a mimosa. Pricy but worth every penny. We brought two 4 year olds (who eat free!) and they loved all the variety too and the insane amount of sides that come with all the meats. I've been to a Brazilian steakhouse before, but this one will forever be THE restaurant I recommend. every single person I interacted with was genuinely happy to be here and helping you understand how they serve their food. When it comes to recommending my favorite dish, I can confidently say try everything you possibly and the only disappointment you'll feel is not trying this place soon enough. 13/10 recommend. The food here is SO DELICIOUS! I ate way too much because it is one price for all you can eat. Unlimited sides. The waiter was very helpful in suggesting the sides we should order, and how to eat them, because we weren't too familiar with Brazilian BBQ. The meat was brought out frequently, and it was all delicious. I don't think they had all of the meats advertised in rotation that night, we didn't see any sausages. But the meat we did have was amazing. I mentioned that it was my husband's birthday when we ordered dessert, and they came out singing with a lit candle, and "happy birthday" written in chocolate on the plate. It was a nice, friendly touch. We went on a date night, but I think it would be ok for kids, especially early in the evening. We will be back! read more

Firstly, please note that this is a STEAKHOUSE. It's actually part of their name. 35 minutes after we were seated (we had reservations) we received our side dishes which became cold before we were ever offered any meat (they won't serve you any meat until you have been served your side dishes). Approximately 15 minutes after that, we were offered VERY RARE sirloin, to which we declined. Then about 10-15 minutes after that we were offered chicken hearts, to which we declined. Then about 10-15 minutes after that we were offered chicken wings, to which we declined. And then 10-15 minutes after that, we were served chicken wrapped with (mostly uncooked) bacon. The delays between servings was unacceptable. I asked for the manager and expressed how utterly disappointing the whole experience was, and the ONLY thing he replied was "I'll take care of it", and then he did nothing as far as I could tell other than send over WELL DONE filet mignon. That was the final blow. That was when we decided to pay the $120 bill and leave. For $50/person, we could have had a world class steak at most other nice steak restaurants. The waitress was very nice (although unapologetic), and the hostess (who overheard my conversation with the manager) apologized when we left. Read the other negative reviews and you will see that our experience was not just an isolated incident. "Tourist Trap" is mostly what comes to mind. * To the manager I spoke with: Maybe the next time a customer expresses valid concerns to you, you'll really listen and then actually do something to correct the situation instead of doing basically nothing to appease me. We came in for a fun dinner experience. I had been to a different Brazilian style steakhouse in the past only one time. The rest of our party had never been... While the overall experience was nice, there were some differences that made the experience only average. The specifics about a Brazilian steakhouse should be explained upfront. It would have been helpful to learn how things would work for the evening. In the past I had been asked my doneness preference for the meat. I like medium-rare for steak, and most of the meat came out cooked medium to medium-well. While it is hard to please everyone with every cut, the other steakhouse seemed to do a better job accommodating. I appreciate that it is a non-seafood option in a town with lots of seafood. All in all though, this was an average dinner experience within a town of multiple options. read more

We had lunch at Bonissini Steak House yesterday and we're blown away by the quality and taste of the foods. We're originally from Brasil and can affirm that this restaurant is the real deal. All the meats are high grade quality and well seasoned and cooked to your taste. They offer a variety of side dishes, each more flavorful than the other. At staff's recommendation, we shared a passion fruit mousse that was absolutely amazing. Service was outstanding as well. Everyone was so friendly and professional. We were only offered 4 different meats. The sides were average. Mashed potatoes tasted instant. Not the worst food we've ever had but not the best. For $50 a person it just wasn't worth the price. The town was busy when we arrived but after scoring a spot in the public lot, we took a chance on Bonissoni and got right in. The food was incredible - so many meats and each one delicious. The lamb lollipops were especially amazing, the grilled pineapple was refreshing and the bacon wrapped chicken was so flavorful. There were many a la cart options for sides, the service was attentive and the drinks were delicious. The set price makes this a great place to go with a group and the frequent meat deliveries made this an interactive dining experience that our party really enjoyed. This place is new so it doesn't have the crowds of the other local places, so get there now - once word gets out, this place will be packed! read more

Happened to walk past when heading back to where we parked and saw the all you can eat for 50 bucks and couldn't pass it up. Went with friends,, 4 of us sat outside on the covered deck as it was a nice night.. Talked to the Owner, she was very was extremely pleasant and she spent a bit of time with us explaining how the resturant came about and that they have 3 business, one of them wine importer. We started with the traditional Brazilian Cheese bread (Pão de queijo) which we've had a number of times else where and with family. It was outstanding, in the basket was another bread that was more like a puffed pastry and it was amazing. We didn't get the name of it. Service was outstanding, they were attentive and engaged answering any questions we had, meat selection was outstanding. Selection of sides were many and very traditional, they were fantastic. We were in Kennebunk and came down to Ogunquit as we were topped out on lobster and craving a steak dinner. We had heard good things about this Brazilian steakhouse. It couldn't have been more lovely or satisfying! For a flat fee which includes everything except drinks (of course) or dessert (if you have room!) the food is elegant, delicious, and plentiful! The setting is sophisticated and comfortable without being the least bit pretentious. The service is warm, knowledgeable and efficient! First we ordered some salads and cold dishes. All were fresh and scrumptious. Great variety as well as familiar Caesar, tomato and mozzarella, etc. Then the parade of meats started arriving (we quickly ordered some luscious mashed potatoes and other warm side dishes)....sirloin, prime rib, lamb chops, garlic marinated steak tips (sooo flavorful!), chicken wings, bacon wrapped chicken and more until we cried uncle! All hot and juicy, fresh off the rotisserie (rodizio?) Oh, and little Brazilian cheese rolls as needed (warning-don't eat many of these!) Anyway we couldn't resist splitting one dessert 4 ways just to top things off, delicious passion fruit mousse. We'll be back! As soon as we're not full anymore.... read more
