Lately I have been receiving horrible customer service and food when eating out. It was getting to the point where I was dreading eating out. Today my husband and I were looking for a place to have lunch. My son invited us to come to Boomer Jacks off Western. We accepted. We were very pleased with the 1)customer service 2) venue 3)food. I tried out this new restaurant in Grapevine tonight, unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. I placed an order for take out, when I arrived at the bar to pick up my order the bar tender was rude and unprofessional, she ignored me for over 5 minutes. I eventually went to the hostess stand and ask them to get my order from the bar tender. When I got home and opened up the containers I was even more disappointed. The picture says it all and these are two separate menu items we ordered, served together in one plastic dish. I give this place 1 star! read more

This place is huge - lots of large TVs to watch sports. Service was good, food was hit and miss. I had the Turkey sandwich​ on the pretzel bun. I was hoping for a "Turkey O'Toole" like Bennigans used to have, but the amount of meat and cheese on the sandwich was less than I would have hoped for. The Southwest Egg Rolls were good. The Burger was a bit dry and the boneless wings lacked a good coating of sauce. All seemed to be a little less than good. Small changes could make a big impact on our meals. read more

No parking yet they have a display pickup truck taking up 2 parking places at the front door. Terrible hostess stand, did not know what they were doing, just stood around. Terrible seating waited 30 minutes and when table came open people just moved over to them. There was no place to sit while waiting, they foyer faces west and temperature at 8 pm was 90 degrees, need a fan. We left without eating , but said we would never come back. read more

Restaurant still needs to work out some issues with the staff, billing, and food. The food I had was rather blah and needs some improvement. The "boneless wings" are nothing like they look in the picture, they're about as big as a quarter. If the staff mess up your order get ready because it's your fault. Will try again at a later date. So I've came here a couple times and I really like this place service is BOMB and the deals are great, BUT.... I noticed the jukebox doesn't have certain genres available to play so I finally get into the LATIN section and I've played and also spent some of my hard working money on this jukebox app and as soon as I play some LATIN music not even a MINUTE Into my song I chose THEY DECIDE TO CHANGE THE SONG!!! And to me that is WRONG that that's the ONLY genre they decide to CHANGE so why EVEN have the songs available to be played this is so disrespectful and disappointing I can't believe this is how they roll only allowing rock and country to be PLAYED!!!!! I am fucking PISSED especially knowing I come here and spend my money not only on food and alcohol BUT the jukebox as well and they have the nerve to change my song!!!! read more

Pros: * Daisy R was our server on 8/17/19- delivered great service with a smile * menu had a vast variety * LOTS of indoor TVs with all sorts of sporting events * Great selection of beers * Adirondack patio chairs were very comfortable * Live music on the patio was good * patio fans kept us from melting Cons: * Food - the kitchen was a jack of all, master of non * The Ruben was soggy on the bottom (sauerkraut was too wet), the cheese was not melted and had a rubber texture, thousand island dressing is just wrong, the marble rye was toasted with what appeared to be oil instead of salted butter. * the potato fries were unremarkable - seemed to come from the freezer and fried in old oil * Loaded baked potato soup was good but was served on a plate?? It got too cold too fast. * Bone-in lemon pepper wings we just ok * Sweet patio fries were good but were served on a large plate resulting in cold fries after a few minutes Boomerjack's has great potential. If you are a manager, please, read this .Tonight was our second time at this place , my husband and I live all the way in Arlington, our friends live in Carrollton so we found this bar as a middle point to meet last week . We really liked this place: it looks new , nice patio, polite and nice servers, so we came there tonight again ( Tuesday) . We got there about 10.30 (we know you guys close at midnight ) We ordered some beers and shots and appetizers . Everything was great , our waitress was super cool , we minded our business . And then , when you guys were closing , a guy ( dark hair , tattoo sleeve , kinda short ) came to us saying that is time to finish the drinks and leave , my husband tried to finish his beer and the guy snatched the beer out his hand ( right from his mouth actually ) and got super rude saying we need to get going . Of course , my husband got mad . Maybe that guy felt like he could do it because we look very young I don't know . Honestly, I get it , you guys want to go home , long shift etc , we've been working in this industry for 8 years but I have never ever witnessed anything like that ever happened at any places I worked . I used to be a server and I've been bartending forever now , my husband is a bar manager. We don't show that we work in the industry when we go out . But what happened tonight was outrageous. I would never let myself or anyone else on my shift behave like that towards a customer. That just blowed my mind . We had a long weekend at work and just came to have some fun and relax and Uber home but man ... that guy was threatening us with police and stuff , like come on dude . We dindnt do anything wrong . It is a cliche to say I won't go back but yea . Please , I'm begging you , please , let that guy to read this message. BRO , YOU FREAKING SUCK ! So just to make sure , you ( the guy) , know who it is , we set at a table all the way by the bar outside . What happened is really sad . Very sad I would say . Terrible service. Wish I could give no starts, but they stopped serving us drinks since we had multiple drinks for 12 people. Everyone had a designated driver and no one was drunk. Boomerjacks has an awesome atmosphere for sports or just plain ole drinking. They have specials every night if the week and they are very affordable. Right now we are $2 Coors Light! Must check it out. Oh and the waitresses are good looking! read more

This location doesn't even Deserve a 1 star because our visit this past weekend was awful the worst visit ever to any Boomerjack's. When the first half of our table started getting their food we had to ask for napkins and silverware, First off we had a reservation of 11 our table should have already been set. Secondly this location has VERY POOR MANAGEMENT, I don't know the name of the manager bringing the food out but he dropped my husbands bun along with some of the brisket on our friends jacket and I'll add it was an accident but he literally said "well there goes your bun", then proceeds to apologize, the First thing you should always do is apologize to the customers especially if you are a MANAGER. He then puts the topless burger on the table and says "I'll bring you a new top bun out with some extra brisket for what you lost". Eventually 10 minutes later brings out the bun and brisket while the rest of my husbands burger I is already cold. Why couldn't you have just took the burger and made a new one? My friend who's birthday we were celebrating got beer spilt on her by our waitress then her patty melt didn't even have her Balsamic onions on it so by then her boyfriend was furious and went to talk to management. That's when we figured out that the guy helping bring out food was a manager. He fixed the issues after we had to complain, he had a new burger made for my husband comped his meal, brought Balsamic onions out for the ones missing on the meal, comped my friends meal who had the food spilled on his jacket. Then after all that our waitress was seen vaguely forgetting to bring out all the refill drink orders. The manager never came back to the table to make sure we were happy with our service or to make sure everything was okay after all that went wrong. Finally our checks had arrived and there was an already added gratuity to all of our checks the waitress did a horrible job and didn't deserve a $40 tip. I am visiting family from out of town and so the choice of Boomer Jack's was there's not mine. But I was so happy they' chose this place. It was Monday night Football and that made Boomer Jack's the perfect choice. My meal was great and I heard no complaints from the others. Special shout out to the onion rings and the jalapeño cheddar mash potatoes. But the best part of the night was the service. Lindsey was spectacular and did a fabulous job. If we return during my visit I hope she is our server again. She is the tops!!!! read more

Best sports bar in Grapevine, Southlake Colleyville Coppell area. Great selection of all drinks with awesome specials. $2 domestic pints on various days is a great deal. The only beef is they don't fill the glass and claim that is for a good head, but beer comes with no head on it. Basically they sell as a pint but only give you 14 ounces. Food was good. We like real cheese on nachos but they use valvetta or something like that. Menu is large enough to cover all tastes. read more

Difficult to communicate with staff or friend I came with. Mentioned this to 2-3 people but nothing done. (Probably they couldn't hear me...) I told the waitress I was celiac and she explained they are gluten sensitive which I understand. However my chicken wings came out without the blue paper which shows it was prepared "gluten sensitive". They took it back and less than 90 seconds later came back with a new order. I asked the waitress how they could prepare it that quickly and she said the wings were frozen and cook fast. I knew better, I am sure they transferred the same wings to a new plate with blue paper. Needless to say, I got sick. I tested the wings when I got home with my Nima tester and gluten was found. I have never written a review on yelp before but decided to do it today because I had a waitress lie to me today. I never had that happen before. Ever. I didn't want to make a scene at the restaurant out of respect for my wife, and I didn't. I just calmly paid and left. But I came home and it kinda ticked me off thinking about it. My wife and I went to eat at the newly opened Boomerjack's Grill & Bar in Grapevine. We were there on 8/24/18 at around 7:30pm. There was about a 30 min wait. But they called us with a table in 19 min. Fantastic! Place was packed. Atmosphere was awesome. We ordered 20 wings with lemom pepper and thai chilli, half order of the superbowl nachos, and shiner bocks. After a reasonable time, we got our wings. But they only brought 10 wings instead of 20. No problem. It's a busy Friday night in Texas. The waitress must have thought we only ordered 10 wings. So, when she came over, I told her we ordered 20. She knew we ordered 20 wings, so she was also surprised that they only brought 10 wings. She said she will go ahead and bring us another 10 wings. After about 20 minutes, the wings still haven't come out. She checked back with us and saw that the kitchen still didn't bring them out. Another 10 minutes passed by and still no wings. Our waitress stopped by and saw that we still didn't get the wings. By this time, we had finished our nachos and the first 10 wings between me and my wife. Another 5 min passed by and still no wings. Our waitress stopped by again and said she felt bad and said, "I will only charge for 10 wings". Few minutes later, they brought the 2nd 10 wings. After 2 shiners, nachos, 10 wings, and about 15 minutes of food sitting in our stomach, when they brought the 2nd 10 wings, we could only finish 5. so we asked for a bag to go and asked for a check. The check had 20 wings charged. I asked the waitress, "Did you not say you were going to take the 10 wings off the bill?". She said, "yes, but you ate them." I looked at my wife. My wife looked at me. We both were dumbfounded. But the last thing I wanted to do on a feel good Friday night with my wife was to spoil her night and dispute over a bill, so I just kept quiet, paid the bill, tipped only 10% and left. On the drive back home, we laughed in amazement at the con-job we were handed tonight. Wow. Our waitress's name started with a "B". I do know her full first name but chose not to write it here. Perhaps she had a rough night. Maybe the management told her she couldn't comp 10 wings like that even though they were served 20-30 minutes late. Maybe she just doesn't have the decency to say, "Hey I made a mistake. I don't have the authority to take the 10 wings off the bill." The wings tasted good. So did the nachos and of-course the shiner. But somehow, tonight's experience left a slight bitter taste in my mouth. read more
